I have been a Landlord for over 25 years and my experience with R A Bennett as managing and letting agents has been very disappointing. They are not very responsive to emails and seem to have too many people handling different aspects of the end to end process. They have arranged for repairs where they have not chosen the best contractors so that same work or repair has been done multiple times. The last two tenants they found were awful and I am required to spend thousands in repairs and redecorating costs.

Their representative turned up to value my property and didn’t appear to have any knowledge of the area and properties in it. She actually asked me what I thought my property was worth then proceeded to give me a very low valuation without even looking at the outside area.
Very unprofessional in my opinion.

We've just taken our house off the market with them in Cheltenham, five viewings in a year all time wasters, trying to get hold of them is a nightmare, got passed to the Evesham Office during Covid 19 and had to do a viewing myself which turned out to be another waste of time, and I shouldn't have done any viewings according to the Guidelines. Don't bother using them

WORCESTER BRANCH: BREACH OF CONFIDENTIALITY. This lady goes by social media by Eve ***** works at the Worcester branch and has done this twice now. Uploading pictures of her desk onto social media exposing client TELEPHONE NUMBERS & ADDRESSES. Totally unprofessional and downright shocking. I have photographic proof if RA Bennett would like to discuss this further.

My daughter was buying her first house, a new build and RA Bennetts, Evesham were the appointed agents.
Firstly, they didn't like the fact that we appointed our own mortgage adviser rather than use theirs, but I have NEVER experienced this..................they sold us the WRONG HOUSE!!! Yep we viewed the same house twice, and were shown the show home....never did anyone ever tell us we weren't buying that plot but the house next door instead. It got to the solicitor stage before it was picked up. Having looked through the windows of the house she WILL purchase (still to be finished) The kitchen spec is different, the tiles are different, the layout is in reverse. We've never been inside the house that she will ultimately own!

The team at Stratford Upon Avon went above and beyond all expectations. Although acting for their own client, they tried their very best to help push my own private sale through. I would not hesitate to recommend them and believe they are above average estate agents.

Can highly recommend Emma and the team at R A Bennett at Stratford. They went above and beyond what we could expect from an estate agents in pushing through our sale and purchase. The process was fraught as our buyers and our buyers buyers were with Purple Bricks. If there is one thing I've learned from this process it is that if you have a prospective buyer with Purple Bricks for your property DO NOT accept their offer if you want a smooth transaction. Emma and your team you are worth every penny we will be paying you for your services.

Can highly recommend Jenna and the team at the Evesham RA Bennett office. They worked tirelessly to sell my late-father's house and found buyers really quickly.

They dealt with a really quite horrible initial buyer with patience and grace, and immediately found me another when that buyer pulled out.

Their communication was excellent at all times and I was always kept in the loop, and despite being located 120 miles away in London, I always felt like everything was under control.

They are refreshingly genuine and don't lapse in to 'estate agent speak' or indulge in the usual blathering you get from some agents.

Tenants please beware!!!!! Do not use. Incompetent letting agents who don't return phone calls and emails. Have to be chased for everything. Had to do my own repairs in the end and now have lost half my deposit. Replaced broken blinds so that I had privacy whilst a tenant put back originals when I left and now have been charged hundreds of pounds for replacing them and for leaving a waterbutt in the garden!!!!!!!!! which I thought might be useful for the next tenant and which I offered to remove if new tenants didn't want it. Also have been accused of causing a small amount of ceiling paint to peel from the ceiling in the bathroom - no extractor fan in bathroom - after 18 months - wear and tear. Their property manager in Leamington claims to never visit properties himself - that says it all for you doesn't it?! They quite clearly favour dishonest landlords (and landladies!) because they obviously only care about their business. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT TENANTS - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

The Broadway office, headed by their Manager Mandy Headington and her team, is unarguably the most Proactive and Professional estate agents in this area.

My wife and I initially made contact with the Agency in June with the intention of selling our period Cottage in Broadway.
Mandy visited us soon after our enquiry. We were impressed with her knowledge, experience and understanding of the Cotswold’s market which reflected in her valuation of our property.

The processing of interested buyers, viewings and advising us on proceedable purchasers was straightforward, Bennett’s filtered all the relevant information and advised us accordingly, guiding us through to agreement of sale within two weeks after initialising their marketing process and then shortly afterwards to Exchange of Contracts.

We would recommend to anyone considering selling their home to make contact with Mandy at R A Bennett & Partners, Broadway.

My elderly mother (who suffers with dementia) contacted them for a valuation. They visited the property and promptly put it on the market WITHOUT HER PERMISSION. Apart from the fact that this is illegal, it is completely unethical and I’m disgusted that they are prepared to pull the wool over the eyes of a vulnerable old lady. I have been trying to get them to take it off the market for the last week and they are refusing point blank. As the other reviewer said, they are a bunch of cowboys.

Absolute bunch of unprofessional sales people. If I was selling a property I would be very unhappy, invariably too busy to pick up the phone. Didn't turn up for viewings or allegedly just late. Don't deserve to be in business. They just lost a cash buyer.

The agent is so important when it comes to marketing your house, obviously. So choose wisely. We originally went with another agent who was woeful and cost us several thousand pounds so I was a bit more 'informed' this time. Hands up R A Bennett & Partners at Evesham, Jenna and the team, were first class.
Obviously knowing of our original experience they may have something to prove but frankly I just want someone to be honest, informative and help sell my house. From the initial appointment when we were helped with a pricing strategy, you may not like their guide but they are the professionals, they were constantly in touch reassuring us and organising the photography and brochure details etc, setting up the 'perfect launch' weekend. We signed the contract and then the team went into overdrive, within 3 hours (it may have been 2 but I don't want to exagerrate) we had 2 viewings for the launch weekend. We didn't get that far....within that week we had 3 early viewings, 3 offers and sold to a genuine cash buyer who our previous agent had turned away!! And it didn't stop there as they hadn't finished the job. They held our hands right up to completion keeping us up to date on proceedings and helping with any queries. Clearly they are very proactive and jumped on the phones to contact their database hence the swiftness of the results. Now in fairness to our previous agent it may have been a better time to sell, a busier market, or just a better agent, much, much better. Oh and they sold it for several thousand pounds more as well, fluke? I Think not
