My motability vehicle was left with the dealer (Murreys now not Rogers)for service and MOT today. On arrival, it was found that the loan car was manual, not auto as arranged. Instead of having to rearrange, the young lady chased around and arranged an alternative automatic for me. Customer service at the highest level, and all with a smile. Thank you.
Purchased a vehicle from them and paid for a Lifeshine procedure to protect the bodywork for £399. Then I find that it was another company that did the procedure for £249. Requested a refund but was promptly told very rudely that they were not interested and to go away.Awful customer service and rude unhelpful staff. Rotten to the core company.
Gave my car for a major service today morning which costs around £299. I also requested them to check my interior light which was not working, android auto which was automatically shutting off after some time of use, an engine management light which needed a diagnostic check.
In the evening i gone to collect the car and the advisor said service is done, they didn't had the tool to change the interior light, nothing about android auto, quoted a £1,500 bil in a piece of paper saying a sensor needs replacement. I asked them for a diagnostic report and ge refused it and said he is not allowed to do so.. i dont understand why they haven't gave a report for the diagostic check which cost me £120...
Very bad service.. please don't ever go to the showroom..

I purchased a brand new Mitsubishi from Rodger’s about 4 years ago. Great reliable economical 4x4.
I have never had any issues with servicing of the car or quality of the customer care.
So 4 years later, I decided to buy a brand new Kia Sportage, it arrived well before its estimated delivery date, and has exceeded my expectations, superb car with all the tech you get on a luxury brand car, and a 7 year warranty.
I again dealt with Alex King, the sales executive who sold me the Mitsubishi. Superb trouble free process for the Kia, from putting the deposit down to completing the paperwork today.
Faultless service.
One star is even too much for this atrocious company. I cannot believe that they have had my car for 5 months!!! I have phoned and phoned almost 60 times but keep getting fobbed off and lied to. They NEVER return the call. Three of their staff have informed me that an oil pump failure caused the engine to seize on my four year old car but apparently they have been waiting for parts. Unbelievable that parts can take 5 months!!!!!! I am at my wits end and seriously considering taking legal action or contacting BBC's Watchdog.

The worst experience I have had buying a car.
They promised to fix an obvious rattling sound before delivering the car. They drove it to me despite the rattle still existing. I made the mistake of not checking before they left and then spent 8 weeks going back and forth as they then claimed they had fixed the problem and telling me that what I was hearing simply didn't exist.
The most bizarre part of all this is that their technicians repeatedly refused to let me show them where the problem was coming from. In the end I had to tell them that I was going back to further my complaint with Hyundai whilst emphasising that I had taken the car to another garage who without charge let me show them where the problem was coming from. They couldn't believe that any company would be so obstructive.
Incredibly - on one occasion their sales team agreed to book the car back in and instructed the repairs team to do this. when the sales manager sent me over to the repairs team to re-book the car the staff member refused! So it seems that the sales and repairs team did not have a great relationship either and one was prepared to undermine the other in front of a customer.
In the meantime, I also got a text advising me that I needed to leave positive feedback and to give the sale rep 10 out ot 10!
On the third occasion of returning to the garage having repeatedly refused to accept their advice that the problem I was noticing didn't exist, I refused to take it back unless their technician sat in the car with me. After 8 weeks they finally let me show them the problem and they decided it was a loose bolt rolling around and they subsequently found a loose bolt in the console.
This is exactly what I told them it was at the start.
After 2 months of hassle and hire cars, no one came over when I got my car back to apologise for all the stress and no compensation was offered for the stress and inconvenience. Appalling.
I was going to buy a new car from this company from the kio dealership at Yealmpton. To say they let me down was an understatement. After paying a deposit and signing a finance agreement they let me down I would never buy from them in the future. In fairness they returned my deposit but only after I complained and someone senior became involved. In short their customer service disappointed me considerably
This is the first time I have used Rodgers Hyundai in Plymouth for my first service the service was completed very quickly the staff were very friendly and helpful I was really impressed I could not ask for more.
Very bad experience. Failed to inform me that the car’s front bonnet had been resprayed even though it was being delivered to Glasgow (490miles away). Upon querying it they said that the 1 year old £24k car had been resprayed for me to get rid of the chips and scratches. This was an obvious lie as the front bonnet was still full of chips and scratches so the respray must have been done a few months ago and for a different reason. I had to pay a lot of money to have the Kia Niro ev transported back for a refund.
Avoid a distant sale with this company for sure!

Sold us a car with overstated specifications that it just does not have. When we pointed out several faults on the car after only 2 months, were told they couldn't find any after holding the car for almost two days. They were supposed to carry out a 140 point check upon sale. Very disappointed with this company.
