The older lady contact lens optician with reddish short hair was a very terrible and racist optician. Not only was she extremely rude and racist, she clearly didn’t know what she was doing. How do people like this get jobs, while people that actually need the jobs and will perform way better jobs are still out here searching for. I had to continue correcting her and educating her about my particular situation. Thank goodness I had prior knowledge regarding my eyes concern. She kept rushing me and interrupting me when I tried to explain my concerns. She barely performed the complete eye test and then gave me trails lens after much deliberation and literally tried to take them back from me. Boots optician Cheapside, why is someone like this working as a clinican and rendering service to people. Extremely questionable practice

Easy booking, short wait to get the test underway, super friendly professional staff, perfect…Good selection of specs with a varied price range, even the cheapest appear really good quality. Highly recommended.

Recently visited Muswell Hill branch for an eye test and new glasses. Exceptional service from Thalia during the eye test and Nicola whilst dispensing. Both members of staff were extremely professional and knowledgeable making the visit a pleasurable experience. Thank you.

I had a comprehensive eye test at New Milton branch of Boots Opticians today, Matt, the Optometrist explained everything clearly and was very professional. The support staff, Lucy and Roney were friendly and helpful.

Eastbourne Boots Opticians. Wanted help as vision has deteriorated before time up with another optician. Saw Optician Mohammed Shahine who scolded me loudly literally for not having a past scrip with me. Had already spoken to assistant that I could come back another day, as she had explained NHS might not fund if it was discovered on testing my vision hadn't changed. I explained this to Mohammed Shahine who said angrily he didnt know I had discussed this. I don't know anything about you he shouted - yes I said that's why I am coming to you - why he shouted have you left the other optician - I kept silent why should I have divulged that to him - but after a pause I said 'LISTEN' he came threateningly towards ne shouting that I was being rude! If there is cctv in this Optician's room at Boots Eastbourne they need to review it right away. Never ever should a vulnerable elderly be abused in this manner. Horrendous situation could have made me ill.

I had my eyes tested on Monday morning at the poole dorset branch and just wanted to say how happy I was with the service, the lady who did my test was very informative, she gave me great advice and was friendly, the staff who booked me in and took my payment where lovely too.

Awful! Don't bother with Boots. I've been waiting over 3 weeks for 2 pairs of glasses, standard single vision lenses from their own brand so nothing special. Still waiting, no contact from the branch, and they had the cheek to send me a letter today offering 1/2 price off a second pair of glasses etc.. I still haven't received the two pairs I have already ordered. Walton on Thames branch. Please don't send me your standard reply asking for my details.

Good professional service.

Bought two pairs of reading spectacles, and later discovered that the charges did not correspond to the advertised discount of buy one, get second half price. Phoned branch and was told discount did not apply to sunglass frame spectacles. They offered me a goodwill discount to match the offer, because of the misunderstanding. Spectacles ready 5 days later, picked them up, and all fine.
The invoice provided is very poor, one margin chopped off, layout confusing, and codes / subjects unclear. Simple editing by a novice could improve it. Upon collection I requested a new invoice to reflect the correct charges, and the second invoice was more professional, but failed to clearly identify the credit paid. Boots needs to urgently improve their printing format for invoices, as the current state is unprofessional

Popped in to Macclesfield shop as wife glasses fell off and screw came out the staff were really nice and sorted the glasses out right away without any fuss or frustration with us so thank you to the lovely chap and lady who helped. Thank you

Rude abrasive staff.
I ordered a pair of varyfocals costing over £400 and Contac Lenses. I was going to attend for contact lens fitting but Boots cancelled the appointment.
When I went to pick up the glasses I was asked to pay for them as I expected.
I asked for the discount on the frame which is 50%.
The assistant said the till would not allow her to do a refund. I did not take the glasses away.
The Manager rang me today and said none of her staff would ask me to pay for the glasses until I had signed up for contacts.
Basically I was being called a liar.
All she had to say was she would refund me for the glasses and I could then attend to fit the contacts. What a total waste of time and money.
My advice would be to go elsewhere.

We were seen by Cordelia who was absolutely amazing showing my 15 year old son how to put his contact lenses in. Plenty of time and great tricks. So happy and helpful made the experience great! Thank you

Appointment on time, no waiting around, very professional, helpful and friendly staff.
Optician gave me details of my eye test, answering all my queries, offering very good advice. I didn't feel rushed at all.
Great selection of frames which made it difficult for me to choose!
Eventually I chose frames, lenses, payment made and appointment for collection.
A 2 week wait, fitting, etc.
Very happy with new new varifocal glasses.

Total carnage ! Took an hour and a half for routine eye check ! No explanation as to glass required . Graduate use manual processes rather than normal procedures ! Never again !!!
