Steve Williams at Mansfield Ron Brooks, is so amazing. Helpful throughtout the whole process from the very first phone call to the car delivery arrangement. He is honest and always willing to do extra miles to make us happy and panic free. Would definitely recommend him to my friends if anyone wants to buy a Toyota car. Many thanks again, Steve.

I received an excellent service from Ron Brooks, Ilkeston when purchasing a second hand car. Car a competitive price, well valeted, in excellent condition and salesperson - Garrie was very helpful and answered all queries and kept in touch with me from enquiries, test drives to after sales. Additional services were promoted but no pressure at all to purchase them.

Don't buy Suzuki car from RonBrooks Mansfield. Untrusted Service terms in the contract of warranty.

Warranty Contract: 1SAUCA26003262434 which is apparently mentioned the Benefit include once "MOT service" when the MOT expired. So I have asked the salesman how could use this service because I living far from Mansfield Nottinghamshire as I living in South East London. They told I could claim the fund after the MOT done by a VAT registered garage nearby my living place. I trusted and bought the car at last July 2022 but finally disappointed last week.

I done the MOT at another Suzuki approved garage "WLMG" last week and passed the MOT. When I contact Mansfield Service team for the MOT fee claim. They refused to fulfill the pledge in the contract term to proceed my claim, I have emailed them many times for 3 weeks but they told me to dealt with the garage WLMG myself.

Buying a used car was made to feel simple and trouble free. Matthew made himself available to answer any queries and guided me through the cay buying process. I was also not given the hard sell on the optional add ons (which I did not want or get). When I arrived to pick up the car, the meet and greet lady (sorry I did not get her name) made me feel very welcome.
The car was outside ready and waiting when I arrived so this meant the transaction went by quickly and smoothly.
It is still early days as I only bought the car on the 15th June but so far so good so I can only base this review on that. Hopefully things continue well and my experience remains positive. I am the sort of person who likes to give more time before posting something, so if my experience does change I would look to either amend this review or leave another more reflective review based on a future experience with my purchase.

Deciding to get our latest car from Ron Brooks at Ilkeston is one of our best decisions after having been to various car dealers. Neil was quite welcoming and very accommodating. He sorted everything I asked for even after the purchase. Nothing was too much effort for him. James took me for a test drive which gave me confidence in driving an automatic car. I always had a manual car before. The office has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. I normally don't give reviews but this is worth giving one. Thanks Neil and co.

I recently purchased a Mazda travelling from Newcastle to Mansfield but unfortunately the spare wheel kit was missing when I got home. The issue was dealt with very quickly and collected new kit from Euro parts after a couple of days so regards to Craig and Zain . Gilbert Brooman

I was booked in for a test drive for the Toyota CHR GR Sport my Hubby saw this car on the forecourt and booked me in when I went on the day of my test I was met by Mark Hicklin he was very approachable and friendly he shook my hand and took me out on my test drive we were out for a good 40 minutes there was no rush he told me all about the car as I had never had a car from Toyota before this was all new to me as I’ve driven range rovers previous to this I told him about why I was looking to change what I had been driving and about a really bad experience with my last car which was in the garage for 2 months out of 3 months that I had this from Evans Halshaw and the terrible after service I had received from them during the process
Mark immediately put my mind at rest and made sure I knew everything about this car everything down to how it worked the mpg how much it was to tax after the test drive we went around the car and a couple of very small marks were on the paintwork mark told me these would be done in the garage if I decided I wanted the car at this point I had already decided this was the car for me every point down to a small bit of finance was explained to me I went in to the sales room and was offered a coffee and I sat down with mark and he explained everything to me my car was all prepped and ready for me the next day as mark was aware I didn’t have a car due to my other car going back for a refund at the garage to say the service was exceptional was an understatement it was awesome after my previous experience I was so impressed on the day of pick up I was told if I needed anything not to hesitate to contact Mark I have had many cars over the years but the experience with Toyota and especially Mark has impressed me no end I will not hesitate to go back in the future when I look at renewing this car and the first person I will look for to help me will be Mark and will not hesitate to recommend him to any of my friends.

