Really great experience with Travel Nation and Olly, so knowledgeable and well thought out itinerary that suited us perfectly, and they looked after us so well, both before we went and when we had to sort a few extra bits while on our family adventure in Costa Rica. ☺️

The travel advisor really listened to what we wanted from the holiday, our likes and dislikes and put together the perfect trip for us. She also had great recommendations from personal experience which was invaluable.

We recently (6th March-7th April 26) did a mini tour of Asia, taking in 2 x weeks in Bali, 1 x week in Sri Lanka & a further week in Goa (India) all was done by flying and we also touched down in Shanghai & Kuala Lumpa, so all in all it turned out to be quiet an itinerary and took some planning. We were fortunate to have contacted Travel Nation and be put into the very capable hands of David Taylor. Initially we told David what we would like to do and that this trip is to be planned to coincide with our 50th Wedding Anniversary, David took the details and after a few days came up with this itinerary, later modified because of recent conflict in the middle east (Thank You Mr Trump). We flew from Manchester to Shanghai, then onto Bali where we spent 2 fantastic weeks at The Paradisus by Melia, Nusa Dua, this is also where we celebrated our anniversary, which David had told all the hotels we stayed at about, everyone made it extra special, Thank You David. From Bali we flew over to Kuala Lumpa (Malaysia) and then onto Sri Lanka for a weeks stay. David had planned & booked our itinerary in with Ceylon Tours, we had a car & driver/guide for the full week, our driver's name was "Freddy" and he was brilliant, very caring, very helpful and full of useful knowledge. During this weeks stay, David had included a 2 x night stay, including a Safari at Cinnamon Wild in Yala National Park, I cant tell you how great this place is, its unbelievable, we could have stayed here longer it was that good, so good, we are planning to go back soon. After the fantastic week in Sri Lanka, Thank You Freddy of Ceylon Tours, we flew over to Goa and stayed in Calangute, another great week and just what we needed before coming home. Again due to Mr Trumps actions, our original return flights had been cancelled, but this wasn't something that caused us any stress, David & his manager booked us new flights which went via Mumbai and then direct to Manchester and at no extra cost to us, Travel Nation paid the extra, you can't ask for a better service than that??? This was the second time that Travel Nation put together a long and complicated intercontinental trip for us. They never disappoint. This time we travelled the length and breadth of China and Gray Baker at Travel Nation did a superlative job putting it all together. He complied with all our own requests, and when added to his own expertise and advice, he created the perfect experience. The organisation on the ground was flawless, their app which carries your itinerary is very user friendly and extremely well designed. I would not hesitate to recommend both Gray and Travel Nation.

I recently booked an incredible multi‑stop trip to Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, and Hong Kong through Travel Nation, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. My travel consultant, Gray Baker, was outstanding from start to finish.

Gray was consistently knowledgeable, helpful, and impressively quick to respond to every question I had while planning such a complex itinerary. What really stood out, though, was how smoothly Travel Nation handled unexpected issues. When one of my flights was cancelled at the last minute at the airport, the team jumped into action immediately and had everything sorted before the situation could become stressful. They were equally efficient when I needed to change flights a week before departure due to the situation in the Middle East, rerouting me straight to Malaysia without any hassle.

On top of all that, Gray checked in throughout the trip whenever something arose, making sure I was supported and everything continued to run smoothly. That level of care made a huge difference and really set the experience apart.

The support, professionalism, and genuine attention to detail made the entire journey feel easy and well looked after. I highly recommend Travel Nation, and I’m already planning to speak with Gray about future trips I have in mind.

I can't speak highly enough of the team at Travel Nation. Ruth organised a fantastic round the world trip for us, tweaking the route and itinerary until it was perfect for us. They also sent information and links for the various visas needed. We were in Australia when the war in the middle east broke out and Adam kept in regular contact about flights and he even got us home a day early. Given other travellers experiences that we spoke to, we feel incredibly fortunate to have had Travel Nation looking after us. Highly recommend. Will only use TN from now on!

We booked a tour of Nepal with Jim at Travel Nation, but due to the outbreak of the Iran war found ourselves stuck in Dubai where we were due to transit to Kathmandu. Jim was superb and somehow got us on a flight back to Heathrow with Emirates after being shut up in a hotel for 6 days. We had no idea what had happened to our luggage after we were evacuated from Dubai airport but with Jim on the case we were able to collect it once we landed at Heathrow. The level of service from both Jim and the other members of Travel Nation was exemplary and we cannot thank them enough for getting us home safely. To top it all off they even arranged for the land based itinerary in Nepal to be rolled to January next year!!

