If it were allowed I would give you zero stars. Every element of the process of taking our car insurance was defective. I have so far spent about an hour on the phone to you and the issues remain unresolved. Your chat function is useless. I will itemise the issues : no automatic email was sent confirming the policy ; the policy does not appear in the MySaga account ; remarkably, because it is a new policy, it cannot be added manually ; the relevant error message was not known by the third person I spoke to on this matter ; no hard copy of the policy has been received; your website suppresses the fact that a third party must be contacted to resolve some of these issues ; as part of the policy I pay for RAC recovery, I have not been informed how I can contact the RAC in this respect.
I look forward to your response and action on these points.

Do not purchase Saga car insurance. Nearly two and a half later still waiting for a settlement for a near fatal no fault accident. Both my self and my wife are over 70 and wonder if Saga are waiting for us to die .

Put the price up by £20 between quoting and paying with no explanation.
UPDATE: After complaining by phone and sending Saga proof of the original quote, I had to chase again a week later as I had no response. Two days later they have emailed me to say that they do, on occasion change the quotes. So, you cannot trust any quote from Saga - it is a waste of time them giving quotes if they are not prepared to honour them. If they give you a good price in advance, my advice is to pay for it there and then. On this basis I have adjusted my star rating to 1 star. Shame on you Saga.

Professional, efficient and above all client/user friendly.
I took out health insurance with Saga. I protected my NCD. Renewal was nearly £300 more.
I didn't claim off the policy only used the drs via video call once. I wanted to have some counselling as I was going through a tough time.
The counselling doesn't affect the policy if claimed its a wellbeing extra.
I contacted the Saga customer service I was told that claiming the counselling would effect my policy claim. I was told to contact Bupa as they are the underwriting of the health insurance.
I was told the counselling wouldn't effect my policy.
However, I would have to complete a treatment form and my GP had to complete it.
I understand that things need to be put in place. But as the counselling was an extra wellbeing option and your not claiming off your health insurance, as a claim .
Getting an appt at the GP is a non existence. Then waiting for the form to be completed. Then paying a fee which can be claimed back.
Being under 😩 stress, having to do the above stressed me out even more.
This is why I took private health insurance to avoid contacting the GP, as you can't get appointments.
If I was claiming for a medical condition they needed to check if I had previously had that condition fair enough.
The other issue arised you had to ask Saga customer services some information then Bupa for other information, this caused some confusion.
Tbh if I had to claim I was wondering 🤔 what issues I would of come across.
Definitely wouldn't get health insurance with Saga again.
To put the renewal up £300 pounds was the last straw.

I have been with SAGA for 2 years, always had great service and competitive car insurance prices. This year they want £860, I went elsewhere for £310. I will no longer use SAGA for any insurance cover, home/travel/car.

I’m not impressed with Saga’s travel insurance.
I received an email yesterday at 9:04am with a link to register my flight in order to be eligible for delayed flight insurance. I only looked at the email today at12:00 and followed the link to register only to find that you have to register 24 hours in advance. My flight is at 07:00 tomorrow so I have missed the deadline. They should have sent the email a few days earlier, not less than 48 hours before my flight…. or better still they could have asked for my flight details at the time of taking out the insurance.
At least I was able to register the return flight in 1 weeks time.
Let’s hope my flight tomorrow is not delayed 🙏

I set automatically renewal to NO. My policy documents confirmed this action. I still received email stating that my renewal would continue. I telephoned three times to confirm I did not wish to renew. I was told that payment wouldn't be taken, despite the emails I had received. Today the payment was still taken.
IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO STOP AUTO RENEW PAYMENTS.

Yeah it’s great for over 50 but you need a computer degree to get anywhere with them

I have just renewed my car insurance with SAGA and the customer service was above and beyond. I spoke to an advisor called Victoria and the insurance was quite complicated but she was able to address all of my worries. It felt like old school when in the day you could speak to someone who cares. Well done Saga.
Their home insurance is great as well. I really wouldn’t use any other insurance companies
