Protyre Autocare - Taunton Opiniões 

Really easy to book my service with Protyre online and was even surprised that they were open on a bank holiday. The site was very clean and I received a warm welcome on entry. The team were attentive when I explained a few concerns I had. I was comfortable leaving the vehicle with them and that they would take care of it. I did have to wait for longer than expected and it was getting near to their closing time and I hadn’t been contacted. So I called and got a friendly update that they’d been delayed waiting for a part but it would only be 10 more minutes. I arrived within that window and the car was already parked up. I received a comprehensive explanation of the work done, and a full invoice receipt with details about the condition of my car. Really pleased.

Took online appointment and submitted 10 minutes prior to the allotted time slot. Submitted the keys at reception and enjoyed a cup of coffee. It was ready before the expected time

Despite ordering and paying for my tyres in advance and booking a slot, the tyres were not available when I got there. Garage blamed the warehouse but I wasn’t the only person that sat affected. Would have made sense to check delivery against jobs booked. Also took 25 minutes after my arrival to inform me of the issue.

Good price and GOOD SERVICE, when it eventually became available. BOOKING ONLINE IS A LOTTERY. Having made my purchase on wednesday and told it was available on Friday, I dropped into Protyre just to make sure it was open on Good Friday. It was, but they had NO booking evidence. Payment evidence YES.
I waited til Tuesday to have it done.

Really great experience. I was able to wait in a lovely reception area and do some work. Great facilities! Communication over the job was clear and helpful. Overall would recommend. No complaints for the Taunton branch.

The chaps were friendly .quick,and thorough when changing my car tyre ,and checked over the car tyres and breaks as I was going on hoilday .

little be on the cost of the Tyre but its worth it because you get first class honest friendly service will go back again no problem ,Highly recommanded in the Taunton somerset Branch 😊

Fitted new tyres fine however instead of putting the spare (which was fitted because I'd had a punture) back where it goes they just shoved the spare wheel inside the vehicle, making a dirty mark on the upholstery while they did it. They had time to inspect my brakes for an upsell, which I didn't need or ask for, but no time to put the spare back where it goes apparently.

Booked in to fit 4 new tyres due to a rear wheel alignment issue causing abnormal wear. The vehicle is 4WD. Tyres were fitted fine and the free alignment check carried out, however they were unable to adjust the wheel alignment due to sized adjustment components. Whilst this is not unusual, my concern was their attitude in that there seemed to be no inclination to offer a solution. I may use Protyre again but only for tyre fitting and in any case will not be using the Taunton branch at all. I have since booked my vehicle in with an independent motor vehicle engineer to resolve this issue.

Good service and an easy-to-use website to buy tyres, etc. Had a slight issue with my tracking, which was rectified quickly and painlessly. Can't fault the guys at Protyre. Just note they have moved to Priorswood Trading Estate now.
