Ryan is an excellent salesman
Ryan is an excellent salesman. I have spoken to him many times over thr last few months while settling up my contract with Vodafone. Due to initial wire installation it was difficult, however Ryan has at all times been friendly and professional throughout and because of him I have stayed with Vodafone.

Where to start with Vodafone Broadband?
And so where do I start with Vodafone? Very complex set of issues, but I’ll try and be brief:
(I). Firstly, their Broadband routers lack any serious power. Signal is quite poor and even in a small apartment with relatively thin walls, I needed three (Vodafone supplied) boosters.
(ii). Said Boosters were very poor quality. The first gave up after a few months. After 5 hours on the phone, and engineer sent a replacement.
(iii). The second booster broke down about 3 weeks later. Again, a replacement was sent as I was told the router would NOT work with other boosters.
(iv). Within a couple of weeks, all three boosters had collapsed. I wasn’t prepared to spend another 5 hours on the phone. So purchased a commercial booster from Curry’s (contrary to being lied to that they would not work) and in fairness, that one new booster has flooded the property with a strong signal.
(v). Address issues. Apparently there is an address mismatch on my account (Vodafone use a different address for my property than e.g. my bank and the Post Office and almost every other company). This prevents me from accessing renewal information (needed before my price doubles). I have contacted them three times - each time they say they have fixed it. They have not. Most recently I have questioned whether the person I have contacted really is from Vodafone (I mean, why would they lie to me like this if they really were from the company)? And when speaking to them via an App this evening I was asked Security questions which potentially foolishly I answered. They sent a code to my mobile for me to confirm but it was not and never has been my mobile number.
So to try and summarise:
Broadband (full fibre) is fine and stable from data centre to router (star for that).
Peripherals are atrocious, and unreliable. No stars.
Customer service is terrible. Technical response is very slow. No stars.
Quite liberal with the truth. saying on numerous occasions they have resolved an issue when clearly they have not. Same issue. No stars.
Serious GDPR and other data protection concerns. If they can’t conduct a security check to the correct mobile number of their customers, what might they also be sending to false numbers. I have only ever had two mobile numbers and both pre-date Vodafone so there can be no errors. No stars only because I can’t give negatives.
Had to choose local Vodafone store. It is of course intended for Vodafone Broadband. But as a company …….
UPDATE: After contacting Vodafone as suggested in their response, the Live chat person REFUSED to help - and basically cut off when I said I had been directed here by Vodafone following a TrustPilot review. If you need any further evidence of HOW Vodafone treat their customers, you have it……..
