No communication

Buttercup Pet Products do not reply to emails. Their customer service is non-existent. I emailed eight times using two different email addresses listed on their website, sent three social media messages (as they recommend) and have had no replies. They have missed the expected turnaround time between ordering and shipping as stated on their website. This is the worst experience I have had with a company for a long time. I have little faith that I will receive my order, and I will never use this company again. Ignore any Instagram advertisements or endorsements; it's not worth the stress.

Eight emails, multiple social media messages and no proper reply is absolutely not the level of service you should have received. I completely understand why this has left you feeling stressed and with little confidence in your order.

There’s no excuse for poor communication, especially when the dispatch time has already gone beyond what was stated. I’m genuinely sorry we let you down here.

Brilliant products

Brilliant products. Only gave 4 stars due to problem with original colour I ordered and took a while to be delivered. Easy to use and the QR code to show you how to set it up is brilliant. The bottle holders are so much easier to fill bottles and put straight back in and easy to fit. The hay holders are a tiny bit harder to fit but I done it by myself.

Disappointed

Delivery was really slow and doesn’t fit great onto cage, is a bit lopsided and leans forward even though I have tried refitting a few times. Was fiddly to install at first. Overpriced for what it is when the wire the bottle comes with was doing the trick.

I’m really sorry to hear you were disappointed.

The holder should feel secure and make things easier, not feel fiddly, lopsided or overpriced. I completely understand why the slow delivery added to the frustration too.

If you haven’t already, please do get in touch with us with a photo of how it’s sitting on the cage, as sometimes a small adjustment can make a big difference depending on the cage spacing and bottle size. That said, I’m sorry it didn’t feel right for you straight away.

The customer service was excellent

The customer service was excellent.
When I had to contact them regarding a missing component, they had a look and realised that I hadn't added to cage mount to my order, and it wasn't until afterwards I realised as well.
I ordered it through the link they gave me, and they were really helpful.

Awful transaction

Awful transaction, communication is so poor, I paid for delivery and on the website it states 3-5days but it took almost 3 weeks for my items to arrive. I would not recommend this company

Order unfulfilled

I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but as a returning customer who has made many purchases from this company, each experience recently has been worse than the last and I am beyond disappointed with the customer service. I really like these products; as a rescue, they make things much cleaner and easier for us and the animals in our care, but I have had a problem in some shape or form with every single one of my last few orders. Either components of the bottle holders have been missing, the dispatch date was very late and I had to reach out for updates, or in this most recent case, I’m without my order for over three weeks now and what long-awaited communication I’ve received from the company since reaching out on the 18th and twice since then in the last week, has not reassured me there will be a solution where I will ever receive this order. It seems things have really changed since I first started ordering from them and I’d be very reluctant to ever order again knowing I’m paying a lot of money for products that either don’t arrive or I’ll be anticipating some sort of issue with the dispatch and delivery. It’s a shame, as I want to continue using their products, but it’s become unreliable, stressful and time consuming trying to rectify issues that shouldn’t occur as frequently as they do. Extremely disappointing direction for this business. They’ve really let me down.

It’s incredibly disappointing to hear that your recent experiences have become unreliable and stressful. Missing components, late dispatch, unclear updates and an order still outstanding after weeks is not the standard you should expect from us.

I completely understand why this has damaged your trust, particularly when the products are being used for a rescue and help with the animals in your care. We should have made things easier for you, not more time-consuming.

I bought a water holder for my guinea…

I bought a water holder for my guinea pigs cage. I paid for express delivery. It didn’t turn up for a week and a half. And then when it arrived, half of the order was missing. They take days and days and days to even respond to any emails I’ve sent them will never be buying from them again.

Perfect Bottle Holders

I am delighted with my purchase of two water bottle holders. They are very well made and perfect for my daughters to easily help with changing the water for our rabbits without worrying where to place/secure the bottles with the wire. The holders make it very simple to slot the water bottles in and out place and snug enough too that our rabbits can’t pull them out. They did take a little longer to be delivered than expected but this is due to the courier. Other than that I would certainly buy again if needed.

Too long to dispatch item

The hay rack I ordered was fine no issues. But the length of time for buttercup pet products to dispatch it was unreasonable and well beyond their website stated timings. I emailed to chase it up and never got a response. Not sure how likely I’d be to order again now based of this.
(It took 9 working days to dispatch it, I was waiting just over 2 weeks from purchase)
