Petruth Paddocks Camping Opiniões 

Had an absolutely amazing long weekend away at Petruth Paddocks, this is the second weekend I've stayed there and both times, has been excellent, Petruth Paddocks is a very family friendly camp/caravan site, you are always welcomed by friendly staff, who are ready to greet you with a smile. This time we were unable to have one of their firepits, due to the heatwave and the fact that the ground was so dry, so the fire risk was too great, which is totally understandable, other than that,,, we had an amazing time, the massive car boot on the Sunday is excellent,, although it wasn't as big as before due to a bit of rain on the Sunday morning,, but still managed to grab a few bargains!!
I would very highly recommend staying at Petruth Paddocks if you want a fantastic holiday in Somerset,, the fact that Cheddar Gorge is only a 5 minute drive from the campsite,, is a huge bonus aswell,, as it's an absolutely beautiful place to visit.
I will definitely be going back again.

Our annual family camping weekend with 5 families, some of us were in tents another in a camper van and a motor home plus a family in a Pethruth Paddocks hired Bell tent, which was very comfortable. We were all sited together with plenty of space for our Event shelter in the middle.
Very friendly and helpful wardens. We enjoyed our weekend and would visit again.

My daughter had a great stay with her friends she such lovely clean well looked after site with great staff

Perfect location excellent staff clean toilets showers there was music entertainment for all plus play park nearby keep eye on the kids still to relax unwind for parents . Even recycling bags buckets given on entrance go along way so keeps a clean campsite

We had a fantastic stay at Petruth Paddocks and will definitely be coming back! The campsite has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, is very clean, and is perfect for families with young children. Our kids had a wonderful time exploring and playing safely.

One of the highlights was the amazing team working on site. The group of young people were incredibly friendly, energetic, welcoming, and always happy to help with a smile. They really made us feel at home and created such a positive atmosphere around the campsite.

The facilities were clean, the campfire experience was brilliant, and the location is perfect for exploring Cheddar Gorge and the surrounding countryside.

Thank you to everyone at Petruth Paddocks for making our first family camping trip such a memorable one. We can’t wait to visit again!

Our first time at this site just outside Cheddar Village was given the cherry on top by the friendly and helpful staff, the always clean facilities and fantastically stocked - air conditioned - shop. As an ambulatory wheelchair user ,a must visit for quiet times or socialising.

Friendly helpful staff with realistic camp rules. Clean facilities. Loads of room to choose to camp.
Downside is that we were not able to take advantage of the coffee shop and pizza as that is only open weekends; we stayed mid week knowing it would be quieter which was perfect for us. I have been before on my own on a motorcycle trip and would happily recommend and come here again. Great to have an off the ground open fire and bbq. Good views too though the farm animals and birds run on a different time scale to us.....But what a lovely experience to unwind and venture into the lovely town and check out the Gorge and Caves.

Really nice site separated out by lifestyle preferences, super friendly and helpful staff, clean and convenient washing/ toilet facilities, perfectly located to cheddar gorge. The fire pit service was also super. Everything you could need. Highly recommended.

Clean, well planned site. Extra facilities, like the bus bar, different food trucks and even a live singer on the weekend was fab. 10mins walk into cheddar and little further into the gorge. Great base. Originally booked for 2 nights but added another on as it was so nice- the good weather helped!! Would definitely stay again.

We stayed for one night the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We loved the facilities on site and the field we stayed in had amazing views and was kept clean and tidy. We had a lovely fire in the evening provided by staff at a cost of £15. The only fault we found was there was no toilet paper in the toilets on one occasion We would definitely come back for another visit.

Warm welcome & The facilities are great! Very clean! They had live music & a bus bar which was just incredible. Food truck on site too!

We stayed here for the first time for 1 night and we had the best weekend. You can check in from 2pm and because we booked a non-powered grass pitch, we didn’t need to check out util 6pm the following day! The late check out was perfect. It meant we still had the whole day to chill, explore and make the most out of the hot tub we also booked. I would definitely recommend the hot tub hire. On arrival, we were taken to our pitch and the hot tub was already in situ and filled with water ready to be heated up. It was huge and really easy to warm up with fire wood. We were provided with 3 bags of kindling which was the perfect amount.

There’s acres of land on the campsite so plenty of room for everyone and it’s pet friendly. My dog had the best time. On the Saturday evening there was a live band who were brilliant and a converted bus that served a huge range of ciders, beers and cocktails. The espresso martinis really hit the spot. There was a good amount of picnic tables and chairs with a big fire pit and the team brought out extra parasols to keep everyone sheltered from the May showers. We even hung around after the band had finished to order more drinks from the bus and chatted with other campers without disrupting those who had turned in early for the night.

There was a young farmers party nearby who were playing music until 2am but the tunes were fab and once we were tucked up in bed we couldn’t even hear the music and it was no bother to us.

We camped out in the adult field that is the furtherest field away from reception but only a short walk away from the toilets and shower blocks. This was perfect for playing music and not having to be too worried about staying up late and keeping others awake.

Plenty of toilets and shower facilities and the showers were hot and had good pressure. The toilet blocks had ample room too and were cleaned often.

There’s a small shop in reception to buy extra wood and snacks and there was a street food van serving food in the afternoon and for breakfast. We brought our own fire pit but you can hire them from reception and they deliver them to your pitch.

The team regularly did the rounds to make sure everyone was happy and to drop off extra wood if anyone needed it. Everyone was super friendly and really helpful.

We camp a lot and we both agreed that this is by far the best campsite we have been to. We will definitely be making this one of our regulars.

We had a lovely stay Petruth paddock. There are a few campsites in England I would recommend it so high for cleanliness. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Beautiful scenery within easy reach of cheddar and Ebbor Gorge hikes and a pub!
Will definitely go again.

This is a great campsite with all the wonders to be expected from a Somerset site. They were very accommodating allowing us to order some forgotten items from Amazon. The laundry was very reasonable in terms of costs for washing and drying.
I would recommend ordering a pizza from FedbyFedandBen on a Friday, It was wonderful.
The site has great 4G access and the washrooms were always clean and presentable.

Everything about the stay at Petruth Paddocks was fabulous.
All the staff were so welcoming and friendly. The facilities were great especially the showers and so clean. Play parks for the kids and cocktails and food. A great weekend thank you. X

Great campsite large pitches,lots to occupy children, clean facilities and lots of them! Great to be able to get food/use bar onsite. We did keep forgetting about having to top up our electric but easily done at reception. We are already planning our next visit! As a family with a young baby the only suggestion we have is it would be super handy to have baby change or even just a changing mat in some of the showers so theres somewhere to sort baby out after a wash without carrying them across to one of the baby change toilets.

Large well run campsite - with fried sky service, good family area and adult area. Nice and quiet at night
Central Cleaning facilities, washing machines and braziers with logs available to hire at your pitch.
Shirt walk to Cheddar Town and Gorge itself

Great facilities, although I was a solo traveller I could easily see that having the venue would be perfect for a family adventure. Location wise it was so convenient for the main attractions of cheddar.

A really nice touch was getting a visit form the owner on the first night providing me with some local advice

Perfect Easter camp. Relaxed, clean facilities and a good ethos. We felt so comfortable and will definitely return. The location is also brilliant. Thank you Petruth Paddock!!!

We loved our short camping trip and stay at Petruth Paddocks! Highly recommended. Felt right at home and most of all taken good care of!
