Our recent trip with PGL was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The experience was fun, engaging, and thoroughly enjoyable for everyone involved. The leaders were outstanding—friendly, interactive, supportive, and great at encouraging all of the children to get involved and challenge themselves.
The children engaged positively throughout the trip and had the most incredible time. They conquered fears, built confidence, developed friendships, and created memories that will stay with them for years to come. It was wonderful to see them thrive away from home while enjoying new experiences alongside their friends and teachers.
Thank you to the whole PGL team at Boreatton Park Shropshire for providing such a well-organised and unforgettable experience. We would highly recommend PGL to any school looking to give their pupils a fun, rewarding, and confidence-building adventure.

Our residential trip to PGL Boreatton Park was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The children embraced every challenge with enthusiasm, showing courage, resilience and teamwork throughout the week. From the exciting activities to the beautiful surroundings, every moment provided opportunities for learning, personal growth and unforgettable memories.
The PGL staff were exceptional—supportive, encouraging and full of energy—helping every child to feel confident and included. It was wonderful to see friendships strengthen, new skills develop and so many smiling faces throughout the trip. An absolutely fantastic experience! Every child was engaged, safe and now walking away with some amazing experiences and memories! Charlie was a great group leader, the instructors were fantastic and chef’s kiss to the care and attention from the Chefs.. we had a range of dietary needs and they went above and beyond for each one… we are looking forward to booking again!

Our recent PGL residential was brilliant. We were there for 3 days during the heatwave and the children had a fabulous time. Gorgeous settings and we stayed in the tent village, so that was lots of fun! Our timetable was jam packed with exciting activities and they even changed one to a water activity when we got there as we were missing anything like that on our timetable and it was super timing, as it was a hot day!
The food was great and there was a lot of choice, we felt very looked after. The instructors were very helpful, informative, fun but we felt very looked after and safe too. Lots of the children tried activities they initially were very nervous about. Any problems we had (there were not many!!) were sorted out very quickly and our fab leader, Ava, was brilliant.
Our school have already booked in for next year, can't wait!

the staff, our groupie was amazing, we took yr 11 SEN pupils and the staff really helped, it was a very small group, but they made the trip. Catering has improved a lot and were very helpful with fussy eaters, waking night staff on site were very helpful with wondering pupils and sorting room issues. overall a really good experience and farewell to the leavers. The activities we had were also really good and not what they had tried before.

Amazing experience. Friendly staff who went above and beyond with our students and catered for all of our needs. Will definitley be booking again.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at PGL Bawdsey Manor and could not have asked for a better residential trip for our children.
From the moment we arrived, the enthusiasm, professionalism and encouragement from the staff were exceptional. A special thank you must go to Gracie, our amazing group leader, who was simply outstanding throughout the whole trip. Her energy, patience and ability to build rapport with every child helped make the experience truly unforgettable.
The range of activities was incredible. The children threw themselves into challenges including the zip line, abseiling, climbing, challenge course, raft building and the giant swing, along with many other exciting activities. Every activity pushed the children out of their comfort zones in the best possible way, helping them develop confidence, resilience, teamwork and determination.
What impressed us most was seeing sides of the children that we had never seen before in school. Some children discovered newfound courage, others emerged as natural leaders, and many surprised themselves and their peers with what they were capable of achieving. The activities brought out hidden strengths, encouraged friendships to flourish and gave every child the opportunity to shine.
Watching children support one another, celebrate successes and overcome fears was incredibly rewarding. The sense of achievement on their faces after completing challenging activities was priceless.
PGL Bawdsey Manor provided an experience that was fun, adventurous and educational all at once. The memories made will stay with our children for years to come. Thank you to Gracie and the entire PGL team for creating such a positive, inspiring and unforgettable experience. We would highly recommend Bawdsey Manor to any school looking for an exceptional residential adventure

Great accommodation for the children and challenging activities. Lot of our pupils, have stated that PGL will be the most memorable experience of their last year of primary school - would not hesitate to recommend it to other schools.

We've tried other providers but keep coming back to PGL. As an organisation they really are second to none. Our children are safe in their care, they get to experience a range of activities in a well-organised environment and the staff anticipate every need. A special mention to the catering team led by Martin; nothing is too much trouble and we felt confident in their ability to manage even the most serious and complex dietary requirements with ease. Thanks for yet another fantastic trip - we've already booked our 2027 visit!

The experience was fantastic especially for inner city students.

The staff, experiences and organisational aspect were all amazing for our Year 6 residential. The food was good, with an excellent salad selection, we never went hungry! All reps were brilliant, the children loved the water activities and a highlight was the disco. Beautiful location, from the zip wire, we could see the sea!

Excellent geography residential trip for year 9 - highly recommend it

Our group leader - Gus - was amazing, he really engaged with the children and weeks later they are still talking about him and his costumes! The facilities were clean and the dinner hall was well organised. I will definitely be returning next year!

The activities were excellent, the staff team were marvellous. So helpful and fun. Everyone on our trip had a ten out of ten experience

Even though due to weather and the lake being out of action, the girls and y team still had a really good time.

Fantastic weekend spent at PGL Dalguise with our Guide unit. The weekend was full of different activities which the girls loved. The instructors at each activity were knowledgeable and encouraging. Safety was paramount but didn’t impact on the fun and enjoyment. Our groupie Lorelai was amazing and ensured we had everything we needed at all times. We were sad to come home but are already planning our next visit.

Ford Castle cannot be faulted. The staff are incredible and the range of activities offered are great. Our children (and staff) had an amazing time from start to finish. We saw a different side to some children and, without fail, every child blossomed during the 3 days we were there. They developed skills we would never have been able to do in school.

At pgl caythorpe, I had a good time during the activity’s but there’s lots of screaming In the tents because of all of the bugs cockroaches, spiders, earwigs and mosquitoes there was even dirt spreaded on the tent walls. Also the toilets are dirty and disgusting with spiders climbing up the walls and mosquitoes in the bathroom stalls I even saw blood in one of the toilets , the showers are even worse there’s hairs and dirt all over it even spiders and spiders webs on it. And one of the katsu sauces made people feel sick , the strawberry jam also had the consistency of jelly which was hard to spread properly. ( do not recommend unless your fine with that )
