Tyneside Home Improvements have been excellent throughout this garage conversion, from the first discussions to the finish, with excellent communications at all times. The building team, were very friendly and very caring and considerate with my mum who is in her 90's. The whole team was outstanding and all the work was first class. We are delighted with the new windows. Very impressed with Kevin and Bob, who went out of their way to make the whole experience easy for us. The rooms feel warmer, and the new frame colour looks really smart. The company were extremely efficient, and we plan to use them again for our next home improvements.

Tyneside Home Improvements built us a a hybrid Orangery just over a year ago now. We gave a very positive review at the time (particularly in relation to the friendliness and flexibility of their team and their quality control- at one point we were happy with the quality of the work but the company themselves were not and redid it!). A year on we continue to be impressed as they contracted us to check that there were no problems as well as doing a site visit. We did have a small problem with the window locks and they had an engineer out to rectify this within two days. We would have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone considering any sort of extension work.

I had our conservatory roof replaced my sister recommended this company to me they were professional on time and above all the after service is fantastic. I would and have recommended them to other people.

We were very impressed with this company from start to finish. No pressure was put on us to make hasty decisions and everything was set out from pricing to timescale. The workmen were superb. They came when they said they would, were respectful of our property, and worked very efficiently. We couldn't find fault with anything. We would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Tyneside Home Improvements built us a sun room. It was a great experience from start to finish. We were kept informed at each stage and the garden was kept as tidy as possible in the working area. All of the various workmen at each stage of the process were friendly and helpful and we are really happy with the final result. I can highly recommend this company and will use them again in the future.

We recently had two new windows fitted at the front of our house. Since being fitted last week we’ve already noticed a massive reduction in sound and the room is much warmer at night. They also feel a lot more secure than our previous ones. I’m excited to see the difference over winter as the quality of our previous windows were very poor.

The fitters were friendly and informative, and they took all of the old frames away with them.

This is the second time we have employed this company for building work. A conservatory and then a garage conversion .Excellent professional service from start to finish.The tradesmen are friendly, helpful, and completed their work to a high Standard. 100% recommend . thank you again Tyneside home improvements.

What I liked most is they had a different professional for each aspect, so each job (electrics, joinery, plasterer etc) was done to top standards. And all the workers were lovely.
They got matching skirting, the sockets we wanted and windows to match the rest of the house.
Everything was done quicker than expected and there was barley any mess.
The project manager called very regularly just to check we were happy and that everything was moving along smooth which I appreciated.
The finished room looks great, there was absolutely no issues along the process 😊
Only additional thing id add is some trade white on the walls, or even a recommendation for a painter with availability, just because it was difficult to fit in painting the walls & fitting flooring before the joiner came to do the skirting & door as I have a toddler with me all day every day. But I was well aware this was the process when booking, just a thought for future projects.
We are wanting to change our bay window next and we will go with this company again 😊

We had an orangery built at the back of our garage. The experience we had from the start to finish was OUTSTANDING! Starting with the gentleman who came home to show us the projects, Ian. Very professional, knowledgable and kind.
Communication is a key in these kind of projects in addition to commitment. Tyneside Home Improvements demonstrated to be absolutely professional and very caring. Damon was our contact person who was dealing with our protect. I cannot thank him enough for his excellent way of dealing with us. Everything that was promised was done as agreed. All the staff from the office to the on-site were so kind and all working together as a team to finish the project to a high standard. People who worked onsite were very kind, consistent in timing with regard to starting and finishing every day. They always cleaned the area before leaving at the end of their working day. Absolutely outstanding service. The owner of this company should be really proud of his team. Not to mention, the staff in the office. Michelle who was very good in listing to our queries, and actually getting back to us every time we called her to update us about our queries. Thank you Michelle for your excellent communication with us during the whole project. Anthony as well in the office, very kind and professional. In our opinion, a company shows to be professional when sometimes (minor) issues arises and the company happily deals with it with no delay or hassle. Only then the professionalism speaks for it self. Tyne side Home Improvements proved this several times. We had just little mistakes with door handles that were the wrong colour, straight away, they ordered new ones, came and changed it without any hassle or delay. The reason why we mentioned this is to show to other people that mistakes can always happen (we are all human beings) but the question is how the company deals with it. So this is not a negative comment but rather a positive when something happens, how the company deals with it.
Overall outstanding. The results were amazing and everyone who came and saw the orangery loved it. Thank you Damon for keep checking with us till the last thing was finished. You are truly amazing!
We strongly recommend anyone who is looking to build an orangery, to stop looking further and go ahead with Tyneside Home Improvements.

