We recently had an orangery built which has made a massive difference to the back of our house, with so much more natural light. The contractors where fantastic, very professional and ensured the site was cleared each day. The building work was spot on and we were always kept upto date with the progress.

My only issue was the main communication with the office which was rectified once highlighted.

We absolutely love the finished build and would recommend working with Tyneside Home Improvements again in the future. Great value for money!

Tyneside Home Improvements fitted a new glass roof on our conservatory and our experience dealing with them was excellent from start to finish.
The salesman Lee, was very informative, answered all of our questions and enabled us to make decisions without at any time feeling any form of sales pressure.
Kevin, the surveyor, impressed us with his experience and the fitters Andy and Phil were both friendly and extremely hard working. We appreciated the fact that they protected our very muddy lawn with wooden boards on which they could work. They did a first class job and left no mess at all.
Inevitably the wet weather delayed the date of installation, but only by a few days, and communication with us was excellent during this time.
We are delighted with our new roof, and based on our experience with THI we would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.

Have had a conservatory built last year .Have had a couple of small problems .They have been very good at solving these without too much fuss . We are very happy with their Customer service .

We had a Supalite roof fitted on the conservatory this week from salesman to completion by fitting teams all aspects of work 1st class.Work completed with minimum fuss ,no mess a credit to the company.Would highly recommend. Many thanks Derek and Sheila.

Absolutely fantastic company, would highly recommend them. I had a conservatory built and the communication was excellent from all staff associated with this company. My conservatory was built 1 year ago and I have recently required some work to correct some issues to which were done with ease no hassle and finished to a high standard by all staff including today by their joiner who is an asset to the company, very professional. so if you want a reliable company with professional tradesmen who listen to your requests and are very reliable then this is definitely the company of choice.

We are over the moon with our new orangery. Excellent customer service from start to finish. All of the tradespeople were very professional and friendly. All work was always tidied at the end of the day. Excellent communication from office staff to update us on timescales etc. Staff at Tyneside Home Improvements went above and beyond to try and appease our unhappy neighbours. Would recommend this company to anyone, done an amazing job changing our windows.
From the sales team down to the fitters and plasterers the team were fantastic. For construction type work they were very clean, sweeping up at the end of the day. The process was 99.9% perfect (let's face it nothing is ever 100%).
But the little niggly things that may seem trivial to some, but to the customer may feel massive were sorted immediately, so never felt like I was bothering them no matter who I spoke to.
So would give a 10 out 10 to everyone from the sales team, office staff, fitters and plasterers.
If you want quality and a hassle free service THI is definitely worth a phone call.

From the initial survey to the final touches, our experience with Tyneside Home Improvements was excellent. Each step of the process was handled with the utmost professionalism, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free.

The journey began with an initial surveyor's visit from Dan, and setting a high standard for what was to come. Dan was not only thoroughly knowledgeable, but also keenly attentive to our questions and preferences. His professionalism, expertise, patience, and engaging manner laid the groundwork for the excellent service and craftsmanship that followed. Dan was pivotal in our decision to choose THI over other companies and gave us the confidence we were in good hands.

Telephone and email communications with the company office were handled with the utmost courtesy and professionalism, especially Jo, and Anthony, and colleagues. They ensured that we were kept informed throughout the entire process, from scheduling to updates on the progress of our installation.

The installation team's work was a testament to their skill and attention to detail: from the SupaLite roof installers, Dave and Jack; the plasterers John and Johnny; and the electrician Mac. The Project Management was great. It was refreshing to see all the staff actually working together efficiently as a Team, and ensuring that the quality of the installation was top calibre.

The transformation brought about by the SupaLite roof conversion exceeded our expectations, enhancing both the aesthetic appeal and the thermal efficiency of our conservatory. It has hopefully now become an all year-round living space.

Post-installation, the company's commitment to ensuring complete customer satisfaction shone through once again. Jo addressed our queries, and the snag resolution team Stuart and Paul were prompt in addressing any minor issues, demonstrating the company's commitment to customer satisfaction. Their quick and efficient handling of these details reassured us that we made the right choice. So much so that we had some additional glazing work done in the home with THI by Paul.

