I recently had a problem with a delivery through Royal Mail. I messaged Aligne and they sorted it out in 24 hours. I couldn’t ask for more!

Avoid if you’re in the EU
I ordered a coat from Aligne a few months ago, but got hit with a request for payment of customs charges even though the website explicitly said the charges would be covered. I got in touch with customer services, and they told me they had paid the charges. My order arrived, I was happy, until I got a demand for late payment from fedex… I got in touch with Aligne again, was assured it was sorted and that I did not need to take any action. All was fine, until today, when I got ANOTHER request for payment of the customs charges, this time with a threat to refer me to a debt collection agency for non payment. Still awaiting a response to my third customer services query on this issue.
I won’t be ordering again, even though I liked the coat, and I would advise any customers in the EU to avoid too.
nightmare shipping times/lost orders galore
I ordered from this company over two weeks ago, I was so excited to get an email straight away saying the order was displaced, however FedEx said they are yet to receive the package from Aligne to ship…
I’m pretty heartbroken as I have had my eyes on this dress for a while and finally decided to splurge some savings to buy it for my birthday. I ordered it a month in advance, but now it looks like it won’t get to me before then..
I have emailed Aligne only to get one back saying they would get back to me in 3-5 days, however it has now been a week. There are no other ways to contact them. I have even tried instagram without any luck.
I doubt very much that I will ever order from this company again, which is sad because the clothes are so lovely 💔

*UPDATE* I have now been contacted by Jodie in customer services who was very helpful and efficient - perhaps my review was the push required. Unfortunately I still won't be ordering again but wanted to at least acknowledge that when customer services finally gets in touch, they do take action.* I wish I'd looked at the reviews first - like so many others I am still waiting after 3 weeks for a dress I ordered (I'm in the UK so no shipping issues). Apparently it shipped the day after the order, but Royal Mail have never received it, so I seriously doubt it ever left the warehouse. Absolutely no response via email and the website contact form. I think it should be a legal requirement for online retail businesses to have either live chat (with an actual person) or a phone number. It seems no coincidence that Aligne has neither of these. What a shame as the clothes design is fabulous. I would like to put zero stars as have yet to receive an item I have paid for in full. I will be contacting my credit card company in the hope they can take this issue further and obtain a refund. Honestly, do not deal with this company
I bought a pair of velvet trousers
I bought a pair of velvet trousers. The fit was fab and the quality was really excellent. I would have preferred a brighter colour, but I do understand that in winter people tend to prefer more muted colours. The service was also prompt and excellent. I wish them well.

Very Helpful Team at Aligne
While the items I ordered didn't work out for me, I had great support working with the team at Aligne to get my items returned.
Nice style, poor quality, poor value
I've bought a number of items from ALIGNE in recent years. The company claims to have values of "conscious clothing" and does identify where items are made, as well as clear labelling for organic textiles, generally providing an inclusive range of sizing and interesting styles.
However - and this is a big one for me - the quality of items is variable, and particularly for items made outside the EU, the quality is poor. I've bought corduroy trousers that wore away on the inside leg within a month; a jumpsuit whose strap broke after just a few washes; and returned other items where the finish is just too poor to be wearable.
I think there is a problem with the manufacturing quality assurance process for ALIGNE - which is an issue for me as a typical customer who is looking for high quality edgy styles that last. Sustainability is also about durability, and this is where ALIGNE's range really lets it down. ALIGNE - when you fix your quality problems, let me know please.

I’m truly happy with the service I received from Aligne , Jodie from customer services in particular!. I ordered a dress , somehow between dispatch and delivery service my dress got mixed up with someone else’s parcel which was from a completely different company. As you can imagine I was very disappointed.
Once my issue had been picked up by Jodie at customer services the issue was resolved with minimal fuss. I absolutely would recommend this company.
More information which is just as useful. The dress itself is amazing. I cannot wait to wear it at every available opportunity. It’s everything I hoped it would be.

I have bought quite a few pieces from Aligne and I just love their clothes.
I purchased a trench coat recently, and unfortunately the belt was missing when it arrived. I loved the coat so didn't want to send it back. I emailed customer services to let them know and they got back to me straight away. Jodie was super helpful and a new belt arrived within a couple of days. Excellent customer service and now I love my coat even more.
This is why I love to shop with smaller, independent labels. ♥️
