As a 60 yr old male I could only find 2…
As a 60 yr old male I could only find 2 balls that had large fingerholes so I could get my fingers in BOTH of which were HEAVY. Tis place obviously caters for women and children, not that it is wrong but more large holed balls would be nice and at least as low as 10 in weight.

Good for bowling fun
Tenpin York is good value and the equipment is well maintained. Good for fun bowling but not for serious bowlers because the lanes are not oiled timber and approaches have too much friction.

It was the first time I'd taken my grandchildren, she 3 and 6 and they absolutely loved it. E will definately be doing it again.

Cleanliness could do with improving - more staff for busy periods.
I know it was half term and busy but the overall cleanliness was a let down. The ladies toilets, 1 cubicle was in the dark due to a light bulb out, 3 out of the 4 cubicles had no toilet paper - I informed a member of staff. Toilets were overall, smelly, dirty and need a good freshen up. I know the lane areas have been upgraded a few years ago. But attention now needs paying to other areas.
Our lane was left with rubbish and glasses from previous users. I just felt they needed more staff to help manage and maintain the running of it at busy times.

Great time lots of fun
Arrived a little early allocated our lane without delay.
On going to set up the camera wasn’t working, had to look to find a member of staff who changed our lane.
All great until a larger family came next to us, who were unruly and often running around in our lane space which was frustrating.
The auto bumpers are great.
Only down side is the frames for the kids are bent at the ends and make the balls go in the wrong direction.
Overall enjoyed it and will return..