The owner Kevin should be very proud of his workforce, we are so impressed by the standard of workmanship from every single trade and profession. Every single guy on the job was pleasant, polite and extremely hard working. All work has been carried out to a very high standard, everyone turned up on time and left the site tidy at the end of the day. We now have the most beautiful orangery , we can’t recommend this company enough the price was extremely competitive. Well done to all involved. Many thanks to all those involved in planning and building our new garden room. WE LOVE IT. From start to finish the experience was a very positive one. The communications with Tyneside Home Improvements from office to onsite was excellent. The high standard of materials and the efficiency of work onsite was impressive. Also all the guys who worked on the installation were friendly but professional, prompt, tidy and nothing was too much trouble. All the staff we encountered are a credit to the business. We would have no hesitation in recommending Tyneside Home Improvements.

Recently had our garage converted by THI and we are 100% satisfied by the work carried out. Every one from the team did such a great job to help with the amazing finish. Kieran, Graeme, and joiner Mark, stood out as they worked so hard and nothing was an issue, and the quality of work was amazing!! Thanks so much to Damon for keeping the project flowing and for honest and being down to earth. We had an issue with the flooring level which was resolved by Damon and team which we are grateful for. Only pointer we picked up on was the communication which could be improved - but nothing major. We would highly recommend and we will be back for our extension!!

I cannot fault the work that has been carried out, the team did a good job and has carried the work out to specification. The teams that visited were very helpful, welcoming, and professional. Once Damon took over the project, he organised all the work and it was all completed in quick succession. Communication was significantly better. If there were problems, Damon was quick to rectify and provide solutions. However, I want to keep my previous words in the review to help warn any future clients. Although our experience was one in hundred, thats one in a hundred too many. The issues we had could have been prevented and it wouldn’t have spoilt the experience.
If I could give more of a breakdown to the individual services provided, the building work would be a 4/5 however, the service at the beginning has seriously damaged the experience bringing the overall experience to 3/5.
All in all, Tyneside Home Improvements has redeemed themselves but unfortunately, the experience overall hadn't lived up to expectations.

*To note that our project is still ongoing and has been ongoing for 4 weeks and a total of three days worth of work has been carried.

‘To date this has to be the worst customer experience I have had in my life. I had previously uploaded a review before but was asked for it to be taken down as an agreement that the service will improve. I feel that the only way to be taken seriously is to put a review such as this in order to get a response.

More work and communication was meant to be taking place as the week commencing 24th July, however no work has been carried out and furthermore the manager dealing with this is on leave delaying the entire project further and hadnt informed us of any updates. Website boasts about ‘unrivalled customer service’ but I am yet to experience this.

The customer service has been absolutely terrible and I seriously regret going with this company. I hope others dont experience what we are experiencing.’

Cannot fault the workmen from start of the base and foundations to the installation of the Upvc conservatory frame. Great expertise all round. Very happy with my conservatory.

David and I would like to say a huge thank you to Kevin and all at Tyneside Home Improvements, for a fantastic job in replacing our conservatory roof with a Supalite roof. Special thanks to Joe, Scott and Carnation Alan who were first class from start to finish and now hold the world record for the number of brews drank in a day. Absolutely delighted with our new Orangery and would highly recommend this company. Communication was excellent and all involved in the build were brilliant, very professional and even cleaning up before they left. We live on a new estate and have already had neighbours commenting on how impressed they are and how well the brickwork and window frames have been matched to the existing ones. Do not hesitate to contact them if you are thinking of having work done.

Right from the start THI where a great firm to use. Sales Person (Ricci) was not to pushy and contacted boss with reghard to certain things that need doing. Fitters were really good, Had pulled down old conserveratory and rebuilt it within 3 days (even fitted a catflap to the door as requested). Plaster was done within the day. Some problems (broken glass unit ) which did take about 3 week. This was fixed at the same time as they fitted the skirting board (which was my own). Overall I was very impressed with this firm and would recommend that you give them acall
