They looked after my husband and myself from when we first went in, without being pushy, just explaining the various qualities of artificial grass . Very knowledgeable and made our selection much easier. Our order was ready to be collected at the day and time promised.

I bought the lino for the bathroom at a reasonable price....but the fitting is absolutely ridiculous it's short all around the bathroom and not fitted up to the skirting boards I wouldn't mind but we have more waste than the so called fitter used very very poor and a complete waste of money I will not be using Wilson's carpets again

The worst place to go, I've ordered to get my flooring done after the kitchen been fitted, and been waiting for about 3 weeks or more and its been now getting silly, they was ordered to track down the fitter and its been taking a piss take.
so I gone and went in and finally got a full refund .

After to and froing with jo from customer service with emails all a waste of time she wanted me to visit the store in worksop that i had a lot hassle and stress with for the money they owe me from a refund should have got a full refund as everything was returned to them that i had what a waste of time and they cant send company cheques that says a lot wont be visiting any wilsons shops again at all.

Lovely lady at the reception desk guided through all options. They gave us amazing price, btw we also checked 2 other places.
They Lincoln shop is very welcoming, tidy and spacious. Job been done quickly and without any issues, I am very happy with the result.

Absolutely apalling service. Carpet poorly laid on stairs and landing in November, inspected by them and agrred with us. Late February came with replacement carpet, the wrong colour. We chased them for updates regarding a replacement, never updated without us contacting them. Eventually decided we'd had enough and asked for our money back. No problem they said but our card we'd payed on has been renewed, oh I can't do that in store the numbers are different, email head office it will be in the bank in 2 hours. We have supplied all details requested and still no money returned. Subsequent emails ignored, no phone number to customer care, shop staff 'I'm just a salesman'.
We've had good service in the past, but won't use them again.
There should be a way to give 0 stars as they don't deserve any.
Avoid!
It looks like its small claims court for us to get our money back. Disgusted with their service to be honest.

Finally a reply to my wife, they will pass it on to the accounts department but not refunded yet and only offering for carpet not fiting. I'm sure my contract is with them regardless of subcontracting the fitting under the consumer right act and or the sale of goods act. Either way I should not be out of pocket by 1 penny as I have no carpet and they have failed to replace it.
Originally bought from the Barnsley branch at Stairfoot back in November 2025. Complained the day of fitting as it had been mis measured but the estimator and didn't fit.

From the moment we walked into store and someone behind the distant counter called across the floor to ask if we were okay, we felt that we were on a hiding to nothing. Not once did he move from the spot he was presumably sitting at.

We're buying a new build house that is just shy of 1600 square feet and need to floor the entire property. However, it appeared that he really didn't want us to buy from Wilsons. Yes, he fiddled about on a calculator a bit and produced some figures for carpet fitting but not the LVT hard flooring we needed. We walked out none the wiser after he didn't attempt to show us carpets either. Probably a sale between twelve and fifteen thousand pounds gone.

Great choice of vinyl floorcoverings. I even took home a sample to see what it looked like in situ.
Easy to order and book fitting.
Fitters really helpful, as there was a small problem with my old floor.

My experience was excellent both with customers experience and getting the job done.

The products they supply are of very good standard and wide variety of choice but the ‘fitting service’ leaves much to be desired!!

Ordered some LV flooring with extra length as there needed to be a join (with pattern).
They basically f**ked the join up and left it like patchwork!!
Also took the door off its hinges to fit floor, put it back on wrong and now does not even nearly close.
Made a formal complaint but still waiting for a reply…. 6 months.

I was looking for artificial grass & didn't realise that Wilson's carpets sold it until I googled it . There was lots of choice & great quality & I quickly chose & ordered the one I liked . I was told it would arrive in two days & it did ! They rang to tell me it was there & we picked it up the next day . It's been laid in my back garden & it looks fabulous. . I'm very happy with the quality, the service & value for money .
