I originally asked for help to create the correct product to display my sign. Christina was extremely quick in reaching out to me & was very knowledgeable about the products UK POS sell. During our conversation she was able to fully understand my requirements & suggested a product which works perfectly to solve my display issue. The product suggested was also an 'off the shelf' product which worked out much cheaper than me having to commission a bespoke item. We purchased five stands from UK POS in 2024, sadly only three remain because two have broken spectacularly when accidentally knocked over. Yet we have 10 magazine stands build out of 5mm Foamex – from a different supplier – that are in tact and up to five years old.

Given we did have fifteen magazine stands, and the only two that have broken were supplied by UK POS, we told them about the issue with 3mm Foamex. They accepted zero responsibility. We suggested the unit should have been tested before they were shipped out but this was overlooked as part of our complaint.

If you are buying UK POS Magazine Stand 3mm magazine stand, please think about the impact on your business when it is knocked over by accident and smashes into small, sharp pieces of material. It’s not UK POS that is impacted by this poor design, it’s your business.

When you go back to UK POS to make a complaint, they won’t be interested as we have found out first hand. Looking at reviews online, we aren’t the first and might not be the last.

We have spoken to another supplier who has had feedback from customers about the poor quality of 3mm stands manufactured by UK POS, and they stated they were ‘surprised’ they don’t make them out of 5mm Foamex.

Our 5mm Foamex units have been knocked over as well. We have even knocked them over and on occasions dropped them by mistake, but there’s no sign of any weakness on the 5mm units. They are so much stronger, sturdier and more importantly, much safer.

We’ll now need to replace or reinforce the 3mm stands supplied by UK POS.

The stands were not made to my specifications, they were made to my dimensions. You recommended using cheap 3mm foamex and used your own design. Please get your facts straight.

The UK POS unit was hit once by a trolley, fell over and shattered into sharp, dangerous pieces in front of shoppers. The 5mm stands I bought from other suppliers who care about safety, have been hit by trolleys, and none of them have ever broken. Only the UK POS stands are fragile, unsafe, dangerous and poorly manufactured. The root cause of the problem is the UK POS stands weren't strong enough, it is that clear cut. You are welcome to visit our website anytime and see the mess of the stand that smashed. That page is getting quite a few hits!

The display units we bought are great - they look really professional and will make our work really stand out.

The 5 stars however are mainly for the staff at UK POS. From the purchasing team who sourced me several extra units (which were out of stock) and invoiced with a very short turnaround time to the team currently helping with a small missing item issue have been brilliant! Very quick responses, friendly yet professional and kept me in the loop at all times!

They upgraded my first order to express shipping- a small gesture but it meant a lot to me and spoke of the companies customer service . I felt cared for .
My blackboards arrived the next day and I’m really pleased with them . Thank you so much. Impressive .
