Choose to book nhs patient
Choose to book nhs patient. Quick to receive initial appointment. Plenty of reminders. Friendly assessor. Quick diagnosis and next steps explained.
Fast assessment but completely left in the dark without any support and indefinite wait times afterwards
The supposed wait time listed on the ADHD UK list of RTC providers is very misleading, as CAREADHD don’t combine titration/prescription appointments with your assessment; and post assessment, you hear nothing for months, and any queries regarding where you are in the titration appointment queue are met with generic copy paste “we know you’re waiting, but we’re facing unprecedented demand” type emails (as a private/RTC provider, they should really limit the number of patients they take on to that which they can adequately treat in due time).
During the assessment they also mentioned their coaching and apps that might have been a helpful way for me to deal with my long wait for medication based treatment… If they were actually included in their RTC care, which they aren’t (and they’re more expensive than I can afford).
I am a private patient
I am a private patient, and the initial assessment for my diagnosis was quick, the assessment was an hour and I had no complaints up until I paid the money for titration and it’s been around a month with no contact, no email, no form or anything other than my £599 receipt. I had high hopes that it would be smooth sailing based on how quick the diagnosis assessment was but I’m left with no idea how long I’ll be waiting for my titration assessment can’t seem to get through to anyone
CARE ADHD
CARE ADHD had plenty of online support and information available .No deadlines with questionnaires so no
pressure making the whole experience alot easier than expected !
Updated review - still terrible service
I’m updating my review after receiving a response from Care ADHD annd and unfortunately, it has only reinforced my concerns.
After months of being left in limbo following my diagnosis, I raised how much this lack of communication and support has impacted my mental health. The response I received was generic, dismissive, and ultimately unhelpful. There was no attempt to provide any real update on my situation, no indication of how much longer I might be waiting, and no meaningful effort to address the distress this ongoing uncertainty is causing.
Being told that “the queue is progressing” without any transparency or timeframe is not an update - it’s exactly the same situation I have been stuck in for months.
What I found particularly frustrating was being told to go back to my GP if I am struggling, or to ask them to request prioritisation. After already waiting this long, this feels like responsibility is being pushed elsewhere rather than the service taking accountability for its delays and lack of support.
The emotional impact of this process has been significant. Being diagnosed and then left without treatment, guidance, or communication for months has been incredibly difficult and has negatively affected my mental health. This is not just an administrative delay, it has real consequences for patients.
At this point, the issue is not just the waiting time, but the complete lack of transparency, accountability, and meaningful communication. The response I received has not reassured me in any way and has only made me feel more overlooked.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to consider alternative providers.
One month and still no forms sent
After one month they still didn't send the asessment forms. We kept writing them emails but they kept delaying the process, saying there was something wrong with the asessment, then they will contact in 24h, then we didn't hear from them again..

The first thing was the psychologist who did my consultation made me feel at easy and once we started I started to relax they where very in-depth conversations and got me the right diagnosis
Nice surprise
Was transferred over to CARE ADHD from ADHD NET which was shut down for some reason, after being diagnosed by ADHDNet.
I was surprised to be quickly moved to titration phase regardless of just transferring over especially with how long things can take in this space. I am one month into the titration and they seem helpful based on my first month review. I am switching over to a new medicine. So far process has been smooth and I am very grateful and impressed.

Quick assessment via the NhS and happy…
Quick assessment via the NhS and happy with the way they dealt with my diagnosis. Waiting for medication and hoping this doesn’t take too long.
Depressing impersonal experience
I paid for a private assessment which is quick, however extremely impersonal. You complete some online forms then basically a one hour Teams meeting with someone reading questions and recording answers, no discussions or information were available. Once diagnosed the next step is all done by email. They made a mistake letting by emailing that i was on the right to choose pathway, so I thought they had transferred me over but no, they had made a mistake and took weeks to inform me of this. Then they want your money then you hear nothing then they asked for bp levels and more money for an ECG. Because everything is done by email there are delays between every email. Once I said go ahead with ecg thre were more delays then more questions. In the end I gave up, I felt as if I was not give any service, extremely impersonal. Depressing that the NHS is paying this company for right to choose for some patients to get this awful experience.
