1 Star – Completely Disappointed
I joined Songtradr about a week ago and regret the decision.
The biggest issue is that the platform feels abandoned. After paying for a Pro subscription, spending days uploading music, entering metadata, and setting up my catalog, I discovered there were NO Music Wanted opportunities available at all. Not a few opportunities—NONE.
I also contacted customer support twice and never received a response. Even an acknowledgment email would have been appreciated. When you're paying for a professional service, basic communication should not be optional.
To make matters worse, one of my co-written songs remains inactive because my co-writer's account has not been activated. Again, no response from support and no guidance whatsoever on how to resolve the issue.
I've been involved in music for decades and have used other pitching and licensing services in the past, including Taxi.com. While no platform is perfect, I at least knew what opportunities were available and could get answers when problems arose.
My experience with Songtradr has been the opposite: NONEXISTENT communication, convoluted onboarding, and no support at all when issues arise... And there are A LOT of issues!
I canceled my Pro subscription and requested a refund. Unfortunately, I feel like I paid $49 for a blank website, frustration and ZERO opportunity.
Based on my experience, Songtradr is a SCAM and only in it for the subscription fees. Don't waste your time and money.
Distribution Services are Broken
I have a track which is reported as having ben released on May 5th, but it has not appeared on any streaming services and when I contacted customer support I got a message saying that the request was seen and no other response, in spite of trying to get an update.
Customer support is effectively non-existent and the platform no longer has other opportunities for promoting music. It is just awful.

