I felt right at home in the apartment…
I felt right at home in the apartment from the very first moment. Everything was spotless, tastefully decorated, and fully equipped – absolutely nothing was missing. The location is lively and charming, and the view was beautiful – truly a highlight. You can really tell that everything has been prepared with great care and attention. A place I can absolutely recommend – I’d love to come back!

Diseno exquisito y funcional,muchas comodidades, y exquisito lugar en Pleno Centro de Malaga, zona tranquila y muy centrica, edificio ubicado enfrente de un edificio oficial.(Organización once).
Al ser un tercero, tiene mucha Luz y no hay ruido, al ser el último Piso y no tener a ningun Vecino, solo un piso por planta.

Contemporary Loft in the Historic City Center
We have been constantly in touch with various Staff and Management, but we have not really made any progress in proper understanding. Nobody was rude, but neither prepared to take responsibility and “avert damage” from the company and to reduce our disappointment and anger.
That problems may arise is acknowledged. What is not recognized
on our side that one is stereotypically confronted with the almost stupid/idiotic statement “we would have been offered full reimbursement of costs”. Finally, it was known that we were on the plane when informed and the technical impossibility of leaving the aircraft at that time. Also our roommates already landed in Malaga airport!
What were we supposed to do on Christmas Eve without accommodation in Malaga?
In the end they found an accommodation (although at first we were told for some hours there was nothing available, apart a house in about 50 km distance). Not what we were looking for and what was expected for our holidays, but at least‚ “effort recognized”!
The flat was not fully usable because it was not accessible for a wheelchair of our niece. We had paid an extra fee for her stay and REMS was aware of the wheelchair. Consistency: we had to book a hotel for our niece for 2 nights, but it didn't really interest. The desired family unity could therefore not be realized.
To make matters worse, we had to move for the last three days!
Maybe we would have put up with that, but what we got offered
was outrageous! Not only that it was of poorest quality inferior and below every quality statement - it was also outside the center. For us as customers of an advanced age a disaster and to make matters worse there were also
road works and cabs could not drive into the road! We are happy to provide photos.
My criticism is by no means exaggerated! Finally, the staff were friendly, but not really helpful.
Horror on 24 Dezember 2024
Horror – Christmas with the Rems Agency in Málaga
Unfortunately, our Christmas spent with the help of the Rems agency in Málaga turned out to be a huge disappointment.
At the very last moment – already seated on the plane on December 24th – we received a message informing us that our reservation for a luxury apartment in the center of Málaga had been canceled. Most of our stay was filled with stressful phone calls, visits to the agency's office, and moving from one place to another – all during the Christmas holidays!
First, we were relocated to an apartment in the city center, which was acceptable but did not match the original promises. Then we were moved to the outskirts of the city – to a very dark basement apartment with a damaged ceiling and a faulty drain that required us to constantly mop up water from the floor (there was also no dishwasher).
We received a partial refund, but this did not include, among other things, the fact that due to a non-functioning elevator for people with disabilities (which the agency had been informed about in advance), our cousin had to stay in a hotel – without any compensation from the agency. Moreover, the company charged an additional fee for this person, which was also not refunded.
It was supposed to be a luxurious holiday, a family gathering with relatives arriving from three different countries. Unfortunately, the reality was far from what was promised.
Gestión deficiente, trato impersonal y pérdidas económicas pese a alta ocupación
Nuestra experiencia con esta empresa ha sido profundamente decepcionante y, además, un desgaste emocional continuo. Confiamos en ellos para gestionar nuestro apartamento turístico, esperando profesionalidad y transparencia, pero terminamos con pérdidas económicas a pesar de tener un índice de ocupación superior al 95%.
Cada vez que planteábamos nuestras inquietudes o desacuerdos, nos topábamos con respuestas automáticas y frías, como si estuviéramos hablando con máquinas en lugar de personas. Su trato impersonal y la falta de acompañamiento nos hicieron sentir completamente abandonados. Un ejemplo indignante fue cuando, sin consultarnos, decidieron bonificar a unos huéspedes porque la piscina comunitaria estaba cerrada, algo completamente habitual en esas fechas y el administrador de fincas había enviado un comunicado anunciándolo.
La falta de confianza nos llevó a revisar las facturas, y descubrimos errores graves, como el cobro de gastos pertenecientes a otro apartamento gestionado por ellos. Además, nos aseguraron un servicio de mantenimiento “integral” que supuestamente estaba incluido en el porcentaje de gestión, pero luego nos lo facturaron aparte con precios exorbitantes. Esto dejó claro que el coste del mantenimiento recaía exclusivamente en los propietarios, a pesar de sus promesas iniciales.
En definitiva, además de las pérdidas económicas, la relación con esta empresa nos generó un estrés constante. Su falta de transparencia, profesionalismo y humanidad nos han llevado a no recomendar sus servicios bajo ninguna circunstancia.

