Very complicated and unsafe app for your funds. I can't even find my card.

Worst app ever, please don’t use! My account was debited 5 times without actually sending the money! This app is a fraud and the customer service is rubbish, they are unprofessional and they are operating scams by debiting money without actually carrying out the transactions! Do not use Afriex

They have been very responsive and reliable so far

They are always spot on if there is an issue. A real person will reach out to discuss and they will reach out several times if needed until an issue is resolved. They are my number one choice for money transfers with no hassle and instant processing. I use them at least twice a month.

The management and customer service coordination of this app have been extremely disappointing.

I sent money to Nigeria ($725), and due to a system glitch, the recipient was credited three times. I immediately informed customer support and was assured the issue would be escalated and resolved. We were provided with an account to refund the excess payment, and we complied immediately.

Unfortunately, after the refund was made, I started experiencing indiscriminate deductions from my wallet, and a hold was placed on the recipient’s bank account. Although the deductions from my wallet were eventually reversed, the recipient’s account remains on hold.

Despite multiple attempts to get this resolved, customer service representatives repeatedly asked me to retell the entire story from the beginning, showing a complete lack of coordination and follow-through. The case was eventually marked as “resolved,” even though the recipient’s account has remained locked for over a week after all refund obligations were fulfilled.

This unnecessary hold has caused significant financial loss and distress to the recipient, and nothing can be done until the app operators communicate properly with the recipient bank to remove the restriction.

This entire experience has been frustrating, unprofessional, and poorly managed. You seriously need to do better!

The people behind this app are becoming shady.. when you send out money, they automatically deposit an equivalent amount from your linked card without your consent/approval. This way they forced you to keep money in their app and at the same time holding your money on ransom.. not keen if the money in your account is for bills, feeding etc. This is very bad ethics. When you reach out to their customer service, they don’t get back to you as promised and never work on their shortcomings. They are only particular about making their own money leaving their customer’s bill or other expenses to suffer as they hold your money in their wallets without the person’s consent. I pray the reality of life catches up on them. Soon they will know that reviews are like credit score.. like a business life span.. I hope people desist from using their apps.

My mum wanted to send money from Nigeria to the UK. First, they said the beneficiary had to download an account, then they there was so much confusion regarding the wallet tranfers. Then when the money was 'sent' they said the app is ynder maintaniance...like what? How are you maintaining at the time people are trying to send money? Ridiculous. We finally got the money refunded but not before they took some money from themselve. N200k reduced to N184k...never again they've obviously paid to put their names on the top of the google search, but do not fall for that! Never ever again. Good riddance!!

please get another app for transfers it works when it feels like.i attempted to do a transfer from them . it was unsuccesful and i was charged then when i message them they say i prove card is mine like really the security youre using in the app seems good like its the owner can only link the card.return the old app it used to be good

I made a forex transfer to CAD and was shocked to find I couldn’t withdraw my own money. I spent over two weeks going back and forth with customer service, who repeatedly promised to resolve the issue but never did. Because I urgently needed the funds, I had to transfer everything back to the original currency and use another app to complete the transaction—losing money in the process. Very disappointing and not an experience I’d want anyone else to go through.
