On the 3rd April 2026 my father passed…

On the 3rd April 2026 my father passed away. he had a business account with EE and around the 15th April i contacted them to let them know he had passed and needed to switch some of his line and cancel the rest. I was asked for the death certificate which i sent on the 17th April. I then didn't hear anything for 2 weeks until we received a new bill for the period 18th April - 17th May bearing in mind my father was deceased for this whole period. I was then passed from pillar to post between cancellations team, small business team, customer service team and back again. I had to call every night after work and never got any where. We had to pay the bill before they would even discuss it further and were also told we didnt have the the bill payers permission to discuss the account, again remember my father is deceased. I was then told they couldn't change the name because he wasn't on companies house which again i reminded them he is a sole trader and not on companies house. It is now the 18th June. I spoke to someone yesterday as despite being told the bill of nearly £1000 that they insisted we had to pay had been wiped, we have been getting hounded on my fathers phone, email and post to pay a bill of £467. I tried to speak to someone and they said it was all wiped but we had a bill of £24 to pay. I asked to raise a complaint and was told what do you want to gain from raising a complaint and i said i want a refund and a formal apology, we have had to deal with this whilst grieving. I was told the complaints team had just picked up conveniently whilst i was on the phone and had emailed my mum, which she has never received. I call again today and was told i needed to speak to the small business team so i did and they said they couldnt put me through to complaints and there were no managers available.
I am with EE and my father was with them from the very beginning but the business team are absolutely appaling and kept telling us it was policy and they understand. One person even said oh you were probably put through to me because they wanted to finish the shift.
Avoid at all costs. We are considering going to the ombudsman now because this is ridiculous.

Business account with no online account management

We joined EE as a business customer and have never once been able to access or manage our account due to a known EE ID system fault. This has been acknowledged repeatedly by EE since January, yet more than six weeks later the issue remains unresolved.

Despite multiple calls, escalations, and promises of fixes by specific dates, nothing has changed. We still cannot view bills, monitor usage, manage lines, or meet our internal governance requirements. EE’s latest response confirms there is no timeline at all for resolving the fault.

To make matters worse, EE insists on charging early termination fees of over £1,500 even though they have not provided the basic service we were contracted for. We were even warned about potential debt collection despite the fault being entirely on EE’s side.

This has caused significant operational disruption to our business, and EE has offered no compensation, no workaround that actually works, and no accountability. A deeply disappointing experience for any business expecting reliability and transparency from a major provider.

We are now needing to change DD collection, however unable to revised bank details as no portal and poor accessibility via phone.

So-called business account is clunky, unreliable & far from fit for purpose!

I signed up for a new EE Business mobile contract several months ago and have been extremely disappointed with the online account management system.

Despite being a 'technology' company, I still cannot perform some of the most basic account functions, including downloading copies of my invoices. Instead, I have to contact customer services every month to request them manually, which is both frustrating and time-consuming.

I simply don't understand how such a fundamental feature is missing from a modern business account portal. The whole system is clunky, unreliable and far from fit for purpose.

Based on my experience so far, I wouldn't recommend EE Business and will certainly be looking at alternative providers when my contract comes up for renewal.

Appalling customer service ongoing…

Appalling customer service ongoing issues with limited companies unable to access bills since February. Unable to get through to a complaints dept & having to ring constantly to receive a bill (vat) then charged for services not received.
We’ve been with EE for years but service & tech have greatly deteriorated.

Lies and awful Indian customer service

I've been a EE customer for years, EE business support is based in Indian and the service I've had is utterly shocking, lies, broken promises over a period of months. I'm now moving all of our lines away from EE.

Bt mobile to ee mobile

Well what can I say bt switched my mobile services over to ee so far the service been outstanding no faults whatsoever yes been few bumps along way always resolved on first call or over online chatt highly recommend anyone joining for there business and as personal customer as faultless customer service above and beyond

Waiting for contract to end

Waiting for contract to end. They lied about my phone lines when we started and missed cooling off period to cancel as they just wanted sales. Their online accounts dont work so we cannot see any of our details considering we are supposed be a business and run. And they send us reals of paper copies of bill massive font. And to set up payments for dd been nightmare. Will be cancelling once contract is done. Put in many complaints and hear nothing or dead end conversations. Poor for a business

High-tech 5G Hub, but 1980s Paper Billing – A Net Zero Failure

We recently upgraded to the EE Smart 5G Hub (H5MS). While the hardware is cutting-edge, EE Business’s billing practices are a massive disappointment. In 2026, it is unacceptable that EE still mandates paper invoices for business customers with no option for digital/email delivery.

We are striving to be a paperless office and reduce our environmental footprint, yet EE is our only supplier actively hindering this goal. For a company that publicly boasts about its 'Net Zero' targets, forcing physical waste on customers is hypocritical and outdated. Great tech, but terrible, non-environmentally friendly administration.

Awful, potentially fraudulent stay away

Awful, verging on the fraudulent.
Told me I would get watch, roaming and tnt sports included in the business contract I purchased in the shop.
Then tell me after I purchase watch its another £6.50, then before holiday tell me roaming is £11.90 extra and if I had not rung I would of been royally screwed.
They also cant put a spending cap on watch so could get stung on the roaming on that, also appears zero recourse, they have the contract and really dont care.

