My flight was cancelled and I called…
My flight was cancelled and I called Webjet to get a resolution or at least options to sort out my flight. I was on the line for 45 min and the lady that attended me at around 6pm blandly lied to me and told me the flight hadn’t been cancelled and told me to go to the airport. I asked her to please send me an email with that information because the flight appeared cancelled everywhere online and she HANG UP THE PHONE CALL!! Never using or recommending Webjet again. Also, I’ll be writing reviews everywhere I can about this experience.

We understand that becoming unwell before a trip can be a difficult and stressful situation. When changes or cancellations are requested due to illness or compassionate circumstances, these requests are assessed in accordance with the airline's fare rules and policies.
Where a customer is unable to travel due to illness, airlines may consider exceptions on compassionate grounds. However, this typically requires supporting documentation and remains subject to the airline's review and approval. As the booking agent, Webjet is required to follow the airline's policies and cannot independently authorise refunds, credits, or fee waivers outside of those guidelines.

Terrible platform
Terrible platform. Completely useless in assisting with cancellations or amendments to bookings. The customer is responsible for contacting airlines and accommodations themselves. The customer service is absolutely deplorable. As unhelpful as possible. They simply read you hotel or airline policies and tell you to call them yourself but then you have to call them back because they have your money!
