After 25 days BeagleSt still could not fix a typo!
Based on the very high ratings of Beagle Street here on TrustPilot, I trusted this company, and took out a joint Life Insurance policy covering me and my wife.
I have, so far, never died and luckily neither did my wife, therefore I cannot give any feedback on the claims/payback however I have an ongoing name change request to fix a typo which was requested 25 days ago.
They have not been able to complete a simple change in 25 days.
I called them 3 times and sent 4 emails times.
Over the phone, their Help Desk agents asked me to send an ID via email, but still no joy.
When I call them they keep blaming the notorious recent CrowdStrike / IT issue for the delay but come on, if you are keeping your records in stone tablets you should still be able to update it in 25 days. My dentist, GP etc. all were impacted by it but for 1 or 2 days.
CrowdStrike cannot be the source of all your problems for the rest of your life.
I am now considering leaving them as they do not seem to be trustworthy to fix a typo in a month.

Friendly and efficient
Rang to set up a policy today, hold times were minimal and all staff were helpful and efficient. Spoke to Sami who was very friendly and set up my policy with ease.

Great Customer Service
I recently wanted to change my policy with beagle street from decreasing cover to a set amount. Abdul called me back to help me finish my application. He was very helpful in explaining varying levels of cover to suit my needs. There was no hard sell and he found me the perfect cover for my circumstances. Great to deal with a company that trains their staff correctly in customer service. Thanks again Abdul for your help.

Really helpful staff explaining everything clear to me so I can understand the policy and it's benefits, polite and took the time to find the best product for me, would have given 5 stars but the documents emailed to me were sent on a zip file that I cannot open.

Do not try applying online
In trying to use this to get life insurance for myself and my partner, it put in her name for both of us despite us putting in both our names and gave no option to change it. After taking ages trying to sort that, it arbitrarily dropped critical illness cover and provided no reason, particularly when we have no ongoing illness or issues. Do not use online application for these people, it will just cause you pain

Violeta and Abdul have been great
Just got off the phone having had first Violeta then Abdul helping me through my queries. Had the best customer Service experience in some time. Clear, friendly communication, helpful manner and overall pleasant experience. I already had one cover, but wanted to change to a new, cheaper one with them and they helped me navigate through dates and set-up so I don't have overlaps in payments or periods uncovered. All very straight forward.
