another negative review as promised This bunch of incomptents have rung me again despite asking to take me off their call list on many occasions Seems they just can't help being dumb. They don't seem to comprehend that I will never use such and aggressive firm who cannot even follow simple instructions. I would hate to think what their customer service is like if you used them and had a problem. Imagine telling your friends you worked for this company, how embarasing.

Mis sold Card Machines
Mis-sold Card Machines
I am absolutely disgusted with my experience of being sold Worldpay card machines through a third-party sales representative.
I was contacted by telephone and offered two card machines for my business. The salesperson explicitly told me that the rental would be £1 per machine per month, with transaction fees of 0.8%.
I have never used a card machine in my business before, so I had absolutely no experience of what they normally cost or how the rental agreements worked.
I will admit that I thought £1 per month sounded unusually cheap, but because I had never used one before, I had nothing to compare it against. I simply assumed that the company made most of its money through transaction fees rather than monthly rental charges.
I specifically asked the salesperson whether I would be entering into a contract. He confirmed that it was an 18-month contract but reassured me that, at just £1 per machine per month, it would only cost £18 per machine over the entire agreement.
That meant I believed I was committing to just £36 in total rental costs over 18 months for both machines.
I thought this was a reasonable amount to risk if I decided the service wasn't suitable for my business.
The salesperson also discussed how my customers could use Klarna to spread the cost of larger payments, which was another reason I was interested in the service.
The entire signing process felt quite rushed. I was being guided through the documents over the telephone and encouraged to complete everything while we were speaking.
However, I had heard of Worldpay before and knew it was an established payment-processing company. The documents were also being sent to me from what appeared to be a legitimate Worldpay email address, rather than some random or suspicious email account.
Because of this, I genuinely didn't think there was any possibility that I could be getting scammed or misled. Everything appeared legitimate, and I trusted that the agreement I was signing reflected the prices the salesperson had just explained to me.
Looking back, I wish I had taken more time to read every single page, but at the time I had no reason to believe the salesperson was giving me incorrect information.
What I discovered afterwards was completely different.
After reviewing the signed agreement, I found that the actual rental charges were £29.50 PER MACHINE, PER MONTH, not £1 as I had been told.
That is £59 per month for two machines, with an 18-month minimum rental commitment.
Instead of the £36 I believed I had agreed to, the written rental commitment amounts to £1,062 over 18 months.
That is a difference of £1,026!
At no point during our telephone conversation did the salesperson explain that I would be paying £29.50 per machine, that the £1 price was temporary, or that there was any cashback arrangement or additional condition attached to the offer.
When I discovered the discrepancy, I attempted to contact the salesperson. My calls and WhatsApp messages went unanswered.
Interestingly, the number he originally called me from was different from the number he used to communicate through WhatsApp. When I called the original number back, I received an automated greeting identifying the business as EasyPay.
After checking my Worldpay paperwork, I also discovered that The Redwood Group and Associates Limited was named as the introducer. This relationship had not been made clear to me during the sales conversation.
I am now left questioning why I was given one price over the telephone and presented with an agreement containing a completely different price.
I signed the agreement on 15 October 2026 and identified the problem that same day. The card machines had not even been delivered when I discovered the discrepancy.
I would NEVER have agreed to an 18-month rental commitment of £1,062 for two card machines. I agreed because I was explicitly told the total rental commitment would be £36.
As someone who had never used card machines before, I relied on the salesperson to explain the costs accurately. I accept that I should have checked every detail in the documents before signing, but I also believe customers should be able to trust the prices they are explicitly quoted, especially when they directly ask about the length and cost of a contract.
I am sharing my experience to warn other small-business owners to be extremely careful and read every single figure before signing anything, even when the paperwork appears to come directly from a well-known, legitimate company.
I am seeking cancellation of the entire agreement without any financial penalty.
I will update this review once I have received a formal response and know how the matter has been resolved.

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM REDWOOD GROUP.
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM REDWOOD GROUP.
I am a small business owner who had only just taken the keys to my new premises when I received a call from a Redwood Group broker.
I genuinely believed I was speaking to someone from my existing energy supplier who was calling to deal with a change of name on the account. I was given information over the phone which, once I received the contract, I realised did not match what I believed I had agreed to.
I then discovered I had been tied into a 4-year contract with significant fees and charges.
I disputed it almost immediately. From that moment, I have been trying to get answers, contacting the broker, the supplier and making formal complaints.
What should have been one of the happiest moments of my life — opening my own business — has turned into an absolute nightmare. I have spent days worrying, emailing, making calls and trying to understand how I can get out of a contract I never knowingly agreed to on those terms.
I am a small business just starting out. I simply cannot afford to be put in this position.
Please be extremely careful if you receive a call from this company or one of its brokers. Verify everything independently and never rely only on what you are told over the phone. Read every single page before signing.
I am pursuing this matter through the formal complaint process and will take it as far as necessary.
And once this is over, I will be taking my experience public. I will not stay quiet about what happened to me.
Scamming liars with no morals
Scamming liars with no morals. They cold called and signed my heavily pregnant wife up to a contract that she didn't agree with. They've found some way to game the system to convince energy providers and the energy ombudsman that everything was legitimate, signed and agreed by the customer. Scumbags.

Totally fed up useless scammer company
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY
We were approached with a view to moving all our card machines. The Card machines provided could not Sync with our systems, dropped out of Wifi and we have been left paying for these card machines for the last two years and had to organise new suppliers and contracts. Redwood have shown no interest in compensating us for the losses incurred. Salesman made promises that have never been lived up to. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY or you may be paying for the mistake for a long time
Harassment every week
Harassment every week, do not submit an online form to exit their marketing calls as instead they will sell your number to numerous call centers abroad to profit that way. After submitting the form we suddenly got flooded with other call centres.
Absolutely shocking company
Absolutely shocking company. Avoid at all costs.
They signed me into an electricity contract only 4 days ago, and I’ve now discovered that the meter number I gave them wasn’t even for my actual shop. As soon as I realised the mistake, I contacted the main energy supplier first, and they told me I needed to speak directly with this broker company.
When I called them, they were rude, dismissive, and basically told me I could “never” cancel because I had signed the agreement — even though it has only been 4 days. They also said I would be stuck with them permanently, even if the prices increase in the future.
Completely misleading and unacceptable behaviour. No proper customer care, no willingness to help resolve an obvious mistake, and they seem more interested in trapping customers into contracts than actually helping businesses.
Would never recommend this company to anyone.

AVOID AVOID AVOID ! Con artists sign you up with no time to read the contract tell you it’s £x then charge you 5x the price they quoted then you can can’t get out of the contract. Avoid at all costs.
