Terrible service from both courier and…
Terrible service from both courier and BS fixings. Ordered 27th of April with next working day delivery. Received the second half of delivery 15th of May. I had to source materials from another supplier to ensure the job was completed at more cost to myself than originally would have paid. They gave me a refund of the late delivered material, putting me out of pocket. Will not be using again

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry that your order was affected by courier delays and that we did not provide the level of service we always aim to deliver.
We fully understand how frustrating this must have been, especially when you had to source materials elsewhere to complete the job. As the delayed items were no longer required, we refunded those items in full. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund more than the value of the affected goods, but we do appreciate the inconvenience this caused.
While the courier delay was outside of our direct control, we do take responsibility for the customer experience and we are genuinely sorry that we did not meet expectations on this occasion. We work hard to ensure customers receive their orders quickly and reliably, and the majority of our reviews reflect the service we strive to provide.
We are sorry again for the inconvenience caused and appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback.

We do appreciate your comments regarding the delivery cost to an AB postcode, and we’re sorry this felt high. Courier charges to certain areas can unfortunately be more expensive, but we completely understand your frustration.

What a con - charging extra for delivery then not delivering within timescales
Ordered for next day delivery - received confirmation of next day delivery.
Made contact the following day as had not received a despatch email was told issues with weather. Advised that the items were for an urgent order: works to be completed at a hospital, labour booked, access equipment arranged. Was then told that I had missed next day delivery and that is why order had not been despatched. Had to pay and extra £19 plus VAT for next day AM delivery.
Order did not arrive till 2pm which was too late. Made contact to advise that item hadn’t not been delivered as advised and requested a refund. BS FIXINGS refusing to refund delivery charge despite order not arriving at all the first day then not as paid for on the following day. Will not use again

Thank you for your feedback, I'm really sorry to hear that your items didn't arrive on time.
We find that DHL offer a good service but unfortunately they have let us down on this occasion, so we feel this review may be more suited to the delivery company than to us.
I would just like to assure you that we did everything we could on our side to help you with your order. Regarding the delivery charge, you got free delivery on your order but the order was placed after the cut-off time for a next day service which is shown on the website. The following day you requested to upgrade the delivery to a premium AM delivery option instead of free delivery, so we helped with this and we sent your items out on a next-day AM (morning) delivery as requested. Unfortunately DHL delivered at 2pm which we are really sorry about. The delivery was out of our control as we did everything we could on our side as you requested.
We provided a full refund for your delivery as soon as you told us that the items didn't arrive in the morning. Apologies if there was any confusion about the refund. I can assure you that we certainly wouldn't refuse to refund this as we were happy to help you on this, and we understand the frustration when couriers don't delivery on time. I will send you an email with the refund confirmation.
Apologies again for any confusion on your order.

Speedy efficient value for money
Order arrived quickly was well packaged and was what I ordered. Not used the nails yet, however, the quality looks to be as good as others previously purchased elsewhere at a higher price. I feel the BS FIxings will perform just as well

Good quality Stainless steel ring nails delivered with in couple of days, I gave a four star rating as I didn’t receive a delivery/ dispatch confirmation email? They just turned up on the doorstep.

Items not always in stock even though it says they are however I was notified but only after placing order
Although when I ordered my items it said they were in stock they were not. I did receive an email saying they were out of stock but stock expected in next couple of days. I was kept informed and items arrived 5 days late though that included weekend. Did cause a bit of a delay which we could have done without but at least the items arrived.
