I purchased a Saniflo macerator four years ago, after the one before stopped working. I only bought it because of their five year warranty. There was an issue with it two years ago which they fixed under the warranty. It stopped working again and I made a warranty claim. This time, they refused to honour the warranty on the basis that it had not been fitted according to their specifications, but they will not provide details of the remedial work required. No mention of this when they came around the first time. I have given up on this rubbish company and their rubbish product. Better to but a cheaper product. I do not trust this company any more and felt it important to warn the public of my experience.

Their technical advice is terrible.

I’m a maintenance plumbing & heating engineer (25 years experience). You can purchase different brands and they are just as robust.

They have lost my custom for the sake of a £30 part👍🏻 I Previously advised customers to use their products and supplied and fitted well over 100 of their units. When it comes to parts it’s pointless asking advice from the tech team. Buy a cheaper alternative with good reviews.

I telephoned Saniflo for some technical advice as I am due to redo my loft bathroom, which has a Saniflo unit (which has been excellent, incidentally). I spoke to Lucas, who was polite, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. He answered all my technical questions and gave me very useful advice. All for free, as there is no direct financial benefit to the company, from which I cannot buy directly. Top marks to Saniflo and especially Lucas - thank you

Customer support appalling
I purchased this Saniflo on 22nd April to replace my old macerator. I Booked my plumber for 3rd May. He removed my old macerator & then assembled the Saniflo ready to install. It was soon obvious that the non return valve was missing from the contents. I immediately Contacted Saniflo & was told that they don't keep spares but would order the part & send it directly to my address within 2/4 weeks. Now 2 months & no sign of it, leaving me with no downstairs toilet. Thankfully my plumber has stayed in touch throughout & has come up trumps with a used non return valve rescued from a Saniflo Macerator with a faulty motor that he has removed,cleaned, & will fit tomorrow (at my expense of course) SANIFLO YOU ARE A DISGRACE

Don't worry, it's fine, you can carry on treating customers in this fashion because no one will read the appalling way Saniflo have treated one of their customers because Screwfix have refused to print it. It is obvious that unless you give 5* ratings & say good things about the products they sell they will not print the review.

I have had the misfortune of having a saniflow the cable grommet didn’t fit. Trip outs and brown water through the sealing. Macerator to toilet rubber doesn’t fit. Cushion lid rubber dumped on top upside down while did do the trick won’t fit. Diaphragm temperamental. Saniflow do give consistent opportunity to get aquatinted with your guests poo

Saniflo's products are good, not amazing. But when things go wrong, they are very unimpressive. Recently, one Saniflo (£600) was dead on arrival. They tried everything to make me have an engineer visit, with some slippery excuse about it being unboxed -- despite obv never having been used. I refused. Returned it to the retailer by mail and Amazon refunded me.

And just now a shower saniflo failed. The soonest any of their 'approved suppliers' would come was in a week, or didn't answer, or generally wasted my time. I see a Sanilo fail as equivalent to a boiler fail. The repair needs to be FAST... not whenever, or telling some nonsense about regs requiring a second bathroom. There was a lame casual attitude to the urgency, and no rapid solution.

So I paid £140 for an issue covered by warranty that took 20 mins to fix without needing parts. (A part of the saniflo had broken off and jammed the motor). I'm entirely unimpressed with Saniflo and will try a different brand in future.

Absolutely zero customer service once you've ordered. I bought a replacement macerator blade which was supplied with missing parts and so I needed to return it. I've tried phoning and emailing to return it and get a refund but am constantly ignored, so have no means of getting my money back (expensive as well!). Would not recommend to anyone, avoid at all costs.

Had a issue with a Saniflo macerator which was installed 6 months ago and still under warranty. Called one of the approved engineers to come out to fix it. He demanded my credit card details before he would come out stating it would be £130 for half an hour if the fix was not covered under the warranty. That should have rung alarm bells!! But I believed we had a valid warranty so agreed. As soon as he arrived he found a reason it was not covered. Even though it was a direct replacement for one that had been working well for many years he stated it had not been installed with the correct angle of bend in one of the pipes!! We had not changed any of the original pipework installation. It was going to cost £30 for every extra 30 mins so we decided to ask him to leave. In the time he was there he removed the lid to the macerator and managed to stretch the seal so much that it would no longer go back on!! So it cost me £130 to find out the warranty was useless and the engineer put us in a worse position that before he arrived. Moral of the story is to pay an approved Saniflo engineer to install the product in the first place (well over £1000) otherwise they will find a reason to invalidate the warranty if it goes wrong!