We booked with travel nation for our trip to Vietnam/Australia and Bali. Right from the beginning Adam our agent was extremely helpful in sorting out the details of the trip and recommending hotels. All our flights on our outward journey worked very well with short layovers. The hotels in Vietnam and Bali were lovely. We stayed with relatives in Australia. Our return trip was disrupted by the middle east war and our flights back to Edinburgh through Doha were cancelled. Adam was extremely responsive and organised return flights for us via different routes. He was prompt in responding to our queries and very reassuring. If he was unavailable his colleagues were there to respond to our queries. We were so glad that we had booked with a travel agent and especially with Travel Nation. I will not hesitate to recommend Adam and his colleagues to our friends and will definitely book future trips with Travel Nation

We have used Travel Nation for many years and they have always been very good at finding the right package for our budget and needs. They are ever ready to implement adjustments as needed. In the recent ongoing Gulf Trump bombing campaign, we were in contact with our sales consultant at regular intervals, his advice was much appreciated.
We like that we have a named consultant to contact as needed.

My husband and I have been using this company and Adam in particular, for the last three years and from the beginning, Adam made our travel arrangements so much easier. He is always efficient, makes good suggestions and quite honestly, takes all the hassle out of travelling for us - being both of ‘pensioner’ age! Recently we were stuck in Australia when Emirates cancelled our flight due to the war in the Middle East. Adam was at the end of my emails with overnight responses and managed to get us back to the UK via the States within days. We will forever be grateful to him and Travel Nation.

We asked Ollie for a round the world, bucket list trip. He certainly delivered. From his calls to help us design the trip, his availability to answer any questions, and his flexibility to add or subtract any elements, we were so excited beforehand and grateful afterwards. He furnished us with an app to take with us, which felt as if he were on hand with us. It was a trip we will never forget and we made so many memories. I would definitely recommend Ollie and use him again if we are able. Thank you.

This is the third time i have used Travel Nation for our trips to Canada, South Africa and now New Zealand. We have used Charlie Maybank every time to organize our trips for us and she has been fabulous right down to the last nut and bolt. Everything has fallen into place perfectly with no issues whatsoever and we will definitely use them again.

I booked my flight with Gray Baker, who was extremely helpful in finding me a cheap ticket to Thailand at short notice and then again with changing my flight to extend my trip.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and I'd be happy to book again with him.

If you’re planning any trip from a multinational, multi-month break like we did or just a holiday you have to use Travel Nation,,, and you should absolutely demand to have David Taylor as your travel consultant, he was amazing from Day 1 all the way through to arriving home ,, and he had to navigate us back through the Iran war and he did it so well in a calm and confident way, it was far less stressful than it could have been.
We went from the UK to Singapore to Australia to New Zealand to The Maldives over 10 weeks and he planned it all for us, in detail, with personal advice, tips and great travel tips - it was faultless.
So good! So professional. So friendly!
So if I were you, I’d definitely use David and Travel Nation ,,, and we certainly will again!

Kelly did the most amazing job of organising our honeymoon to the Cook Islands and French Polynesia. She listened really carefully to our needs and budget, and met all of our requirements - we loved her suggestions for locations, accommodation and trips, and the way she kept dialogue open to discuss different options and make everything just right and very individualised. She was also able to pass on local knowledge from the Travel Nation team, so we had a list of tips and advice up our sleeve for when we travelled. We had the time of our lives on our holiday, it was such a luxury not to have to think about any planning because everything had been arranged with such care - we could just be totally present and enjoy every second. Thank you Kelly for arranging a trip we will never forget - we are so so grateful.

Would highly recommend Travel Nation for their expertise, responsiveness, attention to detail, and special efforts to make your trip tailored to you. Also really appreciate their straightforwardness in communication, willingness to help, and the fact they really listened and never tried any pressurising upselling tactics (which unfortunately we’ve experienced with some other travel agents).

I bought round the world tickets and the support and advice was really important to me as I didn't want to be on a plane for more than 10 hours or fly at inconvenient times. I booked it all before flights were released so had good prices as the company booked quickly, even securing Business class for the first flight with a good price.
Chris West gave excellent care but exceeded all expectations when the trouble in the Middle East flared up while we were in Brisbane.We got to Bangkok 4 hours late but impossible to leave there.He secured us flights from Bangkok via Shanghai at no extra cost and only 1 day later than due date home. At one point he got up at 4.00 a.m. to check stats of Qatar flight and was on hold later that day for 4 hours.
All done with calm and reassurance at a tense time with multiple calls from me.
I would recommend Chris for a bonus if I could.

From the first enquiry onwards, our dealings with David Taylor were brilliant. Not only did he find a workable itinerary for our round the world trip, the value for money of our flights was incredible.
