The Window Film Company Opiniões 

We ordered two films, having used the company before and having had a great experience. These two were virtually impossible to apply - there was a boarder that would not stay in place, and with their applied tape you could not get the air bubbles out without damaging the film - and by that time, of course, the company say they will take no responsibility. Their customer service is very slow and really do not seem to care, very disappointing.

Last year had this company supply and fit the medium reflective silver film on my conservatory windows. This was carried out efficiently and there have been no problems. Due to the very hot summer we had last year, decided in February 2019 to have the supertint glass fitted to my pilkington blue tint solar glass conservatory roof (which does not live up to expectations). Again supply and fitting was carried out efficiently and professionally. All waste and any mess cleared up and taken away. I have been very happy with the work done. I decided to use the company to fit the film so that I did not experience any problems with fitting and to benefit from the 10 year guarantee. Unfortunately, I have had to replace a blown unit that had the medium reflective film from last year on it, and the company kindly replaced and fitted the film for free.

Website said order would have free delivery, yet a charge of £2.99 is added at check out. asked them about it and said the charge applied and it was the website that was wrong.

I bought some custom sized frosted window film to replace some cheap film I got off Amazon. The custom sized cuts made it so easy. The instructions were simple to follow. I now have 2 windows covered and it took less than 20 minutes to fit on my own.
It's for an office so I wanted the light but not the sun, I also wanted to stop passersby from staring in. It's done the job perfectly.
Delivery and packaging were excellent.
Would highly recommend the company and product.

Plain film is fine, complicated designs not fit for purpose. Customer services insinuated that I wasn't telling the truth about the product being damaged on delivery. Don't bother, there are other products out there.

Had the best experience with this company! They were so helpful over the phone, helped me measure correctly, booked a date and the fitter was fast and did a great job. Couldn't be happier! The white printed onto frosted vinyl is so private and keeps the dogs from looking out the windows and barking at passers by :)

The product (plain frosted window film cut to size) was delivered as promised and included instructions. Not being confident at installing the film myself I asked a handyman whom I have used for years to install it. He read the instructions and when required placed the film on a flat surface ad started removing the backing material. The film then curled in on itself and stuck down to itself. It did this wherever the backing was removed. In addition creases appeared so that in the end the film was unusable. Having explained this to The Window Film Company and asked about having it installed by one of their "team" I got a short reply saying that they could not help me as they were full to capacity. No further suggestions were made either with regard to my problem with the film curling up or how to get the film fitted. Not their problem apparently. Would not recommend the product or the company on this basis!

I've made two purchases recently and I like the film. Although I've only received my first order to date, the product seems good.

Delivery however has been disappointing, being delayed both times.

*update*

I received my second order and the film was completely different to my first order. It came with no backing paper and was not sticky like the first order.

I've put the film up as I assume it should be applied, as the instructions are for film with backing paper I'm not sure. However, the film is already falling off the windows, I'm really really disappointed and wasted a lot of money.

I loved the first order, hence why I made a second purchase. I'd be to worried to order again as I've no idea which type of film I'd receive.

*UPDATE*

I've gone from rating The Window Film Company a 3* to 2* to 4*.

I have since my last update, emailed the company with my concerns and received a reply.

It seems I am an idiot and the reason the film is coming off the window is purely because I've not removed the backing paper. On close inspection I am surprised, but there is backing paper. Although it's cut at exactly the same size as the film, unlike my first order which you could clearly see it to remove it, it is there none the less.

I've now been able to put the film up correctly, which I'm very happy about. I'm still a little confused as to why the film is so different to my first order though, and to be honest I prefer the film I received first. It's not as opaque as the more recent film, and looks much more professional.

I do plan on ordering more film now, but I will need to email/call the company if I purchase anything different as I would really like to have film that was as the first order I made, and I'm still completely confused as to why it's so different.

The company also explained that my orders did arrive in the scheduled time frame. However, when I ordered I was confronted with 'rapid delivery' displayed on the item, and I later received an email to inform me that my order had been delayed. Perhaps the company is to efficient and I wouldn't have thought my purchase was late if I hadn't received the emails. My mistake.

In summary, I am impressed with the company and I do love the product, and have recommended to family and friends.

This stuff works!! Fitted to our consevratory by two friendly and efficient guys. Payment not required until completion. Has made a huge improvement......we can use our conservatory in summer.