Absolutely terrible experience with Songtradr. I paid for the service and for more than 2 weeks I haven’t been able to upload my music because of their broken system. I contacted support multiple times asking them either to fix the issue or refund my money — and they completely ignored me.
No reply. No fix. No refund.
For a company that claims to support artists, their customer service is shocking. The platform is buggy, unreliable, and when something goes wrong, you’re left completely on your own. Looking through the reviews, it’s obvious I’m not the only one dealing with this. Save your money and avoid the frustration.
Withdrawal Delayed for Weeks – No Support Response
Title: Withdrawal Not Paid After 30+ Days – No Support Response
I requested a withdrawal on 23rd March 2026, and even after more than 30 days, I have not received my payment.
The platform claims a processing time of 2–4 business days, which has clearly not been followed in my case.
I have contacted support multiple times, but received no meaningful response. Instead, my tickets (#827754 and #835794) were marked as “Solved” without actually resolving the issue or releasing the payment.
This lack of communication and accountability is extremely disappointing, especially for a paid (Pro) service.
At this point, I am still waiting for my payment and a proper response from the company.
I hope this review encourages the company to address the issue seriously and resolve pending payments instead of closing tickets without action.
Songtradr is complete trash
Songtradr is complete trash. I Requested several times over more than one month to remove one of my songs from the platforms. I used their online form for withdrawing the track. But no reply from them whatsoever. They did not reply my messages, they did not take down the song. Stay away from Songtradr. They should be called Songscamr.
A distributor that sabotages you at every turn
My band is set to release its third studio album in June. We are doing this in association with a US record label, a UK one, a European one and a Chinese one…
All of these labels have reviewed and approved the masters, and the CDs and vinyl records are currently in production…
HOWEVER, Songtradr has decided that the opening track has “too much silence” at the beginning of it (it doesn’t) and has put the digital release of the record on hold. Against our better judgement, we had our producer do a new edit of the track and resubmitted it for approval… and Songtradr has responded by ignoring us completely! 13 days have passed and we are extremely worried about the status of the release.
In the meantime, Songtradr’s automated systems flagged three singles from the album that we hosted on the band SoundCloud as “potential copyright infringements”, apparently not realising that the have taken the tracks down from our official SoundCloud, thereby throwing our publicist’s plans into disarray… again, the company has yet to issue a response to our support request about this matter, even after three working days
Honestly, this is a terrible company to try to work with and a cannot warn people more strongly against making the same mistake we have done
Songtradr Fraud
Songtradr has been administering the song distribution and collection of royalties of my music and depositing the funds into my Songtradr account. I have to utilize Songtradr to withdraw my own funds from my account via a funds withdrawal request. I've requested and was refused payment 4 times. Songtradr refuses to distribute my money to me without explanation and does not reply to direct emails or through their service portal. Songtradr refuses to pay me without explanation.
No support, poor service
Been a client for 7 years. Was very satisfied until last year. Now I experience nothing but issues with their distribution, and no communication from them on what is going on. Service is poor. Requests for support go unanswered. Very disappointing...
No Customer Service
I have been a customer of Songtradr for 4 years. It started out okay but has taken a terrible turn for the past year. They block some distributions for invalid reasons and then will not respond to my appeal emails. They started charging me for an artist that is not mine and after three emails, they still will not respond to my request to take that artist from my payment plan and remove it. I'm searching for other distributors now as Songtradr's quality of service has become terrible.
The worst company I have ever been involved with!
I am having unbelievably bad (or should I say, NO! service from Songtradr at the moment! I input my song info as per at least 20 times before and paid for distribution within 3 days. I could not find the song after four days so went into Songtradr and found that they had a message saying incomplete info! I emailed for specific info on this but I was astonished to hear them say they were unable to say what the conflict within their submission program was.
They had taken my money but not distributed it within the 3 days promised! I tried intermittently to sort the submission but to no avail!
Eventually, two months later I went back into Songtradr and wiped my song submission and started it all over again. This time it worked.
However, in the meantime, I had upgraded my recording of my song but had used the old and original version which was still in my Songtradr list of songs.
I spotted this within a day of me correctly distributing it so I contacted Songtradr to ask if they could stop my Distribution so that I could input my latest version of the song! I was told they could not do this until it was properly Distributed first a week or two.
I waited this time then messaged them about withdrawing my song, as per their advice and replacing it with my proper recording, and I have had Absolutely No Return Correspondence from them in months in spite of me contacting them again and again!
Songtradr in my mind are the pits!
Also, although I have a professional membership, I have not seen, nor been offered any Opportunities to Sync my music for payment if successful!
They have no respect for the people who are keeping them in money!
If you are reading this, Songtradr, why not attempt to contact me and sort out this mess you have gotten me into.
I would definitely not recommend Songtradr to anyone!
Very poor company
Very poor company. They charge an annual fee but do nothing for the artists. The licence fees earned are not paid out. It is very difficult to receive payments. The support is very poor. No payment for 4 weeks, no response, but the annual fee was debited. Very, very poor company. I will be leaving them.
Keine Antwort, keine Auszahlung
Nach mehreren E-Mails, keine Antwort bekommen. Support antwortet nicht per E-Mail oder auf Instagram. Warte jetzt schon über 20 Tage auf meine Auszahlung obwohl auf der Webseite steht: PayPal sofort Überweisung. Fühlt sich mittlerweile wie Scam an. Sie vertreiben deine Musik, du zahlst dafür aber bekommst die Einnahmen nicht. Sucht euch einen besseren Publisher der auf die Künstler eingeht.
Absolutely awful service
Absolutely awful service. My artist profile and all songs were removed from Tidal without any warning. I raised the issue with Songtradr at least 2 weeks ago and they have never replied once.
An uneasy member for a while
A member for some time - poor customer service, lengthy reply time. Inform but don't resolve . There clearly is not empathy for artists and musicians - well not in my experience. Once didn't even get an email that there was an issue with a release. Recently, three weeks for reply is not good.
STAY AWAY FROM SONGTRADR - NON-EXISTING SUPPORT
SONGTRADR SUPPORT DOESN'T EXIST ANYMORE, I HAVE 3 WEEKS DEALING WITH A PROBLEM WITH THE RELEASE OF A SONG, I EVEN PAY 25 DOLLARS MORE FOR THE RELEASE, BUT NOBODY ANSWERS AND IT IS REALLY FRUSTATING TO HAVE THE SAME AUTOMATED MESSAGE EVERY 4 DAYS THAT THEY DARE TO REPLY, ALSO EVERYTIME YOU OPEN A TICKET IN SUPPORT THEY CLOSE IT WITHOUT ANY COMMENTS OR HELP FROM THEIR SIDE.
ALL MY ORGANIZATION FOR THE RELEASE IS GONE.

They have terrible customer service. It takes them over a month to respond, and you DO have to send several follow ups. They don't deliver 1% of what they promise! They are by far the WORSE experience I've had.
tired of asking to be paid
I carried out some work as a freelancer for a company acting under songtradr's umbrella, after 4 months of polite and not so polite nudges I'm still yet to be paid.
I've been told PO's need to be signed only for them to not exist, passed around from person to person, I've made and remade the same invoice multiple times to jump through their hoops and given extraneous amounts of information to their payment team who just don't care.
TBH I get it, if you don't really care about your work you can treat the job with a justified amount of apathy but as someone who runs a small freelance operation, getting paid for work I've done is pretty important to keep things moving.
I was hoping their accounts team could see the human element enough to bypass the bureaucracy of corporate payment systems but even having 0 hope I am still let down.
Service doesn’t work

Utterly unethical
We were an early band to be represented by Songtradr, and they even waived the fee for us. They told us none of our material would be licensed without our consent, then proceeded to do exactly that. Now their platform has changed so much that it's impossible to see a complete history of how our music has been handled, and on top of that it is remarkably difficult to access our payments. Deeply problematic behavior from a profiteering sham company that doesn't value art or artists at all, to the extent of blatantly lying to them. They also charge exorbitant fees, including transaction fees just to move your money to your own fkn Paypal account.
Also, they bought out Bandcamp and fired tons of people. Wannabe private equity extortionists who probably f_ck to Michael Buble
