Bought the above model after seeing the BenQ website.
Its been a total nightmare, in many respects, for example.
The monitor needs a firmware upgrade. With software from their website called ‘ display quickit ‘
I could download the upgrade, but not run it.
I tried running it on windows and 2 macs.
- i was on live chat for 1 hour, chatting with a customer support agent, they kept asking me similar questions and kept repeating themselves and instructions. After pleading with them, they transfered my issue to ‘ tech ‘
‘tech’ are only in Italy, ( well that was the case on 19 april ) with NO telephone number.
You had to wait for ‘ tech’ to email you. I told them i was disabled and had issues with texting etc, and ‘ please call me ‘ they refused.
I was sending messages via email to ‘tech’ it seemed like we was having a conversation, but ‘tech’ kept asking me to ‘ reboot and uninstall, and re sintall and try again’
all of the tasks i had done and re - done.
Its staggering that BenQ have NO tech to phone a customer, the customer has to wait for tech to return emails. As of this minute ‘tech’ have not answered the last email, or given a solution to download the firmware upgrade.
The firmware upgrade is important, otherwise the monitor will only be in a low resolution, NOT 4K, i have read online that BenQ 5 K monitors have the same issue.
Also the Monitor has weird lines on the screen that come and go, it looks like an old used monitor, ( which its not its new and unpacked )
I was trying out Ben Q monitor, as my work office needs 24 New monitorrs which we was going to buy from Ben Q.
i have no idea when or if Ben Q’s customer service or Tech will reply to the email and tell its customer how to run firmware upgrade.
Very helpful support to find the best solution to solve the problem!
Also very good follow up of the file.

Benq are such a great company! The products are top quality at excellent prices, and their Support Team are excellent - cases handled quickly, effectively and to the best outcome one can expect. I've been using Benq projectors, monitors and cameras and was always amazed by how well they are made and the picture quality they provide. A brand I'll stick with.

J'ai acheté un videoprojecteur benq gp500 sur le site benq reconditionne grade A, quand je l'ai reçu la bague de mise au point du zoom était bloquée.
J'ai donc demandé un retour a benq dans le cadre des 30 jours de retour client.
J'ai expédié le videoprojecteur en holland et j'ai reçu l'avis de réception Ups.
Trois jours plus tard je reçois un mail de benq m'indiquant que je ne serais pas remboursé car le videoprojecteur n'est pas dans le colis !
Je ne vais pas en rester là et surtout n'achetez pas chez ces bandits !

Vidéoprojecteur mort après seulement 1000 heures d'utilisation et le SAV me dit qu'il n'est pas réparable alors que c'est un modèle qui était plutôt haut de gamme, il m'a couté près d'un euro par heure de projection et est maintenant bon pour la poubelle.
Qui dit mieux ?
Malgré la réponse ci-dessous de BenQ, aucune réponse satisfaisante n'a été apportée à ma demande : le produit n'est pas fiable (mort au bout de 1000h) et il n'existe aucun moyen de le réparer à un coût ne soit pas celui d'un produit neuf.

BenQ Kundenservice Deutschland hervorragend. Sehr kompetent und hilfreich. Mir wurde bei all meinen Anliegen exzellent geholfen. Mit ein Hauptgrund warum ich bei einem neuen Gerät wieder bei BenQ gekauft habe.
Bitte den Kundenservice Deutschland so weiter führen!
benq worst service I ever seen nobody cares that I bought a 1000 euro monitor that got lost ,fighting for over a month with customer service trying to get my money back ,can't deal with this company

I am very disappointed. BenQ customer service is useless. There has been no progress since November. I received two replacement projectors, and both were defective. The second one blew up after 1.5 hours of use. There is no progress.Even though the product is under warranty, it’s worthless.

Excellant communication and they were very attentive to my requests as to the product I required. They arranged for the availability as it was difficult to find the same terms elsewhere. They also arranged quick and efficient shipping and followed my case to the end with constant email and telephone communication. Direct telephone contact was plaisent and efficient. I'm am also extremely pleased with my purchase. I will certainly deal with them again if needed.
