We are very sorry to hear that the ordered item did not meet your expectations.

As we do not expect you to accept this we would like to get in touch to set things right. As we can see when leaving this review you have also reached out to us via email. We did reply to you with further information on how to operate the product which we were certain will get this issue resolved for you. As we have not heard back from you until this very day we would highly appreciate if you could let us know if the issue has been resolved. We always aim to provide you with the best service and of course with products that will not cause you dissatisfaction.

We are terribly sorry but unfortunately we are currently unable to process any orders from abroad. This is related to the recent departure of the European Union which has had an impact on all Exports - whether to a country within the EU or elsewhere in the world.

We do hope to find a solution in the near future to offer our products to whichever country you are in.

Thank you for leaving us with a review here on Trustpilot.

We are truly sorry that the current circumstances caused by the UK leaving the EU have resulted in us not being able to offer our products to customers outside the UK. It is our aim to work on a solution going forward as we would love to offer our products to all of our loyal customers - whether they are in the UK or abroad. The decision to stop offering international shipping has been heavyhearted and we do hope that we will be able to resume this service once it is feasible for companies like ours to do so. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Regarding the statement 'you are the only European Retailer' we want to kindly advise that this is not the case. As much as we would love to sell you the product in question we have to ask you to check local or inter-European retailers. We are unable to offer further advise in this matter but we hope you will be able to find the product you are after eventually.

Thank you for initially choosing Simply Pleasure - We do hope we will be able to offer our products to all customers again - whether they are local or abroad.

Unfortunately we are not able to identify what the issue is as you have not left us with any details and any explanation why you rated us with 1 Star and the comment 'Not very Good'. It would help us tremendously to get a bit more insight to work with and to identify what made you leave us with this a review and comment. As we can see you have been in touch with us via email before you received the order we are surprised you did not use the same method of contact to make us aware of any issues with your order, the delivery or the service provided. It would have been very helpful if you could have used the same way to contact us regarding any issues you seem to have experienced with your order.

As we would like to hear more regarding your dissatisfaction and get the chance to set things right for you we will reply to your previous communication so we can identify how we can help you.

Thank you for the time you have taken to leave a review here on Trustpilot.

However looking into this we cannot identify any feedback related to us as a company, to a product you have ordered from us or a service you have received from us. As this entire review is based on the service you have experienced with the Royal Mail we would have to ask you to raise this with your local Delivery Office. We are unable to comment on any processes the Royal Mail is following when an order cannot be delivered - this maybe the case when the recipient is not at home or there are access issues. It is indeed not acceptable that any items are opened in transit or when stored in a depot.

Please reconsider this review as it is not related to any customer service experiences with us. Alternatively please do not hesitate to share your experiences with Simply Pleasure - we would certainly appreciate any feedback regarding the recent order you have placed with us.

We do appreciate the time you have taken to inform us about any dissatisfaction or disappointment you have experienced with your order. We certainly take any feedback on board and we will do our utmost to rectify and set things right were appropriate/necessary.

Looking into your order we can see that you have placed the order on a Tuesday evening and as per our Ts & Cs (also stated within the order process) any order placed before 2pm can and will be processed same day. In your case this would have meant the earliest we would have been able to process your order was on the next working day. As this was the case and your order was sent via Next Day Delivery Service (Royal Mail - Tracked 24) your order has reached you as promised on the following day.

We are devastated to hear that the box was damaged when it was delivered. We would have truly appreciated further communication from your end as you have multiple options to get in touch with us to raise any concerns or complaints. After an internal investigation we have seen that you have contacted us prior to leaving this feedback but there was no mentioning regarding the damaged box or any missing instructions. Please be advised that we can always discuss such matters and provide you with any support needed and offer you assistance/help to set things right.

Please do not hesitate and reply to our previous email correspondence and attach some images of the box - we will happily discuss options in order to resolve any issues and make this experience you have made so far more pleasant and satisfying. It is our aim to provide you with the best service possible.

We do apologise for the experience you have made. This is in fact not our usual way to process orders as you can probably imagine. That it has come to this with your order is indeed very inconvenient and disappointing. We have no intention to displease or dissatisfy our customers and it is a shame we have failed to offer you the great service you would expect from us under any other circumstances.

It is not our intention to provide you with any excuse however we wish to clarify that at the time you have ordered the product in question we had sufficient stock available. Due to logistical reason we were unaware off at the time when processing your order it has come to our attention that the item in question was in fact not available. It is certainly not ideal that we have failed to provide you with the product but I can see that we have been able to open a conversation via email with you and we were able to provide you with the well-deserved refund in a timely manner.

Again please accept our apologies for the inability to provide you with all ordered items and we do hope that this reply will regain the trust and faith in any order you may want to place with us in the future.

I have been investigating internally and first of all I am relived that the order reached you on the 4-1-21. In case you have any after-sale queries please do not hesitate to contact us via the available methods such as phone, email or chat. Thank you very much.

Please allow me to advise that the dispatch confirmation email may be found in the Spam/Junk folder of your email account. It may be worth having a look. If you are unable to allocate the email please let us know and we will look into that for you.

Please allow me to advise that the office was closed during the festive period which we also stated on our website to make sure that customers are aware of possible delays - we do apologise in case this was not clear enough or has not been sufficient enough to avoid any misunderstanding.

Last but not least please allow me to suggest contacting us with any questions or concerns you may have before leaving a review. I have been able to allocate an email you had sent on the 26-12-2020. As we have answered your query on the 30-12-2020 we were surprised that you left this review and we do hope for your understanding that during current times and the festive season delays can occur - please give us a chance to answer your query and use this platform for sharing your overall experience.