Poor customer service
We rented an appartment from Rems in Malaga. The appartment was fine except for 2 problems.
1. only one set of towels is provided for a 4 night stay and a request for additonal towels was ignored.
2. on night 3 the code to the appartment was changed so that we were locked out late in the evening. Rems do not provide an emergency contact number. While the problem was resolved there was no explanation or apology.

VISITORS TO MALAGA, BEWARE:
Malaga is a truly magnificent and cultured City. Within its rich and varied enticements, however, there are inevitable iniquities. None more so than REMS Letting Agency. My wife and I arrived at the apartment at number 15, Calle Arango at 10:30 pm and were immediately horror struck. Marketed by REMS through Airbnb, the gloomy, poorly maintained and dirty entrance vestibule was only the first clue. The notices on the wall posted by the Municipal Directorate for Social Housing raised alarm bells. Things got worse.
The security lock on the front door was hanging off. The sofa had every appearance of having been hauled off the rubbish tip: legs broken off; the back had been wedged upright using a metal chest and the wall. It had completely come adrift from the base. The perpendicular part to this piece of furniture had broken away from its neighbouring part, leaving a jagged metal bracket sticking up through the fabric, which was ripped open. The fabric covers were filthy with food stains, and appeared, and smelt, as if multiple episodes of sexual intercourse had taken place upon it. It carried a foul odour of decaying cheese. The shower drain was blocked, causing it to overflow into the room. The bedside lamps did not work and some of the electrical sockets were broken, leaving exposed mains cables in a highly dangerous and illegal condition. The curtains were streaked with dirty brown stains.
The following morning we vacated the apartment at the earliest opportunity and checked into another apartment in the heart of the historic centre. Later still we checked into the 5 star Vincci Hotel. Both were exquisite and yet both were markedly lower in price than Calle Arango. Of course we photographed every detailed deficiency before leaving. We still have these photos should anyone be interested. These looked like being unnecessary at the time, as Yasmine, the property manager agreed to meet me at the apartment later that day. She was visibly shocked when setting eyes on the apartments deplorable condition; appalled that her employment with Rems required her to sell such a thing to unsuspecting travellers. She went on record, describing the accommodation as” totally unacceptable.” She promised an inquiry and the restitution of funds.
Unfortunately for Yasmine, however well intentioned, she seemed not to have been aware of the greed of her boss Remy. Neither did she appear to be aware of the meaningless and superficial nature of her bosses often repeated mantra: “customer satisfaction is of paramount importance to REMS.” No inquiry took place. AirBnB informed us that they themselves would foot a refund of 60% because REMS would not agree to refund a single penny. They had our money and they were not going to part with it.
This miserable saga ended when Yasmine offered 50 euros if we would agree not to publicise our experience in any review. REMS is a grubby, dishonest clip joint who’s final desperate attempt to prevent the truth from surfacing was to offer a paltry bribe. And to cap it all, the apartment at number 15 Calle Arango went straight back on the market.
Should REMS attempt in whole, or in part, a denial of the above, I am able to produce photos and videos in evidence. I also have a voice recording of myself informing Yasmine, REMS property manager, of all the above faults, in person, at the address, on 2nd January 2024, at 7:30 PM. Her responses are equally clear.
BUYER BEWARE. STEER CLEAR OF REMS.

Ze vragen 250 euro waarborg terwijl in…
Ze vragen 250 euro waarborg terwijl in contract 200 staat. Ze bedanken je om dit te melden maar ze kunnen de 50 euro niet terug storten! Na het verblijf moet je weer zelf vragen waar de waarborg blijft!
Ze verhuren appartement in gebouw dat gerenoveerd wordt! Bezoekers moeten stil zijn na 11 u ‘s avonds maar dan heb je de bewoners nog niet gehoord!

Not a good experience with this…
Not a good experience with this company. The rental property was not as depicted in photos on Airbnb website. Vacated property next day - returned keys- only got partial refund -contacted them on a daily basis to request refund for four nights- 5 night stay in Malaga - stayed in REMS property ONE night! Staff unhelpful and disinterested.
