Amazing customer service!

I had some issues with sizing and Jodie the customer service rep was so incredibly kind and helpful - went the extra mile to ensure I got what I needed and I really appreciated all her help!

First time shopping with Aligne

It is my first time shopping with Aligne on line and I have to say the customer service from Jodie in particular, is truly exceptional. It's a level of service that is rarely found with other companies. Jodie truly goes the extra mile to ensure that as a customer you are truly satisfied. Well done to Aligne for having Jodie as the customer support person. She's a tremendous asset to your company.

I love this company

I love this company, their clothes are effortlessly stylish, very flattering, excellent quality and affordably priced.
I have bought from them variously a great olive velvet fitted jacket, a punchy red cord jacket, a Ali McGraw /70's inspired tie waist cord blazer, three different denim dresses, a beautiful mint green crop jacket, a denim bolero and cool silver grey denim long line fitted blazer. All of which attract compliments all the time.
I have bought from Liberty's or online but also more recently went to their sample sale. I regretted not having bought the denim bolero and contacted them to see if it was still possible to buy after their sale and Jodie kindly organised this for me very efficiently.
The staff I met at the sale were all super helpful and clearly committed to the brand

Brilliant customer service

Brilliant customer service. Jodie on the customer service team went above and beyond to help me with my request, and doing so with great communication and a friendly tone. This is not always a given these days, but heartwarming when it happens. Thank you!

It’s ALL about the experience which at…

It’s ALL about the experience which at Aligne is amazing. I have never bought anything from Aligne before and my first order was a dress. When my parcel arrived, it actually had a different item in it BUT the experience of dealing with Jodie in customer services was amazing. She quickly and efficiently sorted the issue. Sent the dress that was ordered and helped to process the return so it was hassle free. Fabulous service and the dress is gorgeous

The fat they are willing to come back to rectify their mistakes in the customer service they deserve a five star

I've changed my review because I can't believe a breakthrough has actually happened apparently the reason why the refund was given because oughta it was automatic and there wasn't a place for me to navigate to actually let them know that I need an exchange so some cross wires were there but the fact that they have the efforts to come back to me so that they can request for me to have another goal at choosing a smaller size I am very happy at least I don't have to repurchase it again but a higher rate because I did actually paid for them in the sample cell the quality of their clothes are magnificent I get so much compliments on when I'm wearing one of their pieces you can just tell that they are carefully in well-made and they are worth it. Originally I did have a one-star not because of the clothes but because of the customer service but they have listened to me about the negative side of their customer service and they have now come back to try and change that which I think is very honorable so they deserved to have a better rating than one star the fact that they are willing to do that and come back and not neglect their customers the five star for me already

Shockingly poor sizing information and consistency and yet returns cost

I ordered several items from Aligne a few years ago when it first opened and all of them were massive, not in the way that's currently fashionable but unwearably huge. Then it was a battle to prove I had returned the items and get a refund. I'm someone who almost never returns items.

I decided to give things another go and ordered a coat on sale so that at least I wouldn't lose much money if things went wrong. I guessed they would have had to have fixed the sizing issues by now but ordered a size down just in case. I checked my measurements against the size guide.

When the coat arrived, it was again unwearable because it was enormous. In addition, an attached cape didn't fit the coat--the cape was too narrow at the shoulders compared to the underlying jacket and bunched up.

To add insult to injury, shipping costs more than it has to because they use a premium service, and I had to pay for the return.

I emailed them to let them know (1) how off the sizing was and (2) about the quality control issues with the sizing of the attached cape and they have written back to say that they checked and there's no quality control issue (not true) and this:

"As advised, our size guides are intended as a general reference to standard sizing and are not specific to each individual style, cut, or fit. This is why we always encourage customers to reach out to us prior to purchasing if they have concerns or would like more detailed guidance on a particular garment."

So be aware that YOU are responsible for ensuring that their size guides are correct! Shocking customer service and who can afford to shop where returns cost but the size guides are so poor that it's a guess as to whether something will fit. I won't be going back.

Edited in response to their reply. When I received my "refund" they had somehow deducted nearly £10 from what I paid. Beware.

Our size guides are intended as a general reference to standard sizing rather than being style-specific, as fit can vary significantly depending on cut and design. For this reason, we do encourage customers to contact our customer care team for personalised sizing advice prior to purchase - something we’re always very happy to help with to ensure the best possible fit.

Regarding returns, charging for return shipping is now fairly standard practice across many online retailers, particularly for sale purchases. Our team did correspond with you by email and provided full guidance on how to return the item for a refund in line with our returns policy.

We’re sorry that this experience has meant Aligne wasn’t right for you, but we do appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, which is always passed on internally.

Still waiting for my order

I placed an order on 24-Dec, no update until 29-Dec stating that it has been despatched. When checking the tracking link provided, the item had not yet been send to the courier, just the tracking had been generated.

Understandably, holidays are busy but this was too much of a delay for me so I emailed them at their customerservice email on 3-Jan requesting a cancellation and refund since the item still had not moved.

After I emailed them to cancel, a few days later on 5-Jan I received a depatch email (again) and now on 7-Jan the item is out for delivery. I have requested a cancellation before it was actually depatched so I emailed again to advise that I would still be looking for a full refund when I now return the item.

This is because the despatch and delivery time is outside their specified window, with no notice of a delay and they have charged for a delivery service that they did not provide and they also mention a restocking / return fee which I do not expect to pay in this instance.

Unfortunately I am yet to receive a reply or acknowledgement of either of my 2 emails (and 1 message through their website) so not sure how other customers are praising their customer service when I have not received any such service for my order.

Just hoping I actually get my refund when I return but first and last time ordering from them.

During particularly busy times, such as Christmas and New Year, our response times can be slightly longer than usual. We do ask customers not to send follow-up messages, as this can unfortunately delay responses further by pushing enquiries to the back of the queue.

All orders were dispatched within our stated timeframe; however, there were some delays within the courier network due to additional bank holidays and seasonal volume. In some cases, tracking information is generated before the parcel is physically scanned by the courier, which can make it appear as though there has been no movement.

We’d really like the opportunity to look into this properly and resolve it for you. If you’re happy to do so, please contact us again with your order number and details, and we’ll make sure someone reaches out to assist you directly.

Amazing customer service!!

Amazing customer service from Jodie, she helped me with a delivery issue over Christmas, she was so kind and offered a really generous solution and is reorganising the delivery to Europe instead of the Uk.

No response from customer service

I’ve never had to rate a company 1 star on trustpilot before. But I don’t understand how else to get a response from Aligne. I can see that many others have had the same issues. I ordered a top 3 weeks ago and it’s not arrived. I emailed Aligne, the last time a week ago - and I’ve not heard anything from them. I’ve been charged £150. Terrible customer service for a brand that pitches themselves as a small brand supposedly selling quality.

Poor quality and no customer service :Spent 175 Pounds on the Betty jacket…

Spent 175 Pounds on the Betty jacket for it to come apart within the year / emailed twice for help and received no response. Shocking and will not be buying from them again. Poor quality at high prices.