Very impressed with this company its staff, and tradesmen. Everything went smoothly. So organised, one tradesman followed the last one seamlessly all of them polite and tidy workers. On the phone any questions or queries I had were answered there and then if they didn't know it was a very short wait for a call back. Communication was great. All lovely people and had a good laugh with them. My partner even made sausage egg and bacon sandwiches for them. Wouldn't hesitate to use this company again and will certainly recommend them to others.

From start to finish next level service. Fantastic quality windows at a very reasonable price. Ricci the salesman provided first class service and we couldn't be happier. Highly recommended.

Recently had a "Supalite"roof installed on an existing conservatory. From our initial enquiry to Lee, the sales rep. visit followed by Kevin, the surveyor, until completion everything was handled very efficiently. Dave and Jack worked in challenging weather conditions but remained cheerful and considerate, working very tidily and cleaning up well before leaving as did the plasterer and electrician. We are delighted with the product and result and found THI helpful and easy to deal with. Would not hesitate to recommend.

We have recently had our windows and doors all changed and upgraded from Tyneside Home Improvements, although there were a few initial hiccups with materials, the work was well worth the wait, we are over the moon with the work that has been carried out. From our first meeting with Ricci, who was outstanding in going through everything with us, making sure everything was right for us, even the follow up call after the work was complete. To Kev, Rob and all the tradesman who worked on our house we cant thank them enough for the end product, its all the little finishing touches that have made a massive difference.

We recently had an orangery added onto our new build house and our experience with Tyneside Home Improvements from start to finish was second to none. Very attentive throughout and always contacting us to ensure we were happy with every step of the build. Paul and the team who built the orangery were fantastic and very clean and tidy as was Dave the electrician and Mark the plasterer. Damon was visiting regularly to oversee the works carried and to ensure we were happy with each section of the build process.

A first class job within a very short timescale and we were kept up-to-date constantly, I cannot recommend this company enough.

Very positive experience from start to finish. Tyneside Home Improvements replaced all the windows and doors in our house and constructed a beautiful orangery with carefully matched handmade bricks to blend with the rest of the house. Highly skilled specialists for each stage of the construction. Really nice people who are happy in their jobs, who get on with their colleagues and work really hard and at the end of each day, leave everything clean and tidy. I have no hesitation in recommending this top notch company to friends, family and neighbours. We would use them again any time.

We are extremely pleased with our new Supalite roof, windows and doors on our “tired” conservatory. From the build lads Joe and Joel who worked effortlessly in cold, wet conditions to ensure we were always watertight, Pete the plasterer who worked long hours over 2 days to provide perfect plastering and Dave the Electrician who was was clean, tidy and punctual, the whole team are a credit to Tyneside Home Improvements.

Given the weather conditions weren’t great, the team respected both inside and outside of the property, leaving as they found it, with garden and conservatory flooring protected as if they hadn’t been there.

Additionally, the office kept us informed of every step, with all the work completed as described and to time.

The end product is fantastic, with us looking forward to being able to use the room all year round.

I am highly impressed with the service I received from THI. I came across them by internet search and rang straight away. Quotation visit was sorted straight away. Ricci is very professional and friendly. The windows and the installation are of great standard. I definitely recommend.

Tyneside Home improvements recently replaced all the original, stained glass, leaded windows in our home.
We are in a conservation area so required planning permission. Their surveyor, Steve, submitted our planning application for us and took great pains to replicate far as possible aspects of the original windows. Jason and Arron,the filters of the original windows at the front, and Kevin and Lewis who fitted more modern windows at the back of the house, all did an excellent job. An issue with the manufacturers sending the wrong pane was sorted out to our satisfaction. I certainly recommend the company for the work they did and I would definitely use them again.

We are thrilled with our stunning orangery, it’s really made a huge difference to our living space. We had a tiny kitchen so not only did we have an orangery built, we also knocked through from our living room to kitchen making it all open plan and made it our dream home.
From ground workers, builders and the installation team all worked really hard and efficiently in some awful downpour weather. We suffered a set back which delayed the build but the communication and care we received was above and beyond and cannot thank the team at THI especially Kevin and Anthony who came to visit which meant a lot at a stressful period.
We also had our guttering and fascia’s installed which finished the look of our house.
We still have a long way to go with our home improvements and we wouldn’t hesitate to contact Tyneside Home Improvements again. Thank you x
