Great service and excellent price, customer service very friendly and helpful

Updated review - the initial service was still excellent but post sales has been the total opposite. Car was sold with a 1 month engine and gearbox warranty and any issue let them know and it will be sorted. This wasnt the case as within 2 weeks the car developed an engine fault which was reported and received local quote to repair as advised. Then told that they would only cover part of the cost of the repair or they will have the car recovered to be fixed but when that option selected then told I would have to return the car (which can't be driven). After over a week of back and forth trying to sort I have now had to arrange repair myself at a significant cost to myself. Very disappointing after purchasing the car that a major fault was not rectified and poor customer service post sale by being given different information as they didn't understand their own warranty that was in place which is very misleading when people are spending a lot of money on a car and expect that peace of mind even for that short period

So I had written a review previously for these guys. I had written a positive review as at the time things seemed to have gone smoothly. I had been encouraged to write this before we closed the deal which was a little weird but I thought nothing of it. I brought a car which I had travelled from Devon to collect. 2 hours into my journey home and the dashboard lit up with warnings. I had contacted the garage and sent photos of the error messages and was told to sort it and they would cover the cost. I brought a new battery costing over 200 which did not solve the issue. I informed the garage that I was not happy and wanted to return the car and asked for a manager to call me. It is when you have an issue with a product that you can see the true customer service of a place. And this was non existent. I had to call several times a day, I had to send emails and got no response. I had to seek advice from trading standards, auto trader. Finally I decided to make the drive back up and leave the car with them. They wanted to have all the paperwork which I refused until they had agreed in writing to refund the car. This was such an effort. I had it in writing that the refund would be with me on Monday. I had to call and call and finally on the wed got the refund. All I wanted was good communication. I really liked the car and if they had worked with me we could have got it sorted. Please be aware of this garage and ensure you get things in writing. If you have any issues get onto the CAB and trading standards and auto trader. They were all really useful and helpful.

Misold a car and refused to fixed

Having spent £16k+ on a car it was delivered with unroadworthy / bald tyres … having decided to just get the tyres changed at my own expense I then discover the vehicle has an oil leak - why wasn’t the vehicle checked prior to it being sold? Why am I having to do all the chasing - I hope this gets resolved speedily - wish I still had my old car to be quite honest!

I purchased a Ford Focus and my dealings were predominantly with Kadir but also Sanjay.

I found their approach pleasant, welcoming and not at all pressured.

Following my purchase, the car developed a fault (unbeknown to Kadir and Sanjay). They settled the problem swiftly and with good grace.

I don't often buy cars and less often still from dealerships but, based on my experience, I would certainly recommend Your Car Supermarket and in particular Kadir and Sanjay.

First off be warned that this dealer does not accept credit card payments.

We were left to inspect the car without interruption and given the keys for a test drive by ourselves.
Intimate knowledge on the vehicle in question and previous owner(s) was a little lacking but the service history was there...

Overall a stress free experience, Afrah and John were respectful and helpful, here's hoping the car doesn't fall apart... I'll be back here if it does!

Week 2 Edit: Flagged a few minor repairs that had gone unnoticed when we purchased and the Dealer's mechanic sorted them out no questions asked.
