It was my first time ordering from Ziiaonline. First of all I was so impressed by the huge selection that is available on their website and how easy it is to customise your outfit. I ordered two outfits from them. I have received them today and they are perfect. They have been adjusted and stitched for my height. I have to say I am super impressed by the care and effort put into the order. In the past I have had an awful time ordering online from other websites so I am always cautious. I definitely recommend ordering your outfits from here without any hesitation. I have already placed some more orders with them.

You’ve said twice that I “repeatedly” asked to see the outfit, but you’ve failed to mention that you didn’t respond until I chased you. I didn’t message repeatedly for no reason, I literally followed up because you hadn’t sent the video I requested. When you finally did respond nearly two weeks later, you still didn’t send all the videos I asked for. Please don’t frame that as though you were doing me a favour.
You also keep saying the order went through “stages,” yet you never communicated that to me as the customer. If you’re relying on that as justification for refusing cancellation, then why wasn’t I updated that it was in progress? That’s something you’ve avoided addressing from my very first emails. You also don’t provide any clear timeline for cancellation in your terms, which is something that should be clearly stated.
At no point did I say there was “no communication.” I stated the facts:
- I placed an order
- received an automated email confirmation, and nothing further unless I reached out myself. The only communication beyond that was when I had to repeatedly ask for a video....something you keep bringing up yourself.
I’m also unclear why you’ve claimed you won both disputes or they 'sided' with you. I closed one myself and reopened it due to the ongoing lack of communication. Both the bank and Klarna are currently siding with me, largely because you failed to respond to them as well. That’s the reason this process has dragged on. It’s incorrect to say they sided with you.
The fact that I had to sell the outfit to recover my money is unacceptable. Publicly promoting a “refund or replace” policy as though it’s exceptional, when it’s standard consumer practice, doesn’t change how this situation was handled.
We both have the full email chain as evidence. I remained calm throughout this process despite having to open two disputes, but customers are not going to accept inconsistent terms, poor communication, or policies applied without clarity.
Your service throughout this situation has been extremely disappointing. Klarna had to step in because basic information, including your returns address, which I requested multiple times and even offered to cover the cost for...was never provided.
Of course you will not respond to this email because you know i'm right. I will happily keep going because there are points that you didn't even answer. You've got your payment, which is great, but this doesn't mean I'm not going to add this on social media. I'm not a liar, no have I ever had to do this, but I'm tired of Asian business businesses thinking that they're always right with nothing to back them up with.

I would not recommend purchasing from this brand based on my recent experience.
I placed an order for an unstitched outfit on 8th January. On 25th January, I requested cancellation as my event was no longer going ahead. During that time, I received no communication beyond the initial confirmation email, no progress updates or dispatch notifications.
The website does not clearly state any cancellation timeframe. It mentions that “orders cannot be cancelled once production begins” and that a cancellation fee may be deducted during production. However, it does not define when production begins, nor was I offered the option to pay a cancellation fee! Nowhere on the website did it state a cancellation time frame (for example 7–14 days). As a customer, I reasonably assumed I could cancel before dispatch.
Interestingly, my order was dispatched the day after I emailed requesting cancellation. I was then informed that it could no longer be cancelled because it had passed “final quality checks” and was being prepared for dispatch.
When I attempted to resolve the matter, I was told I would need to return the item at my own cost and have a £5 fee deducted, despite having tried to cancel prior to dispatch and despite unclear cancellation terms. When I asked for the returns address under reasonable conditions, it was not provided. And I asked MULTIPLE times for a returns address.
I escalated the matter through Klarna. After weeks of back and forth and no resolution, I ultimately sold the outfit myself and paid Klarna to close the dispute and to not deal with this merchant.
Clear policies and transparent communication are essential when running an online business. Unfortunately, this experience lacked both and resulted in nearly two months of unnecessary stress.

I was honestly quite nervous ordering a Pakistani outfit online, especially for an important occasion, because it can be such a hit and miss.
But ZIIA made the whole process way easier than I expected. Communication was clear, the outfit arrived when they said it would, and the stitching and quality were really good.
What stood out most for me was Afifa’s attention to detail. It actually feels like you’ve got a personal shopper / stylist helping you rather than just ordering from a page and hoping for the best.
You can tell she understands all the usual issues people face when ordering and really tries to avoid them. I’d definitely order again and recommend ZIIA to anyone who’s unsure.

Absolutely Disgraceful Experience – Avoid at All Costs
Ziia Online has been, in my personal experience, one of the most unprofessional and shockingly unethical companies I have ever dealt with. After years of being a loyal customer—and recommending them to countless friends and family—the way they handled my last order was nothing short of disgusting.
Before their newly introduced “Refund or Replace” rule, I purchased an outfit for over £500 that arrived damaged. Instead of resolving the issue promptly or professionally, the company dragged their feet and showed zero accountability. I was forced to go through Citizens Advice and even threaten legal action just to receive the refund and return-cost coverage that any reputable business would have issued immediately.
The entire process was appalling and showed a complete lack of integrity, respect, and basic customer care. After everything I had to endure, I will never purchase from Ziia Online again and have strongly advised all my friends and family to steer clear.
No consumer should ever have to fight this hard to be treated fairly.
Update: response to ziia’s reaponse
From day one, I asked for the return details so I could send the outfit back, and it was you who made the process difficult. Under consumer regulations, customers are not responsible for return postage when an item is faulty or not as described—yet you insisted that I pay for it.
Please stop misleading your customers. The refund was never reversed, and I have proof of this.
I stand by my review and strongly advise other customers to avoid this company.
