Zero stars

If there had been an option for zero stars I’d have given it. Matter still not resolved and money still not refunded. Complete lack of transparency. Took money, didn’t deliver, didn’t communicate and only after persisting in trying to find out what was happening did I receive an email saying sorry, the boots are not available any more.

Smacks of a business which is using underhand tactics to support its cash-flow.

Never will I buy from this business again.

I’m not sure who’s running the company…

I’m not sure who’s running the company right now but the service overall is horrible. I placed an order on 12/2/25 and as of today I haven’t received my items. I spoke to a customer service representative and was giving false information. I was told my item would be shipped on 12/29/25. Called today spoke to a representative and was told due to the holidays blah blah blah. Checked my spam email saw an email the shoe was discontinued I should expect a refund within 10 business days. I will never shop Steve Madden again not even in store. Almost forgot to mention the representative Sarah claimed to not be able to send order cancel confirmation emails but she can email me herself and this is the email address that she sent from”GorgiasAlert which came across as a spam email account

Delivery / Refund / Customer Service

I placed an order for boots on Black Friday with the expectation that they would arrive well before Christmas. After weeks of no updates, I contacted customer service and was told that the boots were essentially out of stock at the moment I placed the order and that they were “trying to locate a pair.”

I was never notified of this issue at the time of purchase or afterward, which I find extremely misleading. Had I known the item was unavailable, I would not have placed the order.

I then requested a full refund and was told I could cancel the order. When I followed up to cancel, I was informed that the order had already shipped despite there being no tracking updates and no delivery well past the expected timeframe.

By January 2nd, the boots still had not arrived. After reaching out yet again, my order was finally refunded. While I appreciate receiving my money back, this experience reflects a serious lack of transparency, poor inventory management, and inconsistent customer service.

Customers should not have to chase down basic information or wait over a month for an item that was never truly available.

I will never again buy from this company …

I will never buy from this company again. Terrible customer service and unprofessional staff. I ordered a boot for a Christmas present and they send me a boot 2 sizes smaller than what I ordered. When I realized they sent the wrong size and went to change the size it was sold out. They were rude and unapologetic for their mistake. Never order online from them. They will send you the wrong size.

Parfait. Site très sérieux

A cause des commentaires négatifs, j'ai beaucoup hésité à commander surtout avant Noël. J'ai reçu ma commande très rapidement avec un suivi impeccable.
Les bottes sont très belles et taillent normalement. Ne pas prendre une pointure au dessus comme certains le recommandent.

Pedí unas botas

Pedí unas botas , llegaron una semana tarde , aunque la pagina indica que los envíos se hacen al día siguiente. Por este motivo cuando se entregó el pedido yo estaba fuera de vacaciones . Al volver y abrir el paquete me doy cuenta que me han enviado unas botas usadas , la suela está desgastada del uso y la piel tiene roces . Por motivo del retraso no pude recoger el pedido y al haber pasado más de 14 días no me permiten hacer la devolución. El trato al cliente es nefasto , no contestan he enviado varios mails , por Instagram y cuando lo hacen despues de una semana en otro idioma sin aportar soluciones.
No respetan tiempos de envío indicado en la web y venden productos usados como si fueran nuevos , no se hacen cargo de sus errores , no recomendable , por el precio de sus productos deberían ofrecer mejores condiciones y servicios de postventa , no merece la pena.
No se hacen cargo de los costes devolución y el envío es internacional , no tienen dirección en España .

The worst customer service ever

The worst customer service ever. Fraud promotional codes and staff is rude and unprofessional. Called for assistant could hardly understand them and he was sighs in the middle of servicing me. He told me purchase item them as for a refund for shipping. Absolutley not whe the promotion is for free shipping why would i go through the hassle.

Horrible

Horrible, I would almost call it a scam company. I ordered a pair of shoes, no shipping, no update, no shoes! No reply to any of my emails, had to contact them through Instagram, still no solid answer as to where my order is! I get the feeling I will never see my shoes or my money back! Don't buy from them!!!

Torn shoe with warrenty not replaced

I had bought a white shoes from Steve Madden at 14,000 rupees on 9th of October as I was going for a trip to Rajasthan for 10 days. After returning after 10 days, I noticed a scratch on the right shoe exactly at the center of the front part of the shoes. Basically the off-white color was a scratched off and there seemed to be a white patch on the shoes. Now these are newly bought shoes, just not even 15 days and after a trip of 10 days I see your scratch on it. And I do remember that the Steve maiden staff had made very clear that the shoe has entire guarantee for lifetime and a warranty of one year. So this wear and tear which happened for 10 days is pretty much included in this 14,000 shoes. I went to Steve Madden store in Infiniti Mall mallard West on November 16th and they said that they can't do anything because this kind of patch or defect that has happened to the shoes is called wear and tear and not accepted in the warrenty there. They said that they will not provide any replacement nor would they give us a refund. This is highly disappointing that after going to a big brand like Steve Madden and buying their highly priced shoes, I get this kind of customer service. I would highly recommend not to buy any shoes without proof from here because they offer fake warranties and absolutely bad customer service for returns or refunds.

I brought shoes from them, by the first day wearing them they peeled. $100 lost, I tried to exchange them but they said it was worn out. Not shopping there anymore.