I can't thank Zach highly enough, no pushy sales techniques, it was like talking to a friend. Even at vehicle handover, it wasn't "here's your car, there go, thank you very much", he made it very obvious he was there for us in the future. The biggest thing for me, and it feels fairly obvious to say... is that he treated me like a 'normal' person. Having recently become disabled, I've seen both sides of how disabled people can be treated, and it was really nice to see that I was treated like a 'normal' person. I unfortunately suffered a rare spinal cord injury that paralysed me from the waist down instantly, and I have spent the last 18 months trying to battle back to normality. Unfortunately I won't get there, but I wasn't treated any differently that if i had. Everyone we spoke to at Ron Brooks was great, but I would really highly recommend going and asking for Zach, I really hope he is still there when we look at our next new car, because he is a credit to the business, and credit goes to the business too, can't recommend enough. Go to Ron Brooks, and remember to ask for Zach! People nowadays have done their homework, they don't need pushy salesman, they just need info, and lots of that was given. No question was too much trouble, and I ask a lot! Peugeot couldn't care less when I couldn't get in the first car we looked at, Ron Brooks Suzuki couldn't have been more helpful. I was driving down to view a car as arranged the day before and confirmed appointment on the same day (15/04/23) with a view to buy when I received an email to say they had sold to someone else. Nobody rung or contacted me to ask if I wanted to put a deposit down to take it off sale. There was no regard whatsoever for my existing appointment.
I had been in negotiations the day before (14/04/23) and was informed at 4.30pm that day that the car had been priced wrong and would be going up by £1000 the next day unless I bought it there and then without either seeing it or test driving the car. The price was then changed on the Autotrader site that night to a price £1000 higher. Not the best way to sell a car or gain trust and I feel that the car was never going to be sold to me especially at the previously agreed price. When challenged it was confirmed that it had sold to someone who walked into the dealership that morning. I assume this was at the new £1000 higher price. No surprise then that they didn't want to honour my appointment based on the previous price and the price the car had been for the previous 7 days.
Disgusting way to treat a potential customer. Jason and Toby need some retraining with regards to customer service and etiquette. Very amateur and blatant disregard for prior arrangements.
I will go elsewhere and hopefully others will too. I would rather deal with people who I can trust.
A shocking way to conduct a sale.

The worst car buying experience I have ever had, lazy & indifferent salesman, was sarcastic to me when I got the name of the car incorrect. Bombarded me with a mountain of paperwork by email, at least 50 unnecessary pages! They couldn't even fix the number plate correctly level & in the middle! I certainly will never go back there again.

Selling a car we were due to view before our 11am appointment this morning was not great, especially as I had to travel from derby to Mansfield with my disabled mum and dad (who wanted to view the car). A simple phone call would have sorted all this out before hand, but I would have thought that upholding a viewing appointment would have been customer priority especially knowing the distance we were coming. seems that a quick sale and pocketing the money takes priority.

A VERY BIG THANKYOU TO STEVE WILLIAMS FOR HIS EXCELLENT SERVICE AS HE FOUND ME A CAR WITH THE SPECIFICATION THAT I HAD WISHED FOR.
THERE WAS NOTHING AVAILABLE AT THAT TIME (JULY 2022) HAVING BEEN OUT ON A TEST RUN WHICH CONFIRMED WHAT I WANTED, BUT EVENTUALLY IN EARLY DECEMBER STEVE NOTIFIED ME THAT MY DREAM CAR WAS AVAILABLE.
WHEN SEEN THE CAR WAS IMMACULATE AND EVERYTHING THAT STEVE HAD PROMISED.
STEVE ACCOMPANIED ME ON A TEST RUN FOR ME TO FAMILIARISE MYSELF WITH THE CONTROLS AND AFTER DRIVING HOME HE RANG TO CHECK THAT I HAD ARRIVED HOME SAFELY.
STEVE HAS EVEN OFFERED TO ACCOMPANY ME TO FAMILIARISE MYSELF WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL AND ANYTHING ELSE I MAY BE UNSURE OF AT A LATER DATE.

A big thank to Mark Hicklin at Mansfield from the minute we walked in garage he delivered an amazing service. He was helpful and informative throughout the purchase in short it was a swift purchase. He took me and my husband for a long drive to test drive the car. On collection after 2 days, he picked me from the train station. The car looked brand new the valeting team did a good job. ln addition, the car had fuel l managed to get home which 70-80 miles away from Mansfield. Mark rang to check if l had arrived home safely. The whole team at Mansfield was friendly and welcoming. Thank you Mark for first the class service.

My sister visited ron brooks toyota ilkeston for test drive a 09 toyota aygo on 24th september 2022, she paid GBP500 deposit to buy it. The sales consultant did not provide her with the T&C and order forms after payment is made. At that time she didn't notice the deposit is refundable or not.

Two days later, my sister decided to buy another toyota approved car in wigan, therefore she requested a refund of deposit from ron brooks ilkeston. The sales consultant told my sister that the deposit was non-refundable. While i asked two toyota dealers (one in wigan and one in nottingham), both said that in this case the deposit shall be refunded. Therefore, i helped my sister to email and use their online chating to request a refund from 28 september 2022 onwards. More than a week the dealer/sales consultant did not give any responds to us.

This is a really bad shopping experience and already give much pressures to my sister as a consumer.

Therefore, i write this comment and wish the company can alert and provide some positive feedback.
