Missed the delivery date

Missed the delivery date that they gave, just saying order was missed. Booked order in for the following week. Phoned back the day before delivery to ask for a more accurate time of delivery and just told phone back at 8 in the morning even though the order could be there before 8.

Absolutely outstanding service!

I ordered almost £1,000 of steel, and it was delivered less than 24 hours later. What absolutely outstanding service! The driver rang prior to arrival to let me know he was on his way. Thank you BM Steel, Aberdeen.

Excellent service

Ordered multiple cut lengths for a DIY project.

Scott T in Bridge of Don store was exceptionally helpful, with order updates, good communication and flexible collection times. Couldn’t ask for more.

Initially went well enough did the…

Initially went well enough did the order online , but then they rely on agents in different parts of the country to do the order, from an order placed till delivery best part of 3 weeks , when I contacted the agent about the missing order, I was promised a call back , had to call next day again , did get the order reasonable quickly after that, I suspect that cost of haulage may have had something to do with it but lack or no communication is not excusable, especially if when I needed steel for another project, used a local major steel stockholdert, ordered it speaking to a human, paid for it upfront delivered in 48 hrs at a reasonable cost , This company offered free delivery but put the job back 2 weeks, learnt my lesson will doing business local from now on

Our order was forgotten...

We stipulated a date for delivery. The steel sheet arrived a week early, then failed to be returned on the day we needed it. A phone call to discuss delivery, we agreed on a new date, the following day. Chasing this the following day and we were told the dispatch team forgot to load it onto the truck. At this point we requested a refund. Very unhappy with service.

Peterborough branch bad experience

Peterborough branch . An order was placed for steel channell ;box section was delivered staff refused to exchange as they state they confirmed but it was their error we have traded with them on a cash basis for twenty + years. WE will not trade with this company ever again

The item in question was quoted, confirmed, and delivered exactly as agreed. The issue arose when it became clear that a different product was actually required. When our team attempted to resolve the matter over the phone, our staff member was met with verbal abuse.

We want to be absolutely clear:
We will always support our customers, but we will not tolerate abusive behaviour towards our staff under any circumstances. Our team is here to help, and their safety and dignity are non-negotiable.

We regret that this situation escalated in the way it did, particularly after such a long trading relationship. However, we stand firmly behind our staff and the professionalism with which they handled this interaction.
