Absolutely horrible experience
Absolutely horrible experience. Zero communication and extremely unpleasant customer service throughout.
Despite paying for their service, I did not receive any of my mail. When I requested that my mail be forwarded to another country, instead of providing the service or offering a solution, they simply cancelled my contract, stating that their “eligibility criteria had changed.”
Changing your internal policy is not an excuse to abandon existing customers or fail to honour your contractual obligations. The entire experience was unprofessional, frustrating, and a complete waste of time.
I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you expect reliable mail handling or basic customer service. Particularly Amelle.
I received their reply saying it is related to AML. However that is not correct as I had passed all those. My account and source of funds never changed, nor anything else.

We would like to clarify that mail received during your service period was forwarded to the address provided. Unfortunately, following a review of our compliance and anti-money laundering (AML) requirements, we determined that we could no longer continue providing services to your company. As a regulated business, we periodically review our eligibility criteria and must ensure all clients meet our compliance obligations.
This decision was not taken lightly. Our AML procedures are an important part of protecting both our business and the many legitimate businesses that rely on our services.
We appreciate that this outcome was disappointing and regret any frustration caused. We wish you and your business all the best moving forward.
Appaling behaviour on termination
Have been a client of VHQ for several tears, pretty uneventful apart from delays in post. Decide to give notice and received an email confirmation with this paragraph: rather threatening and inappropriate.
"IMPORTANT: Failure to update your address within 3 days of cancellations will result in a £100 + VAT fine, as per our TERMS point 7.2. In addition, an RP07 will be filed with Companies House and we will report misuse to Google. Continued 'virtual squatting' will be reported to trading standards for investigation. If either is applicable, this could be damaging to your business."

As a provider of registered office and virtual office services, we have legal and regulatory obligations to ensure that businesses do not continue using our address without an active service in place. This includes notifying relevant organisations where appropriate and taking action to prevent misuse of our addresses.
The wording is not intended as a threat, but rather as a clear explanation of the consequences that can arise if company records, marketing listings, or other public information are not updated following cancellation.
We appreciate your comments and will take your feedback into consideration as we continue to review our customer communications.

Absolutely chronic service you get ZERO…
Absolutely chronic service you get zero for filling out their diabolically long wizard form of doom compliance check where they ask you everything except the color of your underwear - then you wait days to call their support if you do get a humanoid on the phone you get fobbed off by the clueless receptionists or pretend staff and get ZERO virtual address for paying £100 smacker to the pleasure of getting NIL. As a regulated provider, we are required to carry out compliance and anti-money laundering (AML) checks on all applications before services can be activated. While we appreciate that these checks can sometimes feel extensive, they are an important part of our legal obligations and help us maintain a secure service for all clients.
Unfortunately, following our review, we were unable to approve your application and therefore could not provide the requested service. In line with our procedures, a full refund was issued.
We reject the suggestion that we are scammers. Our compliance processes are applied consistently to all applicants and are designed to protect both our business and our customers.

Cant fault the service from the guys at Virtual Headquarters. We have been using their service for three years and never had any issues. Definitely won work from having a presence in the city-centre, so it's paid for itself.

So far, so bad
They don't seem to understand the concept of a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee, which is what trade associations are. They don't have a form which works for a PSC in this context, and they refuse to take on a company limited by guarantee (ie no shareholders) with one Director based outside of the UK.
Really disappointing experience and lack of clear communication as to why this is.

We understand that companies limited by guarantee and not-for-profit organisations can have different structures from traditional limited companies. However, as a regulated service provider, we must assess all applications against our internal compliance and risk criteria. Unfortunately, not all company structures or director arrangements are eligible for our services, including certain cases involving overseas directors.
While we appreciate that this was frustrating, our decision was based on our compliance requirements rather than a misunderstanding of your organisation's structure.

We are writing to raise a formal complaint regarding failures in your post redirection and scanned post‑to‑email services.
Not all posts are being scanned, and some redirected items are marked with an “S”, indicating they were scanned internally. However, the scans have not been received by us. This raises serious concerns regarding the handling of confidential and sensitive correspondence.
Our business address was updated four months ago, yet the redirected post continues to be delivered to our previous address, despite assurances that this issue had been resolved.
Multiple emails raising these concerns have gone unanswered, and telephone contact does not allow escalation to a responsible person.
Given the operational disruption and potential data protection implications, we require:
* Immediate investigation and resolution
* Written confirmation that no data has been misdirected
* Correction of the redirection failure
* A named contact to manage this complaint
This matter is urgent and requires prompt resolution.
