Great service. Item arrived quickly with good communication. The tortoise table was easy to assemble and the plastic bottom is a great addition not usually found on other sites.

The hutch arrived promptly and was really simple to assemble—the online videos were particularly helpful—and for someone who’s never used a screwdriver, I was able to do it on my own in an hour. The rabbits are very at home in the hutch and have a good amount of space. Would highly recommend!

Rabbits love the new run! It’s ideal for our garden and provides them both enough space to run and do little jumps. Courier Co were a little aggressive and frustrated due to their language barrier of not understanding my northern accent but we received the item fine in the end.

Arrived very promptly post order, good communication from seller and a good quality product. This is the second time I have purchased from here and will do so again.

Sadly, what started as a promising purchase has turned into a disappointing experience

I really hoped this would be a 5-star review, particularly because over the last few weeks I’ve spent more than £500 with Rabbit-Hutches, including delivery, purchasing the Balmoral Hutch, the hutch cover and the large run combo.

I’ll start with the positives. The Balmoral Hutch itself is fantastic. I genuinely cannot fault it. The instructions were clear and straightforward, and we had it built in no time. Unfortunately, though, the same cannot be said for the hutch cover. Fitting the cover was a full-blown nightmare. Despite following the instructions, it took considerably longer to fit than the actual hutch, and even now it isn’t fitted properly. We’ve eventually given up with it and probably won’t use it.

My main issue, however, is with the large run.

We received the run on Monday and built it that evening. While putting it together, we noticed that a section of the timber was cracked, with a small piece of the wood having actually come away. I appreciate that the damage wasn’t huge, but when you’re paying £179 plus delivery for a new run, I expect it to arrive in perfect condition.

I contacted Rabbit-Hutches on Tuesday to raise the issue. Unfortunately, I felt the response was more of a fob-off than a genuine resolution. I was told that the timber used is well known for its resistance to rot and that the damage shouldn’t affect the longevity of the run. I appreciate that reassurance, but that isn’t really the point. When you spend this amount of money on a brand-new product, you shouldn’t have to accept damaged or cracked timber simply because it’s unlikely to cause a problem.

I therefore asked for the run to be replaced. Instead, I was offered a replacement panel.

The problem with this is that the run arrives largely pre-built, with only certain parts requiring assembly. I would therefore have to start dismantling a panel that I didn’t originally assemble in order to replace it. I’m not comfortable doing this, particularly when it’s a brand-new product and I don’t want to risk damaging something myself in the process and then being held responsible for it.

I’ve therefore decided to keep the run as it is rather than go through the hassle of replacing the panel.

It’s genuinely disappointing because, having spent over £500 with the company in a short period of time, I expected a much better level of customer service and a more straightforward solution when an issue arose.

The hutch itself is excellent, but unfortunately the problems with the cover, the damaged run and, most importantly, how the complaint has been handled have left me disappointed with my overall experience.

I really hope Rabbit-Hutches take this feedback on board because I would have much rather been writing a glowing 5-star review.

My rabbit run arrived promptly and was easy to assemble. It appears to be good quality and I’m really looking forward to its inhabitant arriving - I’m adopting a disabled hedgehog that can’t be released into the wild.

Item purchased is high quality and reasonably easy to construct. It arrived quickly and in good condition. My cats love it and are already using it frequently when outside. Couldn't ask for more.

Such a wonderful company. This is my third purchase and have found the service excellent. The goods always arrive well packaged with clear instructions to assemble the item. Whilst I only paid for standard delivery, the item was delivered within 3 days from my order being placed. I would highly recommend this company.

High quality hutch with thicker bars, good quality wood and a nice finish. Happy I avoided some of the cheaper options elsewhere as I want the rabbits to be well protected. Communication was fantastic throughout the process and the product arrived earlier than estimated. We also brought the cover which is also of a great quality. Instructions were great and they really have thought of everything with pro tips and advice like warming the cover up so it fits well but also supply extra strap whilst the cover finds its natural shape. We are very happy with the service and product. Highly recommend.