Lack of communication post assessment
Lack of communication post assessment. Awaiting medication titration .
Forms repeat done no response
Extremely disappointing
Extremely disappointing.
The diagnosis interview and report came through very quickly. I was diagnosed at the end of September 2025 and received my outcome letter on 1 October 2025. Perfect, or so I thought.
Requested titration the same day. Both sets of forms were completed by 12 November 2025 and since then. Nothing. No contact from Care ADHD unless I contacted them first. I was originally quoted 8-10 weeks, then 8-16 weeks and then “we can’t give a timeline”. Nearly on week 25 and the only contact I’ve had is an AI email “we know you’re waiting etc…” and a response to my formal complaint email which basically said fill out this form if you want to complain. Formal complaint submitted using their form on 27 February and no contact still.
I think what makes this worse is that I’ve seen numerous people that requested titration months after me already completing titration and on their meds. It doesn’t seem fair at all.
Maybe I’ll receive a response now.
Still waiting for my titration…
Still waiting for my titration appointment after submitting all my forms back in December. Nobody can give me a date and I'm stuck in limbo waiting for this life changing medication while I'm out of work and struggling. I have the diagnosis but can't access what I need to help my symptoms. Email responses have been slow and I am incredibly disappointed.
My friends who went with ADHD360 had their titration built into their diagnostic appointment and therefore had their medication about a week after their confirmed diagnosis. These individuals have the same medical background profile as me, zero complicating factors and living in the same location.
I feel let down and forgotten about.
Started off well but heard less and…
Started off well but heard less and less from them. No response to emails, especially when I needed guidance most.
Very poor responsiveness
Private patient. Their poor admin and difficulty in getting through on the phone or people answering emails caused an approx 10wk delay in getting titration started.
At the start my treatment was great - this changed.
At the start my treatment was great, assessment was quick, had to provide an ECG before titration. Which started in November. I’ve been on one medication. Was moved to another 3 days before Christmas. This did not work, went back to my old one - 3 lost prescriptions, without medication for some time…. Finally got some, had 2 positive appointments. And instead of offering me a booster, they switched my medication to the one I trialled at Christmas and had a breakdown on… I’ve trialed it for a month. Same thing. But now I’ve had NO communication, I’ve emailed endlessly, no answer. I called. After a 45 minute wait to find I wasn’t booked in for future appointments.
I booked one for yesterday, no one called me. They’re closed today, emails still not answered. No communication. I just want to return to my old medication, with a booster for the afternoons. And then be sent for shared care. But it seems if you’re an NHS right to choose patient; they don’t have the time for you. Nor do they want to answer you, or actually have clinicians call you…
I’ll be calling Monday, again. But honestly, I feel ignored and unheard….
So disappointed.
I have given up hope with Care ADHD. This seems to be the only space where I have felt heard and seen in these reviews, more than I have by Care ADHD - to know I’m not the only one feeling this way is reassuring. The care and communication I have received has been absolutely awful. Life has progressively seemed to have gotten worse since my diagnosis and the urge to finally get the much needed help, is not available to me? All I can describe is a horrid feeling of being stuck. Knowing there’s absolutely nothing I can do but to ‘just wait’. I was assessed and diagnosed September 2025, and it’s now late March - no titration appointment all while advertising 12-16 weeks. The weeks keep being extended and extended and extended. It’s false advertisement and complete lies. I wish I’d known earlier, I would have chosen a different provider. It’s the fact there is no communication, after I’ve sent many emails and called so many times, it’s been the same generic AI bs response. This is not ok and goes against what their values and what they represent and stand for. Go elsewhere as you will be made to feel worse than you begun with if you choose Care ADHD as your provider.
The worst part is they will send a response to this and say fill in a feedback form knowing full well people with ADHD will see that as another task and are not likely to fill out another 100 forms JUST to get support. Leaving this review itself has taken me MONTHS. At least if there was a genuine reason given I.e. not enough clinicians, no medication.. anything! But no response is 10x worse. It’s wrong and shameful.
