PermaFrame - the 4th Emergency Service !
We used PermaFrame (Frome) a few years back to install a side PVC glass door. It has been superb, and completely trouble free apart from this friday, as we were preparing to go on holiday, we couldnt lock the door properly.
We called PermaFrame and got transferred to their swindon Branch.
They were so helpful and on hearing we were supposed to be off on holiday, sent an engineer to solve the problem who arrived in less than 15 minutes!
He managed to fix the probelm then and there to allow us to go on holday. They saved the day!
Incredible service, really very impressive. I wish more companys were like this.
Thank you permaframe especailly lady from the Swindon office who made all the magic happean!

Dear Steve Hill,
What a story—and what a privilege to read your incredible review of Permaframe! I’m genuinely gobsmacked that you’ve dubbed us “the 4th Emergency Service”—that’s high praise indeed! It’s fantastic to hear your side PVC glass door, installed a few years back, has been a trouble-free star until this hiccup, and even more so that our Swindon team swooped in to save the day. Less than 15 minutes for an engineer to fix the lock before your holiday? That’s the kind of magic we love to deliver!
A huge thank you to the lady in our Swindon office who orchestrated this brilliance—she and the engineer truly went above and beyond. Your kind words about our service being “really very impressive” and your wish for more companies like us fuel our passion to keep raising the bar. If you ever need us again—holiday or not—please don’t hesitate to give me or the team a shout. Thanks for choosing Permaframe, and enjoy that well-deserved getaway!
With heartfelt thanks,

Happily a good experience with a company who seems to care.
The process of putting in double glazing windows has seemed straightforward to a couple not convinced it was the way to go. We were a little apprehensive as it is an old house. Dan & Brian hit the ground running on the day of fitting our new windows. They worked efficiently & kept us abreast of what they were doing. Our questions were answered, explanations clear. We found Dan & Brian to be polite, friendly, cheerful & hard working. The areas where they worked were left spotless with a thorough vacuum & wipe down plus the removal of all debris & old windows.