I’m deeply disappointed with @Steve…

I’m deeply disappointed with @Steve Madden’s customer service. I ordered a pair of shoes scheduled for delivery on 27th October, but it still hasn’t arrived. Their customer care number is always on hold with no response, and the delivery partner @Delhivery is equally unresponsive—the contact number remains switched off. Despite multiple emails, I haven’t received a proper update or resolution. To make matters worse, there’s no option to cancel the order on their website. Such poor service and lack of accountability are truly unexpected from a reputed global brand. Hoping this issue is resolved at the earliest.

Steve Madden, Do Better!

I ordered the Outlaw boots in black multi color. I received the Outlaw boots in wine. I first tried to do a return on the app and was unsuccessful. So, I called their customer service number and go through the steps of doing my return. While doing that I ask, is it your company’s policy to send customers items that they did not order? I was told no it isn’t. I then ask well what is the policy. What I was told of course did not align with what happened to me. When the customer service rep finished she told me I would get a return shipping label emailed to me in 3 days. This was on a Sunday. I waited actually 4 days before I called back because I had not received anything, not even an acknowledgment of my return. When I speak to the next customer service rep he says if you don’t get it in another day, call them back. This process makes no sense so I ask to speak to a supervisor. Instead of letting me speak to a supervisor, he tells me it will be sent as we were on the phone. I wait and wait and then he says you’ll get it today. I say by what time. He says oh about 2 hours. I do t know what’s going on at Steve Madden but this is ridiculous. I have never had such poor representation of customer service from this company. Steve Madden, please do better!

I ordered a pair of boots for my…

I ordered a pair of boots for my daughter on October 8th, 2025 that were supposed to arrive on October 15th. The boots never arrived - according to the FEDEX tracking number, the package was never received by FEDEX and was not delivered. However, via email Steve Madden said the order was "fullfilled" and would not refund my order or send another pair of boots. Online form and email customer service were completely useless. Eventually I got through to the phone customer service - we worked out they would reship when more product was released on October 27th - they did honor this and we received the boots about 7 days later.
In the end we received the boots - but it did take about a month and a lot aggravation.

Pre order scam

I pre ordered very expensive shoes over close to two months ago on pre sale (Sept 1st). They were to ship September 29th. I have had to reach out twice. First I was told October 13th, then I had to reach out again and was told it was unfulfillable and they would keep looking around for some in a condition they can ship. I told them to cancel the order. I am not sure how you pre sale past your manufacturer capacity and how you do not manage your customers. They probably wouldn’t even be refunding me if I didn’t keep following up.
I definitely will never be shopping from them again

If I could choose no Stars I would but…

If I could choose no Stars I would but you have to provide 1 star- I would not even provide a one star for their customer service team!! What an absolute joke!
They provide you with their returns process - EVRi- then when this system fails to return your items to their warehouse they do not want to assist you or provide you with your entitled £270 refund!
It’s not the customers fault if their current returns process does not work- that’s for the company to sort out.
I’ve sent almost 10 emails to try and resolve this issue and every time they ask for the same info and proof of return even though I’ve continued to do this.
I’m at my wits end to resolve this. I’ve asked for my case now to be escalated as a complaint as no one wants to actually help me. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS ONLINE COMPANY or you risk having the same issues as all these other customers who have also submitted bad reviews. I expected a better service from Steve Madden which would reflect their promoted product and quality they offer. Clearly their customer service fails once they secure your hard earned money …

Soles broke apart within a few hours

Wore a pair of their high heel shoes to a wedding. Never worn before but both soles came apart within a few hours of wearing them. Disgraceful, never seen this happen before. Luckily had a spare pair of flats in my bag! Wish I could upload a photo.

Onjuiste levering, geen terugbetaling en onbereikbare klantenservice bij Steve Madden

Op 2 juli 2025 heb ik een bestelling geplaatst bij Steve Madden (bestelnummer #STEVEU507347). Ik had twee paar sandalen van hetzelfde model besteld in verschillende maten. Bij levering bleek dat ik één correct paar ontving, maar daarnaast een verkeerd paar in een roze/nude kleur dat ik nooit besteld had.

Beide paren heb ik retour gestuurd. Toch is slechts één paar terugbetaald (€ 99,99), terwijl ik beide retour heb gezonden. Op 9 september heb ik hierover gemaild naar de klantenservice, maar tot op heden – nu al meer dan 11 dagen later – heb ik nog steeds geen enkele reactie ontvangen.

Hun klantenservice is bovendien dramatisch:

Telefonisch zijn ze helemaal niet bereikbaar.

Winkels verwijzen je naar de webshop, maar daar is geen telefoonnummer van.

De enige contactopties zijn chat of mail. Via de chat moet je 3 uur wachten op een reactie (!), en per mail komt er simpelweg geen antwoord.

Ik vind dit ronduit onacceptabel. Steve Madden maakt fouten in de levering, lost dit niet op en is totaal niet bereikbaar voor zijn klanten. Tot nu toe mis ik nog steeds mijn geld terug voor het tweede paar sandalen dat ik netjes retour heb gestuurd.

Ik raad iedereen af om bij Steve Madden online te bestellen.
