I am extremely dissatisfied with the online store I purchased from, Steve Madden Australia.The customer service is absolutely horrible and even the store itself is not helpful in tracking where my order is.The customer service team does not engage with me at all and shows no concern after receiving payment.I have not received my order and there seems to be no effort on their part to resolve the issue or provide any assistance.This is unacceptable and I expect a prompt response and solution to this matter.

I just bought a pair of dress boots from SM and they came fast and exactly what I ordered. Very stiff but that’s ok, it’s just a matter of breaking in.
Quite happy and appears to be high quality at a reasonable price. I’ll stick with them in the future. Poor customer service is one thing but product quality is what I’m interested in and I’m very satisfied.

Not to make it better you have the worst representatives of your company ! How does a cashier miss one of the most important transactions leaving me the customer at distress !? What store doesn’t have a phone or unreachable management not even by centre management of where it is located ? Does that not alarms fraudulent behaviour?
What a terrible experience
What a terrible experience, the first time I received everything I ordered and had no complaints. The second order went so bad that I lost my money after purchasing a pair of shoes, because I already paid for it online and they lost my shipment.

Never again! Paid $9. for shipping and its been a week! I can ship anywhere in the world for $9 and probably get a shoe box to Uganda faster than Steve Madden can get a pair of 1lb mesh shoes to New Jersey. High volume of orders they say...so then comp the shipping to make up for your lack of customer service!! What a terrible company. They do not have anything I can't find elsewhere and will NEVER purchase from this company again. Still no shoes, btw, as I write this.

I’m not sure how this company is managed to get an order WRONG EVERY SINGLE TIME. And who has the time to always return products back. This is the second time now in one year in 2025 that my orders has been incorrect. Never order from SM again nor shop in store (the staffs are rude).

Twice in the last two months they have taken my money for a pair of boots and then just never communicated that they didn't have the item they sold me. I followed up on the first pair after a couple of weeks and they told me they were going to do inventory to see if they had the boots. I chose to cancel. Friday, one week after placing a different order for different boots, I was told they were shipping on Saturday which seemed dishonest because Saturday shipments are obsolete. Today (Tuesday) I called to confirm that they were shipped and was told that they have low stock so they may not have the item to ship. Dishonest, upside down and potentially even a scam. It's clear that whatever has happened to this company is not good.

They sent me the wrong order after 2+ months
I ordered a pair of boots in November around the same time Canada Post went on strike. After waiting almost 2 months, I contacted Customer Care to look into this and they said they would get back to me - they never did. I contacted them again but there was no response on the live chat after waiting over 30 min. Eventually I had to call their Customer Care telephone and they said they would finally re-order them for me after 2 months had already passed. I was excited to finally receive my boots until I opened the package and it was someone else's order entirely.
I contacted them again to express my disappointment and frustration and all they did was tell me my boots were out of stock and send me a return label ie. I had to use my own time and resources to print the label and drop off the return after this entire ordeal. It was truly the worst retail experience I've ever had and the customer service I received was horribly subpar, even for Steve Madden

I ordered two pairs of shoes on the 18/12/24. I contacted their unprofessional customer service team by email on the 04/01/25 when I didn't receive the items. They admitted to me via email they had made a massive error with the order & that I will not be receiving my shoes. (honestly it's not that hard to do a job). I received another person's order which were a pair of ugly silver worth $69.00 along with that person's private details (including all details which is privacy breach). Attached at the back of that sheet where my details (label to send to my house) obviously minus my shoe order. I has been numerous email correspondence between myself & the customer service team over this last month including today 29/01/25. Within my initial email to them I told them of the errors they made & asked for a return label for the silver pair of shoes so I can return the shoes back to the the company. I have also asked for a refund of my money & they stated in several emails that I would not receive my refund of $110.00 until I send back the silver shoes worth $69.00 (so basically blackmailing me). I told them I was the one who suggested sending it back to you & have asked for the return label on 7 occasions & still not received one. I also told them they weren't even my style anyway. In total I have sent 14 emails back & forth asking for my refund & a return label. They finally sent me the return label today 29/01/25 to which I will post them tomorrow.
I have never ever in my life engaged with a more unprofessional team & I have asked on numerous occasions to have this escalated to a manager to which they continually ignored my request not only that they ignored some of my emails. I have all this documentation to prove this & I will be sending this to their head office in New York. Also, yes I have tried calling their head office (Australia) several times to which they never returned any of my calls.
I would say do not ever buy from this company because not only do they mess up the orders but they in turn blackmail you for their error & do not return your refund even though this is in breach of the Fair Trading guidelines.
I used to be a regular customer but due to the treatment I have received from them for the last month & still trying to get my money back I will never buy from them again. I honestly hope this helps someone before deciding to buy from them in Australia
Do not buy on line from Steve Madden! They will take your money and forget about your order or give you any apology!

Dissatisfied customer!
I ordered a pair of boots on Jan 14, 2025. Days later there was an additional 20% off. When I received the boots on Jan 27. 2025 which was well-beyond the 3 to 7 days shipping 'policy' I contacted them to ask for a refund of the 20% especially due to the 13 days it took to receive the boots. Long story short, their answer was 'No.' If you are looking for good customer service, shop elsewhere.

I placed my order on December 28.
I was charged for my order on January 3. It is now January 13 and I have received now shipping updates or anything regarding my order.
I was told by one customer rep “we’re doing inventory” and another “due to exceptionally high volumes of orders”.
1. Do not charge your customers for orders that haven’t shipped.
2. Staff your facilities to meet your customer promise of “3 to 7 business days standard shipping”
3. Provide regular updates to your customers when there will be delays instead of them having them contact you and then leave you poor reviews like this.
I am so disappointed, to the point that if I don’t have an update or the order hasn’t shipped by the end of the week that I’ll get a refund and buy from somewhere else and never from Steve Madden again.
