I was looking to replace 8 windows (double glazed) and 2 doors, so I contacted several companies, including T&K, for a quote. From the outset, I was told a sales advisor would visit and that the appointment would last 60–90 minutes, which already felt excessive for a quotation (you only have to measure some windows, not hold a presentation about your company, SERIOUSLY).

The representative who arrived was knowledgeable, however, the visit was overly long and heavily focused on sales tactics, discussing their family business background, marketing promotions, and emphasising the “top quality” of their products.

The initial quote came in at £31,000 for 8 windows and 2 doors, which was frankly shocking (do you guys make them out of gold by any chance?). When I made it clear this was far beyond my expectations, the representative “spoke to the marketing team” and reduced it to £26,000. After I challenged this again, he then “checked with his manager” and dropped the price further to £16,000.

This kind of pricing structure raised serious concerns for me. A reduction from £31k to £16k suggests the original quote was significantly inflated.

I declined the offer politely and ended the meeting. The sales representative told us that if we don't accept this offer and we call back, the offer it's going to reset at 31k (like I was going to call you back ever). However, what followed was even more frustrating, daily phone calls for two weeks, despite my lack of interest in their services, until I eventually had to block the number.

In the end, I chose a local company who completed the same work for £8,500 (triple glazed).

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

Just had windows and French Door fitted by T&K. We are very pleased with quality of products and the workmanship, as we live in a old cottage the fitters Kenny and Hayden did a great job. I would recommend T&K to anybody looking for replacement windows.

We contacted T&K on Monday regarding our front door, which was installed a few years ago, as we were having issues with the lock last weekend. The lady was very helpful and said that someone would be out that afternoon to have a look. Within two hours of the phone call an engineer arrived and fixed the problem within ten minutes and was on his way. Very happy with the excellent customer service and the job that he completed. I had a conservatory fitted by T&K almost two years ago, and it has been nothing but problems ever since. The roof still leaks despite numerous attempts to repair it.
The initial installation was a disaster — their team caused significant damage to my property, and the quality of workmanship was appalling. Everything had to be redone, including replacing the tiled roof, which was originally installed crooked and uneven.
To make matters worse, during their latest attempt to fix the leak, they damaged my existing roof. I emailed them asking when this would be repaired, but I’ve been completely ignored.
This has been an incredibly stressful and disappointing experience. I wish I had never used this company and will never use them again. Definitely not recommended.

We required full replacement of our home windows and exterior doors and chose TK& initially because they were a local manufacturer in Wellingborough.
From the initial survey, right through to the last day of installation, the entire process was very smooth, handled by very pleasant teams who listened carefully to our needs and fitted each window with great attention to detail throughout.
Liam and Leo arrived punctually over the three day period of installation and were polite, respectful and patient when asked a plethora of questions during that time. They explained the process in detail as it progressed, even stating that they had ordered a replacement frame for one of the new doors, due to a small crack during manufacturing. The door was fitted for the time being and another team did arrive a couple of weeks later to replace the frame and tidy up the plaster around the entryway.
As I write, there are just a couple of snagging issues that T&K are dealing with, but these are very minor and overall we are very happy with the experience.
I would suggest to anyone thinking about using T&K for replacing windows, it does help to clear the rooms properly before fitting (as we did), this saves a great deal of time for both the homeowner and the fitters, who did appreciate this very much.

They replaced all my doors, windows, fascia’s and soffits in 2023. Excellent work with quality products. A great improvement to my heating costs.

We had 9 windows fitted by T&K Windows and couldn’t be happier with the result. Liam and Leo, the fitters, were excellent – really skilled, helpful, and knowledgeable. The job was completed in just 2 days with a superb finish, everything left neat and tidy, and the quality of the work is clear to see. Highly recommend T&K and especially the fitting team for their professionalism and attention to detail.

Windows and front door replaced.

A Few issues with the installation including some minor marks to the glazing units and frames in places that required replacing and touching up.

Few bits/areas of install I wasn't completely satisfied with.

Installation teams were polite, helpful and friendly.

Good customer service and Samuel was very helpful and went above and beyond so fair play.

Despite a few delays and a couple revisits they have put right all my concerns and now all complete and look really good.

The end result is very good, windows and door look great, given 3 star due to the issues with the original installation, revisits required and subsequent delays.

For overall experience I would recommend and have recommended to friends.

If you want good quality windows and doors in the Northants area, you should try T&K. They make great quality windows and service is good. Recommended.

Had a great experience – excellent timekeeping, service, and communication throughout. The staff were friendly and clearly knowledgeable. There was a small issue with alignment, but it was resolved quickly and without any hassle. I’m a happy customer and would definitely recommend! EB.

My journey with T&K home improvements.
I felt the need to replace my rosewood composite front door and side panel as it had cracked with the sun and looked awful. I decided on a white door with a larger glass area to let more light into our hallway. I turned up early at the T&K showroom without booking on Saturday morning and was warmly greeted by a young lady named Franki. Franki was an excellent ambassador for T&K and cheerfully showed me around the options on display. She was extremely helpful and I was able to choose the door and glass I wanted there and then. Franki then kindly arranged a visit from Sales for the Monday.
Curtis the salesman turned up exactly on time and took us through the process. Curtis was excellent, extremely thorough and guided us through our door and matching glass panel options. The only downside was the extremely antiquated process of quoting high and then offering discounts. Other suppliers have gone away from this dated and old fashion method of quoting and merely present you with a price, perhaps T&K should consider this. Anyway, Curtis convinced me of the benefits of the Company and the products and we got to a price I could live with. The price was more than other quotes I had obtained but I felt very comfortable with this because of my experiences with T&K so far. I paid my deposit and Curtis left.
The next contact was from Chester, a young lad sent round to do the measuring, and this happened just over a week after we had seen Curtis. Once again, Chester came across as an extremely competent and thorough individual who went out of his way to verify the requirements. We left him alone to do the measuring but felt very confident in his abilities and knowledge.
A few weeks passed and then we got contact from Sam advising us of our delivery and installation date. The note highlighted the areas we were responsible for to ensure the fitters could proceed. This resulted in me removing the old doorbell and ensuring good access.
The fitters were due to arrive between 8am and 9am. They turned up at 8.05 which pleased us. After introductions to both Will and Liam they cracked on with the job. The standard of work from both Will and Liam was exceptional, whatever T&K are paying these guys, it is not enough in my opinion. The finished article looked fantastic and you would not have even known they had been. They were so helpful and took me through the operational side with thoroughness and courtesy, a great pair of lads.
Overall, am I happy with T&K and the process, the answer is a resounding 100% yes and I would be more than happy to recommend them to anyone based on my personal experience. Everybody I spoke to from T&K throughout my journey (and this also included the ladies in the office occasionally) was first class and a credit to the organisation. The door, glass and glass panel are top quality and we are over the moon with the end product.

We have had our main front door and two other external doors replaced over the past few years. Service has been excellent and after sales prompt following a faulty handle. I would have no problems in recommending them to my friends and family

Had a full replacement of all doors and windows, started on 9th June and completed on 11th June to a great standard. The team including Liam and Elliot, sorry forgotten the other lads name, were excellent throughout. Very professional, pleasant and hard working. The work was completed to a very high standard and they tidied and cleaned as they went.
Happily recommend T&K and their team to anyone interested in high quality work.
