I get a lot of things I have no use for…
I get a lot of things I have no use for - like the various planners (there is too many for one to use up in a month and it feels like they come in like every other box), the hair clasp was just so not my style. The glasses case - I feel like if you wear glasses you'd have one you use anyway, why do I need another one? Maybe one that straps inside the bag could be better cause at least that's a different purpose to the normal one. The mist was also not my favourite because of the scent, but I liked the idea.
I did really like the socks (February box was the best, the heart-straws are LOVE), some of the sweets were quite nice, and seeds for the April box too.
I don't mind getting things that I personally can't use that I can give away to my friends - like earrings, coconut stuff cause I don't like cocnut - but I wouldn't give away something that I just outright don't see a point in (like that clasp).
Might I suggest for the cozy season a bit of yarn for a small project?

We’re always trying to keep each month varied and introduce a mixture of treats, useful pieces and little surprises, so feedback like this genuinely helps us understand what our subscribers would like to see more (and less!) of.

Not Worth the Annual Commitment
I upgraded to the annual subscription (£204 for the year, or £17 per box) after a fantastic 3-month trial at the end of last year. The October, November, and December boxes were brilliant, filled with high-quality treats that made the investment feel completely worth it.
Unfortunately, this year has been a massive disappointment. The standard of the items has dropped significantly, and the boxes no longer feel worth the money.
To give an idea of the current quality, the August box contained a hair towel, a small packet of mini coconut squares, a body spray with a truly vile scent, and two pieces of decorative card pretending to be postcards. Swapping out actual product gifts for printed pieces of card feels like a major cop-out.
It feels like they put all their effort into the winter boxes to lure people into long-term commitments, only to slash the quality for the rest of the year. If you are thinking of signing up for a full year based on a short trial, I strongly advise against it.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We're genuinely sorry to hear that you've felt disappointed with your boxes this year, particularly after loving your October, November and December boxes so much.
We completely appreciate that with a subscription box, not every theme, scent or product will be to everyone's personal taste, and we always take feedback like this on board when planning future boxes.
We did, however, want to reassure you about one part of your review. We've been creating our monthly subscription boxes for over 10 years, and we would never intentionally make our winter boxes better to encourage customers into longer subscriptions and then reduce the quality afterwards. A huge amount of thought and care goes into every month's box, with our themes and products planned well in advance. We have subscribers joining us every single day, in both summer and winter.
We also noticed that not all of the items from our August box are mentioned in your review. The full box included an exclusive TreatBox-designed sunglasses case, a spa towel head wrap, Coco Cubes from a small independent business, a Sunday Rain body spray (with one of three scents included), a hibiscus claw clip and two TreatBox-designed summer postcards.
If you didn't receive all of the items listed above, please do pop our Customer Care team an email at hello@treatboxuk.com with your order details. We'd really like to look into this for you, as you absolutely should have received the complete box.
We completely understand that this month's selection may not have been to your personal taste, and we're sorry it didn't give you the same excitement as your previous boxes. We never want anyone to feel disappointed when their TreatBox arrives, but we did feel it was important to clarify that the quality of our boxes isn't changed depending on the time of year or the subscription a customer chooses.

It's a lovely idea
It's a lovely idea. Most.of presents were lovely. However I couldn't eat shortbread due to wheat and socks were too small.
The rest of the gifts were gredt.
Particularly the marshmallow. Wow!!!

Beautifully packaged
Was delighted to receive my first treat box and I am sure there ll be more ordered in the future. Beautifully packaged and really made my daughter's day ,as was bought as a gift. Would not hesitate to recommend.

A treat in itself just opening the box!
I have ordered a number of "Build Your Own" boxes from Treatbox, and up to and including my latest order, I have been completely satisfied with the ordering process and the efficient delivery service. I like the way they offer a variety of box options, but I particularly like the "build you own" box, because you can tailor the contents to suit your recipient. The items are of good quality value for money, and packaged very prettily, making it a treat in itself just opening the box! Highly recommended

I love these boxes
I love these boxes. Have made fantastic gifts for family members. It’s lovely you can choose your own items and you do seasonal boxes too. The first box I bought was a Halloween one for my daughter. We got my niece a birthday box but my daughter wanted one too lol as she loved some of the gifts we chose and wanted them too (an early birthday present). If I’m stuck for ideas - the best go to solution! Everyone loves them

Wasn’t overly impressed with the items…
Wasn’t overly impressed with the items which were in the pink Friday box, didn’t think they were worth what I paid for them & I added the mystery pyjamas to the box I was given the pink cherry ones, they are lovely pyjamas but they are far too long in the leg for me (I am only 5ft2) which is very disappointing as even if I roll them up a couple of times they are still too long you may need to add a petite range as not everyone is over 5ft5.
The last few boxes I have received haven’t been up to treat boxes usual standard.

Our Pink Friday Mystery Boxes are made up of a surprise selection of products, so we completely understand that they're not always going to be the perfect fit for everyone. I'm also sorry to hear the mystery pyjamas weren't suitable. We really appreciate your feedback about the leg length, and we'll certainly take this on board as we continue developing future clothing ranges.
It's especially disappointing to hear you feel your last few boxes haven't been up to the standard you've come to expect from TreatBox. We always want our customers to feel excited when they receive their order, so we're sorry this hasn't been your experience recently.
Thank you again for your honest feedback. It really does help us continue to improve, and we hope we'll have the opportunity to restore your confidence in TreatBox in the future.
Delivery failure and only partial refund
I ordered and put in the delivery address with flat number. This then didn’t show up at the checkout page, only the building number but I double checked and assumed the delivery driver would have access to it as delivery is an unavoidable £5.
The delivery failed as they could not see the flat number. Treatbox wanted another £5 to redeliver this when it was returned to them which was too expensive and past the date I needed it sent.
It has taken me 6 weeks to get the refund which had more money deducted from it due to some items having an expiry date (one biscuit for £3).
All in I spent a lot of time and money with nothing to show for it and I found the customer service poor. They were unwilling to resolve my complaint or acknowledge their address entry system needed changes and therefore I will not use them again and would not recommend.

Unfortunately, the parcel was returned to us because Royal Mail were unable to deliver it without the full address. Once it was returned, we offered two options: to resend the parcel for the cost of the additional postage, or to process a refund in line with our returns policy. As many customers choose to have their order resent rather than refunded, we asked you to confirm which option you wished to proceed with before taking any action.
Once we received your confirmation that you wished to proceed with the refund, this was processed the following working day.
We're sorry that our previous communication caused confusion, as that was never our intention. We appreciate you highlighting your experience and will continue reviewing both our checkout journey and our customer communications to make them as clear as possible.
We truly hope you'll consider shopping with us again in the future and give us the opportunity to provide you with the experience we always strive to deliver. Your feedback is genuinely appreciated, and we're always looking for ways to improve.

Beautiful boxes
I’ve had a couple of boxes now and each one has been beautifully packed, it’s all arrived in one piece and the quality of the products makes them good value for money. They also have a really good range of options available and the ability to personalise messages and cards makes them ideal for gifts.

All the gifts in my Birthday Advent were really good quality and very useable
All the gifts in my Birthday Advent Calendar were really lovely and useful.
