Paid 50 deposit wanted 650 for one room 120 fitting £820 + for one room is a clear rip off ,cancelled order they kept taking money from my account gave me bak £30 from 200+ for absolutely nothing TERRIBLE COMPANY DONT DO IT CON MEN !!

This company took £588 from me, installed vinyl in my small kitchen (which they said was £350), and will not refund the remaining credit I paid. I am a pensioner, and this £588 was my savings,
The co-owner, Andy, who came to measure up, also was bad-mouthing their customers, saying you can imagine the state of most places that we have to visit,
Avoid this company. If you need to pay weekly or monthly, try a catalogue.
Plus, you have to pay cash to have the flooring fitted; this is on top of what you pay for the carpet/flooring. It is £50 for a small room
They use different names. Pay Weekly Carpets, Pay Weekly Flooring. I believe a few more as well!
I must correct the title from Pay Weekly Carpets to Pay Weekly Flooring. As I mentioned in my original review, this company has a few names.
I just received a text message from them saying my Direct Debit hasn't gone through. Thank goodness I cancelled it. Anyway, I messaged back to say this account was cancelled and closed. They then asked me to ring them, which I did, and I explained what had happened. I only had one room done and a small kitchen, which was £350, and I paid £588 in cash, plus set up a Direct Debit for the monthly payment plan of £68 per month. I cancelled the rest of the rooms after an expert advised me that I would need boards under the vinyl I ordered, which were far more expensive than the vinyl itself, and that the vinyl wouldn't be any good without them. I phoned Pay Weekly Flooring and explained, and she asked, "Well, what do you want me to do?" I said, well, I will have to cancel because I cannot afford this. I am a pensioner, and the vinyl alone was coming to over £1400; that's without any interest that would be added on. I was told that was ok; they would cancel. I asked about the money I paid over; the kitchen on my receipt was £350, and I paid £588, but I was told I wouldn't get anything back. After a few weeks of cancelling, I received a text message telling me it was Pay Weekly Flooring, and they were on their way, and to make sure all the rooms were empty so they could lay the vinyl, I told them this had been cancelled several weeks before, they were fine, as they are sub contrators, they were very efficient when they laid my kitchen vinyl.which by the way I had laminate slats down, so didn't need boards. So, going back to today, I called the company back. At first, the lady was very friendly and said your Direct Debit hadn't gone through. I explained that I had cancelled, and she looked into this. Then her whole attitude changed, and she said, " You paid £588, and the kitchen was £350 I said yes, and they're refusing to give me any refund. One Direct Debit has been paid already, so I have paid a total of £656. She said you will get a refund for £148. That means the small kitchen cost me £508 for a small piece of vinyl; I paid the fitter myself to lay it, which was an extra £50 cash.
After I was told I would get £148 back, she said it would take a while before I received it, then bluntly stopped me from saying anything more and cut me off!

This is the second time we’ve used Pay Weekly Carpets and we’re just as happy with the results second time round!
The fitter was fantastic. He was polite, hard working and made sure it was finished to a high standard.
It feels like the downstairs has had a complete refresh with the new flooring! I will definitely be using Pay Weekly Carpets again! Thank you.

Booked in for an appointment lady came and measured. Said the deposit would be X amount which i paid, after giving me a price. Bit expensive which was fine as do not have the means to pay for it outright. After she left agreement via email came with lots of hidden extras, delivery costs, fitting expenses. None of it included in the price given. Only to then find out the deposit is actually not a deposit and its just another Fee. Original price was £370 but then after hidden feed came to £515

Add to note have used once before maybe 2 years ago and i cannot recall if the same hidden extras applied
