This is the second mystery box I have ordered, it hasn’t disappointed. I can honestly say I will use all the things that I received. I find Squid Ink products to be very effective & the mystery box is great value for money. Highly recommended.

A little insight into my experience with Squid Ink Detailing products. Some weeks ago, my dogs got absolutely caked whilst out in an walk, and proceeded to jump all over the car! So, I’ve been putting off what I knew was going to be a big job.

I started with the exterior, and despite owning the car for the best part of a year, I must confess I’ve never washed it by hand. The biggest surprise was that it’s actually metallic black (who new?).

The Alkafroth Snow Foam was very impressive, I left it to do it's thing whilst I filled my buckets and by time they were done I jet washed it off and to be honest, I could almost have left it at that. The shine on the paintwork was superb.

Blue Lagoon on the wheels next. So initially I have to admit I was left a bit underwhelmed by this product until on closer inspection it turns out that it's actually the wheels that are knackered! The grotty stains were actually just corrosion on the alloys.

HD shampoo... really good a little goes a long long way. My only issue was that the Sun decided to come out at this point and it was drying and streaking almost the instant it hit the car. Not an issue with the product, as the very comprehensive directions clearly advise to avoid use in direct sunlight.

The Sun continued to give me hassle when it came to clay bar time. This is not something I've done before so I wasn't really sure what I was doing, but seemed to go ok on the shady side at least.

A quick wax followed, again superb product. Really nice to apply, and buffs up lovely.

Day 2, scary interior! And for me the hero of the weekend, APC... I don't know what's in it (I'm guessing maybe Wizard's Spittle), but what an amazing product. The way it lifts pretty much everything up even on fabric door cards is incredible... I will be buying this by the tanker load I think ;)

Leather clean and nourish on steering wheel and shifter/gaiter was fab, and gave it that proper new car leather smell again! The window cleaner, bloody brilliant, dash clean was good, nice that it doesn't leave a nasty shine like many silicone based alternatives out there.

Oh, and the plastic protector is really great! Again, no nasty shine, just fresh from the factory look.

I've still got a few potions left to try, but saving these for the next time.

As you can tell, I'm really impressed. Keep up the good work, you are smashing it!

Had an issue with the delivery but this was swiftly resolved. Prompt service and great communication. Haven't had a chance to review the product as yet but would recommend Squidinkdetailing on their service & comms. Update- Citrus Pre wash is a very good product. Great for cleaning extremely dirty cars!