There's only one person in the UK doing any work and I'm so glad there is!

He is the Golden Child better known as David Davis the approved engineer from Saniflo world. You'll know that you're in his good company because he is dedicated and professional and a straight shooter that will chase the bandits out of town who are just cowboys wanting a fist full of dollars and pulling a fast one for a few dollars more!

wished id seen how bad they are before purchasing a masserator toilet that doesnt work!! 550 quid down the drain literally as they wont repair it!! avoid at all costs!!

They did not carry on the job properly their diagnose was completely wrong, as I was not sure of their work I then went to get a second opinion second opinion.
As a result the second engineer told me something completely different that was wrong with the saniflo system than what Pam and Paul say.

He fixed it! And I have safe lots of money

As it would have cost me £1200 instead with Pam and Paul have I have gone ahead with them.

I paid instead £180 to repair the saniflo

However Pam and Paul they charge me £150 for nothing and to tell me something that was not right or correct!
Please avoid this company

Pumpmaster came and replaced our old saniflo which was 10 years old. They did a good job and will be back to service it in 2 or 3 years.

Do not trust these guys. Zero customer service once the unit is bought. All online customer service forms return a 403 error. All other means to contact them are ignored. Shouldn’t be allowed to operate in the U.K. Never experienced anything like this. Reprehensible company. Avoid avoid avoid.

Poor customer service, the product it self is a scam don’t trust their warranty. I regret purchasing their product.

Saniflo Engineer Acorn from Braunston Leicester - also cover London. They fitted a new Saniflow unit as they claimed the motor had gone. It was £925 for a replacement that took 1.5 hours! They said the floor was wet so the toilet couldnt be siliconed down. I said i would dry it. After he had gone i realised he had not taken up the old white silicon and used the incorrect clear silicon (too soft) so the toilet wobbles. It will all have to come off again. He left the electrical cord just hanging across the wetroom floor. I rang them to give them a chance to correct but they werent interested and said they had run out of the correct silicone. I wont be using them again

Andy - the local Saniflo Engineer for Milton Keynes, was very helpful and confident. He resolved and restored the Saniflo Mascerator within 24 hours of making the the call.

So in 2019, I needed two macerators, one for a washing machine and sink and one for a bathroom (toilet, sink and hand basin). Saniflo engineer quoting made a huge deal out of Saniflo "best in the business, the only company that guarantee their machines for five years".

A little over three years later, the bathroom macerator has gone. Within warranty I hear you saying. Yes, I think. Time for Saniflo to step up.

I make the call, first thing I'm told "oh, have you had it serviced regularly?", I respond "I specifically recall the installer telling me that if it ain't broke, don't fix it". I'm then asked to send pictures of my installation, I send pictures and, guess what Saniflo then say " I'm sorry but your installation invalidates the warranty".

My review here is a warning to all. The fact that Saniflo "stands by its macerators with a warranty" is absolutely a farce because if you're unfortunate to find yourself needing to claim, you'll find, like I did, that the warranty provided by Saniflo is less useful than a teapot made from chocolate.

Don't rely on anything more than the 12 months statutory protection.

The warranty is worthless.

I bought a shower pod for £499 (Kinedo Constort 815x815mm Shower Pod). It was poor quality given its price but it appeared to do the job and having bought it online it was difficult to return. Unfortunately, the tray section cracked around the drain hole when it was being cleaned and rendered it unusable. It even went into holes in places. As it was less than a year old I contacted the company. Instead of just replacing the tray section as most reputable companies would do I am now having to argue my case. Poor service and quality. I will now be avoiding Showerstoyou and Saniflo. #269902

The one star is for the extortionate phone charge of over £3 to call the repair centre when my nearly new saniflo went faulty! And to add insult to injury I had to call them twice as they gave me a local engineers number that didn't even exist!😡
