Je suis bien évidemment partie me faire rembourser.

Beware of Sakare in Bond Street
My experience today was very similar to what most other reviewers are describing. I was walking down Bond street in London and was stopped to be offered free samples. So far, there was nothing particularly unusual about this and I ignored the sales person initially, as I was wearing headphones. I was surprised when he started to follow me down the street insisting I give him attention. Even though I accepted the free sample at that point and wanted to continue walking, he started to chase after me. Trying to be polite, I stopped and removed my headphones to hear him out and he lured me into the store (big mistake). He offered me a demo and a free test of the salt scrub, body butter and peeling gel to get a real feel of how 'good' they are etc. Of course, the conversation then led to the facial serum and the nail kit. Offered it all for £185 (basically, he said if I buy the face serum for that price, then everything else will be a free gift). I thought it sounded like a decent deal for all those items so I agreed (as it's Christmas, I was also in the mood of buying things I don't really need more readily). I'd never heard of Sakare before and the products he seemed to be packing at the checkout appeared similar to what he used for the demo, so I didn't pay too much attention. As expected, he was being very charming, somewhat polite but did ask some rather personal and unprofessional questions. In any case, the bag I was given was a plain brown unbranded bag (said they didn't have any branded ones for the size of the box he needed to put inside). He then started to explain about some miraculous eye treatment cream and showed me all these 'before' and 'after' photos of people. I didn't look impressed and said I don't need such a product, so he gave up. As I left the store, I had a funny feeling about the entire experience and decided to google 'Sakare'. Then all these reviews came up and I was horrified. I walked back into the store and asked to speak to the sales person in private. He seemed concerned but remained calm and polite. I showed him these reviews and asked for more details and clarifications as to what it was that he just sold to me (I still hadn't looked into the bag). He had me scan a QR code of Sakare, insisted they are a legit business, said that if they were dodgy they wouldn't be able to operate in Bond street etc. Unbelievably, he continued to mislead me into thinking that the products in the bag were Sakare. I didn't want to make a bigger fuss at that point, so I left. Obviously, as I discovered later when I got home and opened the box in the bag, the products are mostly from Gratiae and one item is from Soap & Co. I searched and found all these items individually on Amazon USA (as they aren't available on the UK store). After some quick calculations, the overall collective cost is similar to what I paid (though the price per item on the receipt is significantly inflated to exaggerate the impression of a large discount, when this is not actually the case). I am now left feeling like a victim of fraud and unexcited about my purchase. This company is clearly not selling beauty products responsibly; and they must be violating trading standards through their 'aggressive selling' and misleading information. I will consider reporting them.

Do not Part with money.. SCAM
This store I visited in Covent Garden.
They use a very hard sell.
Sometimes up to 3 staff waiting to lure you into store with their hard sell.
Became a victim of this Shop you feel you can’t not go in as their sales people are extremely pushy, If your having an off day or vulnerable you will become an easy target.
Once in the shop after being coaxed you feel you can’t say no after being given a sample, I was convinced to part with money for a mail buffer and hand cream set for £34 .
The salesman demonstrated it on my nails as magic his words and shined my nail telling me the shine would last at least 2 weeks !.. sold as a miracle product producing exceptional shine.
I was taken in by the constant hard sell and felt after leaving the store and returning home I may have been duped.
Once home to my disappointment did not get the level of shine I was assured off in fact a cheap nail buffer would have produced the same effect.
I returned the item less than a week after purchase I had also tried a tiny bit of the Handcream which gave a slight burning tingling feeling I’m also very concerned about the dangers of skin damage using these products and was greeted by the Manager who told me I couldn’t have a refund as product was opened how I was supposed to use the product without opening it im unsure of!. She did this with a grin on her face and a knowing smirk.
She proceeded to tell me various new facts about levels of keratin producing different results in people and that even perhaps her demonstration was better than her colleague.
The effect was the same she was adamant she wouldn’t refund although product wasn’t fit for purpose . She then proceeded to tell me I would have to go through website to get a refund knowing it wouldn’t be successful as was the case.
I feel this shop and company work on hard selling and being pushy this is shown the way they have a lot of staff standing outside being quite pushy trying to get people in offering samples.
Please do not enter this shop and walk straight past do not be taken in by their hard sell and part with your money.
Their store is very brightly lit and adds to the shine produced when demonstrating.
Their claims are different depending on which member of staff you speak to.
I have contacted them again after getting consumer advice and contacting Trading Standards but they have chosen to ignore my further request for a refund although my consumer rights state I should receive one and also informed me I had passed the 28 day refund period although I retuned product within a week. Rather than respond to my complaint they requested my email and have now had the nerve to use it to send me marketing emails. They do not take complaints seriously including being reported to Trading Standards. They clearly view customers they scam as a joke !
My advice is stay clear of this shop and do not stop to take samples thus being then lured in to be given hard sell and being duped into parting with your money
Keep on walking straight past!
SCAM in Bond Street SAKARE
Very poor customer service received in Bond Street by an older aged lady with blonde hair in a bun.
I was passing by when I was stopped to accept a small sample sachet of face lotion by this lady. To be polite I accepted the lotion, and she asked me if I liked maintaining natural nails. Before I could say anything, she asked me to follow in so she can show me something. To be polite I followed through. She showed me a nail care set which consisted of a nail buffer, hand creams and a cuticle cream. The nail kit did not appeal to me, it seemed the standard. I told the lady I would like to look into this as I didn’t know the brand well and won’t be buying today. The lady then became very pushy and aggressive, told me what’s there to look into, it’s not like you’re buying an apartment.
No store should have a sales rep who speaks like this to their customers. This lady was extremely rude with very poor customer service skills, she should be fired!
The whole thing is a total scam, clearly shows how desperate they are for the money than actually selling genuine goods.
I am glad I came on here to also find others who’ve experienced similar situation as me, looks like I wasn’t the only one!

