Absolutely fantastic customer care. Many companies say their customer care is good but the proofs in the pudding and I couldn’t be more impressed by Shackletons who sent out missing parts for our table next day delivery. The lady I spoke to was very helpful, rang me back within an hour, and got the job done with no fuss. Excellent.

From the person I spoke to by phone to give me product advice, to the on-line team right through to the delivery company they choose to use: everything was perfect.

We recently purchased a dining room table and chairs. Unfortunately, the table and bench chairs together were not the right fit for our space. We contacted customer service and Linzi dealt with our query as to whether we could bring the set back and exchange for one better suited. Linzi came back to us within the working day and assured us that we could exchange, talking us through each step. Once we had chosen our new set, Linzi arranged for the delivery and collection of the first set. The whole thing was seamless. This demonstrated excellent customer service and we will certainly return in future with this peace of mind. The delivery team that came to the house were also excellent and very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We are delighted with our new set, thank you!

We used the cafe and found that the music (Smooth Radio) was too loud and intrusive. Despite asking twice, the volume was not reduced. On speaking with the manageress at customer services, her arrogant reply was that we had been sitting in the area where the speaker was, and that was the reason for the excessive volume. "That's the way we have it", was her response, which was most unhelpful. Be advised if you go there, they will not switch down the radio.

I have been twice and the food is fantastic from soup, sandwiches or a meal and dessert, they are all excellent. Well presented and well worth the money. The staff are polite and friendly. Thank you for a wonderful meal every time.

I enjoyed the day at Shackleton there’s so much to see. Great selection of quality furniture, plants, pictures, pots and much, much more. Lovely cafe with good coffee and delicious meals. I definitely recommend.

We bought a Laura Ashley coffee table online, but needed to return it as it didn't colour match a sideboard from the same range (one was honey oak, the other sandy) From making contact and getting excellent advice and support from Linzi in the Customer Support team to taking the table back to the warehouse and being greeted by Alistair, who immediately recalled the information provided the previous day about the return, we felt that as the customer we were being treated fabulously.
They both made us feel that 'the Customer is King', both were very helpful and polite as well as being apologetic for something that was not their fault.
I can't recommend them highly enough.

When we went to collect our new purchase, it was ready and waiting at the warehouse and loaded into the car for us. When it came to putting the furniture together, there were some bolts missing. We contacted Shackletons and Matt dropped the missing bolts of the same evening at our home after hours. The service was great and the furniture looks fab in our home and is the quality you would expect from Shackletons. Thank you

Ordered a mirror on the 20th of December only to be told yesterday it’s out of stock. Terrible! Had a phone call this morning 02/01/2026 to apologise which is unheard of. Very much appreciated.

I made a mistake when ordering a gift online for a friends birthday I contacted Shackletons and spoke to Matt who went 100% out of his way to solve my problem I cannot praise him or Shackletons enough Thank you so much for your help It’s 10 out of 10 for me

Lovely staff very professional and helpful nothing too much trouble

I visited Shackletons specifically to source a new dining table , I saw the one I liked and Paul B chatted to me I explained I was visiting friends and lived in Shropshire. He quickly went to see about delivery and managed to arrange white glove service . The table was delivered on Monday 15/12 /25 and I am really pleased with it . Thanks again Paul B and Shackletons .

From start to finish excellent service .The website is flawless it offers a huge range of items to browse through .To my delight I came across the Artisan bedroom furniture Range which I ordered .Can I say it is absolutely stunning quality workmanship ,solid wood ,aesthetically pleasing.
Furniture pre built only the bed to assemble &that was very easy built in 15 minutes.The company from the assistants answering the phone to Leah who helped me with a query fantastic customer service .The ordering system &delivery top class it was a local delivery company who were very helpful & professional communication was first class furniture delivered to the room of my choice .As a family run company all I can say is well done Shackletons 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟from me .Keep doing what your doing as company's like you are hard to find these days .I'm so glad I came across you online.I will be buying from you again 👏👏

This is a lovely place to visit, particularly on a wet day. Super cafe but does get very busy. High quality goods throughout with some excellent indoor and outdoor furniture

We enjoy our visits to Shackleton garden centre and also visit the restaurant too , travelling from Warrington

Had some issues but Vicky and the team at fox valley are so helpful. Customer service at its best! putting the customer at the heart of the business.
