Worst customer service I've ever seen!! I placed an order with Steve Madden, but the item was never delivered to my address. Instead, it was redirected to a pickup location that I cannot access, making it impossible for me to collect the item I paid for.
I contacted customer service immediately, expecting a quick resolution. Instead, I was told I wouldn’t be refunded until the item is returned to their warehouse — a process completely outside of my control, even though it was their delivery failure, not mine.
This has been a completely unprofessional and frustrating experience, and I now have to report the charge to my bank. It was my first and last time ordering from Steve Madden, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

I was initially attracted by the design of the product, which is why I purchased a pair of shoes online. However, when I tried them on, I was disappointed by the poor quality. The material feels hard and uncomfortable—more like cheap shoes, which I normally avoid. Given the relatively high price, they are definitely not worth the cost. The shoes are uncomfortable and inconvenient to wear. Returning items is extremely difficult—there's no return label in the box, and you have to pay high postal fees to another country by yourself. It took a lot of time and effort just to figure out how to initiate a return. This has been one of the worst online shopping experiences I've ever had.

I order 2 pairs of Sandals to which I received 1 pair yesterday. Once I open the box I was so disappointed to have received 1 new shoe and 1 used pair. I call and all they guy said if I wanted to keep that pair he will give me 20% off or if I wanted a new pair. Of course I wanted a new pair if that’s what I paid for. I emailed them as well about the issue just for them to say we saw it has been resolved. Like really!! What customer service is that.

I ordered several pairs of shoes from Steve Madden in April. One pair was marked as a pre-order, expected to arrive in early May. May came and went, and by the end of the month, I was told the order would ship on May 30. It’s now June 18, and not only do I still not have the shoes, but the tracking keeps updating with new delays.
After reaching out for help, I was told that if I didn’t hear back within seven days, I should call again. I followed up, only to be told the shoes had already been delivered, which isn’t true. The tracking never showed a delivery. Then I was told to file a complaint, which I declined in favor of contacting my credit card company for a chargeback.
Later, they claimed the order had been delivered to my local post office, except they sent it to one that’s 30 minutes away, not my actual local post office, which is just five minutes from my house. I had originally used my P.O. box but was warned that the order would be canceled unless I provided a residential address, which I did. Since then, I’ve basically been stuck at home waiting for this delivery that never came.
When I asked how this could’ve happened, I was given a vague explanation that simply wasn’t true. To top it all off, they offered me 20% off, which is the kind of discount you can get on their site any day of the week.
This experience was frustrating, inconvenient, dishonest, and incredibly disappointing.
Mayven black sandals
I was so excited to buy these sandals. When I wore them, I noticed they have a very bad leather smell that gets so annoying because people around you can smell it too. Smell is very obvious and it makes you uncomfortable to wear them. I'm not satisfied with the purchase after all, and wouldn't recommend it to others.

Horrible Shipping to Outside Continental US
If you live in Alaska, Hawaii, or a U.S. Territory, it is a complete waste of time and money to order from SteveMadden.com You pay $24.99 for the absolute slowest, inefficient and overall worst shipping experience possible, not to mention that you are not even updated on the progress of your order after FedEx delivers it to their shipping center. You are better off having items shipped to a friend or relative in the continental US and burden them to ship it to you instead.

Ridiculous processing time
Took too long to process items. When I emailed the company they said it was being processed. I Just got an email this morning that they shipped via Canada post- in which Canada post are going on strike tomorrow. Save your time and your money- order elsewhere.

Ordered a pair of shoes for a wedding 1.5 months out. They didn’t ship the product after two weeks. I emailed customer service and they would only give a vague response that it’s being “processed”. Tried to cancel the order and they refused. Don’t order from them. Seems like a company going out of business or falling apart.
Very poor built quality.
Shoe repair done under warranty within three months and then just after an year sole got separate from the shoe. As per customer care it's a general wear and tear. Don't buy.
Order lost and Steve Madden wants me to wait 4+ weeks!
Will never order from Steve Madden again. I live in a US Territory so my item(s) were shipped to FedEx and have been sitting there for the past 2 weeks. 4 weeks have passed since the order was shipped from Steve Madden. A week ago management said they have continous difficulties with FedEx and are unable to say when my item will ship from FedEx but will prompt them to ship. Rep refunded me $16 for shipping. A week later now and my order still hasn't shipped from FedEx. Called Steve MAdden again and they're saying in order to be fully refunded for my order I must wait for Steve Madden to recieve the item back from FedEx. This is ridiculous!!! I'm done with Steve Madden. Shoes are nice but customer service for orders that have surpassed the expected delivery date is horrible.
HOPE YOU'RE ORDER IS CORRECT!
I ordered 2 pair of shoes, on deliver one was incorrect their error. Took them 2 weeks to send me a shipping label to return the shoes. Then I was expected to order my shoes and pay for the delivery for their error. I wrote endless amount of emails. Very delayed responses and basically i need to order my shoes again (and possibly not get the discount that i had) and pay for delivery.. NO THANKS !!
Sent me ONE SHOE
Ordered twice and received the wrong order twice. This was my first order from the site and the last. I ordered a pair of flats in black 7.5. The first order they sent me size 7.0. I returned and reordered, the second order they sent me ONE SHOE in size 6.0. I returned and am still waiting for a refund of the restocking fee.

Second time in a row that shoes come defective. Yes, they may offer a discount for a future purchase, but what good is to keep having issues with the product. I wish they had better quality... Going for Cole Haan shoes.
Piss poor quality
It took me 3 to 4 months before I started to break through the heel of the shoe from the sole. After around five months, I couldn’t step in a small puddle without my feet getting wet because there was a hole. I have a pair of Clark’s that get probably four times the mileage that these Steve Madden shoes get and they still are going strong. I would never buy another pair of Steve Madden shoes again Due to their piss poor quality. I’ve had Skechers that lasted longer than these. Before anybody says that I was probably walking a ton of them, I put maybe 16 hours a week on these shoes…
Horrible shipping!
This is the second time I’ve paid for expedited shipping in less than 6 months and days later the item hasn’t even shipped and all they can say is they’ll refund me the expedited fee.. that’s not helpful if I really needed the item.

I placed an online order for a pair of shoes for my teenage son. Waited for days and never got a tracking number. They took my money but never shipped anything. I tried to contact them using the live chat which starts with an AI bot with automatic useless responses. Then it said it would transfer me to a live person. Almost 10 minutes later and I got tired of waiting so I gave up and called them which also proved fruitless. Asked to leave message which I never got a call back. The same day I did get an email back saying the shoes are out of stock and gave me a refund. I wish they said that 7 days ago...or not even allowed me to even buy a pair of shoes that are supposed to be out of stock. Makes no sense to me. I won't ever buy from here again. I wonder if I never tried to contact them would they have just kept my money and have me waiting for shoes that are never to come. Also, I literally looked at the exact same sheos and size are still up on the website for sale and it does not say out of stock. Completely untrustworthy
