This organisation is very swift they have appointments at a variety of times and the questionnaires being online is great. Being able to access the assessment online was great for me so it was great to be able to get an appointment asap. The assessment itself was great and professional and really allowed me understanding on how much I am being impacted not based on feedback but based on how questions were asked that I misunderstood. I appreciate that the professional doing the assessment was also someone who looked like me as this was something I was also nervous about and it just happened to work out that way. I didn't feel rushed and feel like it was a great experience overall despite being nervous.

The Dr's and company I have been appointed and chosen to go with have been so lovely, Caring and made the process as easy and smooth as it can be the whole way through. As well as my case has moved along very quickly and efficiently.

I had a very positive experience during my ADHD assessment. Peter was professional, approachable, and made me feel at ease from the start. He listened carefully, asked thoughtful questions, and created a supportive environment where I didn’t feel judged. The whole process felt thorough but comfortable. I really appreciated how understanding and respectful they were.

Timelines:
10/02/2026 - Request GP appointment.
18/02/2026 - GP Appointment to request referral. Referral sent same day.
06/03/2026 - Confirmation referral has been received and processed.
07/03/2026 - Account registered and forms completed.
10/03/2026 - Received email to book an appointment.
12/03/2026 - CareADHD assessment.
17/03/2026 - Report received. Titration request submitted.

Fast and Efficient making the appointment once we had submitted the lengthy questionnaires but they are needed to go the next step.
Assessment conducted clearly with a very good manner. It's been a positive process so far.
Report now received and read, it was thorough and clear well written. I'd like to pass on my praise to the Social worker who wrote it. Very good Report thank you Marnie.

Some of my traits & struggles as at first the way the questions were worded wasn’t often the obvious answer for me, but she persevered and dug deeper to peel back the layers of 57 years being undiagnosed.

Forms easy to fill, they kept me updated when appointments were available, and let be of the outcome of the assessment straight away. Brilliant

Extremely long waiting times, far longer than advertised. When you ask for an update you get told there is nothing they can do and that asking for an update merely clogs up their inboxes!!

Lady was easy to talk to and made me feel relaxed

I honestly don’t even know where to start with this, which probably says everything.

I was referred in February 2025, had my assessment in September, and then requested titration straight after. I completed everything they asked for straight away… and then it’s just been silence.

Months later, I am still waiting. No timeline, no proper updates, nothing that actually makes me feel like this is moving anywhere.

The hardest part is being told what the problem is, being told medication would help, and then just being left to get on with it anyway. I’m trying to function day to day knowing there is something that could help, but I can’t access it. It’s exhausting.

I’ve chased this myself multiple times, and last week my GP even contacted them to try and push things forward — and still nothing from Care ADHD. No response, no urgency, just more waiting.

Trying to get answers is honestly draining. You either get vague replies or no real information at all. I still have absolutely no idea when this will actually happen, and that uncertainty just makes everything feel harder than it already is.

What’s also really frustrating is that the current wait is completely at odds with the timelines that were advertised when I chose Care ADHD. At the time, the expectation was weeks, not months. Had that been made clear from the start, it would have absolutely influenced my decision.

This is a service for people with ADHD — people who already struggle with waiting, uncertainty, and lack of structure — and yet the whole process has been exactly that.

I don’t complain lightly, but this has genuinely affected me. I feel stuck, overwhelmed, and completely unsupported.

I wouldn’t recommend this service, especially if you’re already struggling to cope.

My doctor strongly recommended. So I went with CARE ADHD. Lady who I met was very welcoming. Introduced herself. I mix up my words, ramble and mix up sentences sometimes but she was very understanding. She went through a lot of questions and I forget a lot of the 2nd questions she asked. She had to repeat herself a lot but again I didn't feel like she was getting impatiant with me. She let me finish and when I felt like I went off topic she was okay with that. Strongly recommend. I really liked the lady I had.

So far it’s been 5 star service it’s been smooth and very quick. Iv had my referral forms sent to me filled them out and sent them back. Had my assessment booked in 2 days later and was diagnosed the following day. Has taken about 3 weeks total so far. Booking team was great the assessor was fantastic. I have opted for medication and hope this next step will be as quick and seamless as the rest have been so far.

I was diagnosed level 2 Autistic last year. Mum thought about looking into an ADHD assessment as having both is common, and I struggle majorly with fatigue so it was another potential reason to cross off the list.
To start with, I had to send several emails that were missed trying to book an appointment, so I was already frustrated with this service.
During the assessment, I felt so unbelievably misunderstood and unheard. All the questions felt rushed through. I couldn't think about or explain anything because I would either be told it wasn't what she asked, or I was made to feel like I was wasting her time with details. I quickly grew to feeling unsafe to say anything other than yes or no without meeting rejection. The questions also seemed only about the typical physical representation, which I knew I wouldn't be.
Midway through, I broke down crying because it was just too fast for me and I was already sick of how I was being treated. We continued on, but at this point, I already knew it would be a no - which is fine, I didn't go into it expecting one way or the another. But after the diagnosis is where I really lost it with the assessor. She ended up practically blaming my mother (who was with me) for the way that I am. She told her I needed to be "disciplined" more, going as far as to suggest turning off the WIFI at night!!? I am 24 years old. I am autistic. Without my family's compassion and support, I would be depressed - which I was before being diagnosed with ASD and not receiving the support I now am. The audacity to not even let me explain anything about myself and then seemingly assume I am just lazy and looking for an excuse not to work or do chores is appalling behaviour from someone who's job is to work with and understand neurodivergent people. I left before the call even ended as the trauma from being shamed for my struggles triggered a massive meltdown.
I am content with the diagnosis, but telling my mother how to parent for her autistic child is crossing a line. Do better.

I couldn’t be happier with this service. After years of searching for answers, they finally helped me find them. The team was professional, supportive, and made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire process. I was referred by the NHS, and their service exceeded every expectation. I’d recommend them in a heartbeat.