Note: I did reply (Trustpilot response) - bit never heard form them again, says all you need to know about EE

20 Years of Loyalty went business from personal and wow its terrible!

I switched from personal to EE Business at the start of this year after more than 20 years as a customer. It has been a disaster.

I called EE before making a call to South Africa specifically to confirm my international add-on covered it. I was told yes. I made the call and received a £170 bill. Since then I have raised the complaint multiple times by phone and by email and every time I call back it has vanished from the system. Nothing has been investigated, no one has called me back, and they don't pull the call recordings that would prove what I was told.

There is also no online account access whatsoever, so I am entirely reliant on whatever a call handler tells me with no way to verify it myself. It is insane that in 2026 there is no online ability to check your add-ons or any of the parameters on your account. Your left to constantly call the call centre.

Please go carefully if you still have a Pocketlandline

Please go carefully if you still have a Pocketlandline account with EE Business. We discovered that the number can just be reallocated if another business claims it. no reference to the business account holder / longstanding bill payer inside of a direct debit being in place without fail for over a decade. The product is no longer available, but please go carefully if you rely on the service for your business. The complaints process did not resolve the problem either and told no escalation is possible.

Like everyone else who have submitted low star reviews I received the standard EE response of please give us more details and we will look into this matter for you. I did just that as requested and yet at the time of writing this "Edit" i.e. on 03/05/2026 I have received no follow up at all from EE Business. Of course all very disappointing, especially given the significance and severity of the original problem and loss of the business number - so I re-emphasise my caution to anyone who is still using EE Business's Pocketlandline system.

I have had a persistent issue with the…

I have had a persistent issue with the app/website where I cannot register my phone. This hasn't been resolved for the whole two years I have been with EE, despite complaining multiple times. I have no access to any info on my contract or any visibility to what I am paying for.

Payment site riddles with problems – and fast on late fees

Absolutely shoddy website when it comes to paying. I've tried for several days now to pay my bill on the EE app and on its website. Every time, it says "payment didn't go through - please contact us". When I did so, I had to fight with its chatbot to be put through to an agent ... who helpfully told me the "server was overloaded" and I should try again. In the meantime, of course, late fees have been applied. It's pathetic. I cannot wait to go back to O2!

I have had to phone ee 6 times to…

I have had to phone ee 6 times to resolve a problem renewing my contract. Each time they have said they have solved the issue, only for it to continue. I have now been billed over £10 more than my agreed "new" contract. Just spent 2 hours on the phone to see, and transferred 3 times to different departments. An appointment for Openreach was made 4 times, which they didn't show, due to the contract not taken in their system. Trying to get this resolved has been impossible, extremely poor customer service. They just keep making the same mistakes.

No service in Portugal, hopeless response from EE

I have had a mobile contract with EE for many years and I am locked into a business contract until November 2027. A very urgent issue arose when I was in Portugal, and I was alarmed to discover that no-one could call me from the UK and I couldn't call the UK. My phone told me I was connected to the main network in Portugal, NOS, and should have been connected to EE. I had wifi in my hotel and I communicated with EE using text messages via their App. Despite communicating with two customer service advisors, restarting my phone several times and attempting unsuccessfully to connect to other networks, it was impossible to make a call to the UK. In the end I was advised to call EE's UK technical department, impossible as I could not make calls to the UK! In desperation, I ended up crossing into Spain and connecting to Orange/EE there, and 5 hours after I first contacted EE for help I was able to call the UK. After I returned I raised a formal complaint, and after waiting two weeks with no contact from EE I received a text to tell me the complaint had been closed! Since then, and since posting the original version of this review, I have spoken to people at EE who have told me to contact EE before I go to Portugal and they will "see what we can do", with no guarantee that I will be able to make calls from Portugal next time. I have suggested that it would be sensible to be able to contact their technical department via WhatsApp from abroad, if it is impossible to connect to a mobile network but possible to connect to the internet via Wifi. This suggestion appears to have fallen on deaf ears. In the light of my recent experience, and the fact that it isn't possible to talk to anyone at EE who is based in the UK, I will be changing mobile provider when my contract ends.

I have been with EE for 23 Years for…

I have been with EE for 23 Years for my business and have 15 plus lines and they are now the biggest waste of time . There customer service is no longer a UK centre and it is so difficult to sort an issue . I returned a broken 13 iPad and they agreed to replace , They sent a 11 and said that's what i sent. Wrong. 2 and a half hours later and still cant get the issue sorted , Transferred to a different person so many times, Incredible poor service

Don’t assume the website is right

Been subjected to this problem twice- ordered a phone in November 25 said on the website should be dispatched within a day waited for a week no contact. Called them only to find out the phone is out of stock despite the website saying it is in stock. Cancelled my order- thought I’d try again and the same thing has happened. Not too impressed by their customer service even when escalated to a manager. Loyalty as a customer for 10+ years seems pointless.

Ridiculous

Was interested in getting EE 4g broadband for business. Person from EE phones to do identity check with the most random of ways to do it. Quick fire questions and then says identity check failed bye bye….. eh!? How in the hell does that work? I’ve been a personal EE customer for years. I’m seriously thinking of cancelling the lot now. Very disappointed with this so called ‘service.’ 😡
