My experience with Care ADHD was very professional and helpful done with empathy and understanding, the practitioner was lovely and very supportive and polite

My assessor was patient, kind and understanding. She allowed me time to gather my thoughts and didn't make me feel stupid for any of the information I gave.

The real issue here is misleading timelines and goalposts moving. After a very short appointment wait time for diagnosis the information on the wait time page was 10-12 weeks. This has been updated today to double that. How can it be okay to mislead an increase the times. The update to that page was January and then today. You knew the wait times were increasing along the way.

You also know people once diagnosed and waiting to start medication to address their needs will have higher levels of anxiety while waiting. I chose Careadhd because of their wait times. These feel inaccurate and deceitful! This is causing a much higher level of anxiety and impact on daily life! Simply not okay.

Extremely long wait times that have repeatedly changed and doubled within the time I’ve been waiting. Whole process has been over a year and 2 months for me now- referred in Feb, was not diagnosed until October, and as of March 18 have still not heard anything about titration. Note that they represented their wait times as 6-8 weeks at my time of choosing CareADHD. Information on the website appears purposefully unclear or deceitful and attempts to contact and get updates will only be met with vague responses. Wait times include time it takes for them to send you forms, adding several weeks on to wait times that is not mentioned on the website as well. Had I had accurate information and wait times, I would have chosen a different service for titration and had the care I needed by now. I am truly baffled as to why they lie on the website when no one is experiencing the wait times they report, especially for neurodiverse patients attempting accessing critical care. I would not recommend CareADHD for anyone trying to access diagnosis or titration.

The whole process with Care ADHD has been very straight forward. There is a lot of information on their website, including forms to provide your GP to ensure you get a referral to them. The psychiatrist that carried out my assessment was very friendly and professional. The outcome letter I received was very thorough and full of all the information that myself and my doctor will need. The next steps are explained well. Would definitely recommend this company.

Really short waiting times and understanding clinicians

Very helpful for me this process the Doctor was excellent and very understanding. An emotional 2hr zoom. Finally I feel slightly liberated and look forward to the treatment process.

I had a really successful experience with the diagnosis process, however since pursuing the titration process for medication the care has been non existent.

They have moved the goal posts numerous times regarding what medical information they require for my titration. Whilst I completely understand the need to be safe when prescribing, the system is incredibly floored.

Communication is non existent and when you try to contact them via email there is a caveat given that if you email them then you will cause a further delay in the system. I’ve asked for simple confirmation that my medical records have been received and they cannot see to do this without up to 10 emails requesting this/chasing it up.

Given that this is a clinic/medical establishment responsible for dealing with people with neurodiversity who are likely to already be experiencing high levels of anxiety and difficulties in managing communications and appointments, the lack of care and follow up totally undermines what they are trying to achieve and how they should be supporting patients with such needs. They are adding unnecessary stress to an already very difficult situation to navigate.

I am so very disappointed and I just wish now that I had chosen a different provider for my titration because I would not be left nearly 4 months on without any support and I would not be having to chase the company daily with emails which is proving very stressful and counterproductive.

Mohammed was playful, and made me feel at ease. It was a really positive experience, I was a little anxious ahead of time and I didn't need to be.
