I am so so grateful to have Afriex because they are very consistent and very helpful when something doesn’t sit right. I have been telling family members about the app so we can all send funds through the app here in the USA. Thank you so much Afriex for being awesome and for not giving up on me when I needed you all the most.

The approval time for money deposits is excessive, sometimes taking almost an entire day. Emergencies can arise, and a person in the hospital may require urgent funds for treatment. If this process could be expedited, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

There's some level of falsehood with their rates. They show one thing and credit another less amount to the recipient. They promised cashback on the first transfer, but they didn’t deliver.

Sometimes transactions are DECLINED for unknown reasons which is frustrating

It says instant transfer but It has been processing for hours.customer service is telling me 1-2 days😌

You guys need an overhaul..I do not recommend this app at all..transactions will say successful but the receipent has yet to receive the transaction..very slow..I do not recommend this app. All they do is apologize without concrete solutions. Stay far away from this app

This is the worst app ever to use! And the customer support never helps, just closes tour ticket and ask you to wait as if i haven’t been patient enough smh

I’ve been using Afriex for about a week now, and I have to say, the app itself is great—super intuitive and easy to navigate!

The absolute standout feature for me is the customer support. I really appreciate how fast and helpful the team is whenever I have a question. Knowing that they are available 24/7 gives me so much peace of mind, and it’s clear they truly care about their users!

The only area where I see room for improvement is the M-PESA to Afriex deposit speed. Currently, it takes a bit too long for the funds to reflect in my account. There are many times when I need my funds urgently, and the delay can be a bit stressful.

If the team could streamline this process to make deposits more instant, this app would be a perfect 10/10! Other than that, I’m a very happy user and highly recommend it for the service alone.

As a first time user, I was extremely disappointed.
I made an urgent transfer, they cancelled my transfer while I was asleep and credited the money to the account, not my card.
I made the transfer again and it took more then 6 hours to process.

I have never ever heard of or dealt with you lot. How did you get hold of my Identifiable information? This is a GDPR breach and you will pay.

I am beyond frustrated with Afriex. They are currently holding my funds with no clear explanation and no timeline for release.

I have contacted their support team multiple times, only to receive the same copy-paste corporate templates. They claim they are diligently working on the issue, but they refuse to provide a single concrete fact about why my money is being withheld or when I will get it back.

It is completely unacceptable for a financial service to go silent on a customer’s money. Professional emails don't pay bills, my money does. If you value your peace of mind and want a service that actually respects your hard earned funds, STAY AWAY FROM AFRIEX.

I will update this review if and when they actually decide to do the right thing and release my money, but until then, consider this a warning to everyone else.

Their handling of customer issues is poor. It takes weeks to resolve issues caused on their end