AVOID- 2nd degree burns!!!! Reporting for fraud
If I could give 0 stars I would!
Feel like I’ve just been mugged. Just wandered into the store In Covent Garden and was literally tag-teamed.
I wanted to buy a luxury gift for my disabled mother. I was in a hurry and wanted to review the products first. But I swear they have a signal blocker in the shop!
I parted with 75 quid of my very hard earned money as I had to get the train after a very long day in a very long meeting.
I took one of the products out of the SEALED bag once my train back to Essex was moving. To my horror I see that the products are nothing like the ones on the website. In fact not even available!!
Then I get a sinking feeling running through the reviews :(
So instead of feeling happy with a gift for my poor mum I realise for the first time in my life I’ve been conned and press Ganged into buying snake oil!!
Why is this company allowed to trade in the prestigious Neil’s Yard?!
I will be contacting trading standards as the ‘serum’ this mugger played under my EYES began to BURN on the way home!!! I dread to think what’s in it, but I have been left with red, scaly burning skin! Surely it’s illegal
The products are not even SAKARE!
Soap & Co, not even a high end product. The 75 quid a worth of products on Amazon actually come to under 30!!
I want refund at least, I may sue, not sure yet!!
This is fraud at its worst !!

Clearly a Scam Company
My experience wasn't too bad, but seeing these reviews I feel I dodged a huge bullet and largely only cos I'm not interested in beauty products/luxury brands.
I accepted a small sample sachet of face lotion, and the sales rep excitedly invited me in to try something. I wasn't too sure but to be polite went in. She showed me the nail buffer which I was impressed by, but am not bothered about nail treatments so said thanks and left. She was not aggressive nor pushy when she realised I wasn't buying, but I also didn't linger after saying no.
Sadly these reviews are usually too late, I googled the company once I left and couldn't find them so if I had been tricked I would've joined the ranks of angry customers. Now I know to be wary!

very saddening. scam.
I was originally not going to enter this place, but since my partner is a very caring sweet man he gave the benefit of the doubt to the man who was waiting outside of the shop luring people in. Neither of us are in the financial situation to get scammed that's why it hurts quite a lot, the staff member that was serving and trying to get us to buy these products said he was the CEO of the company apparently and was going to give us 2 products for free for the price of one of their other product that was 75 pounds. He was trying to make It out as this massive favor for us and that point I don't know what it was but something just felt really off to me and I think we both felt as if we couldn't of just left.
Theres also no indication that these products are made from their own company. As he was explaining that the salt scrub was imported from Japan. So many fake details and information that is no where to be found on any of the packaging.
We genuinely thought we were helping a business out because it seemed like all he wanted was us to recommend the products. We were wrong it doing so.

Avoid this store
Avoid this store, purchased the salt scrub and body butter and a facial peel all for £75.00 when I researched the products, they weren't even sold on their company website, but could be found on Amazon for £12.00 each! What a scam. There salesmen are very charming but do not be fooled. Especially the Bond Street store. Just keep walking, avoid eye contact.
Very quick to give a refund.

Ask for a refund.
Like others I was led to believe I was buying Sakare products in Shepherds Bush Westfields, but after reading the reviews I checked my bag and saw that wasn't the case. However I went right back to the sellers and was given a full cash refund with minimal fuss.

puffiness treatment
I purchased the puffiness treatment today from Cristian. He did me a very good deal as I would not have paid £325 for it. On my way home from London a guy that served me in a restaurant in Paddington station said I looked amazing. I’ll be using that product daily now!!!

A fuir

I had a good chat with John in Bond St - I’m a musician and he was very good at finding me a deal in these tough times. He tried out some products on me and they are superb. I bought some of the things he demonstrated. We had a hood laugh and I will return when I win the lotto.
Good vibes

The same experience as many others :(
I've been sold products that aren't Sakare i.e. Mineral Peeling Gel from Soap & Co and Premier Dead Sea serum that wasn't the one I was showed in the shop and led to believe I was buying at the New Bond Street store today. So I'm going to attempt to get my money back with the help of WHICH? as I'm a member. I'll let you know how I get on...
Update
....So, I received a prompt reply to my email sent to Sakare, saying "We, like many other companies sell 3rd party brands within our range therefore, we do apologise if this has caused any confusion" and stating that I could return the products to the store "in an unopened or as bought condition" for a full refund. I did this. The manager Andre carried out the refund, checking all the products. He believed 3 of the products had been opened (they hadn't by me!) but luckily 2 of them were either still sealed in some way or the pump hadn't been activated. I was given a refund of £146.67 rather than the full amount of £165 i.e. I wasn't refunded for a body butter where the seal had been damaged, even though that fitted their criterion of being in "as bought" condition. I walked away from the experience £18.33 lighter (plus return travel to central London) and with lessons learned.
