Yay we have one happy daughter again!! Got to thank Adam and his team for a Awsome service . Nothing was a problem buying from them very easy going and delivered everything on time doing the little extras go a long way I wish them all the best and be a returning customer in future

Avoid this company like the plague. Adam the owner can at best be described as a joke. He comes across as sincere but is the opposite. The website looks impressive but its full of hollow misleading statements. If this industry were regulated the company would be struck off. Don't ever leave a deposit -you'll struggle to get it back when things go wrong. They have endless excuses and never follow up on their promises. They responses to feedback have no substance. If you want to buy a car please avoid this company. Adam and his staff are driven by money and nothing else!!

I found the car on Cazoo. Contacted the gentleman who spoke to me, Adam who spoke to me and answered all my questions that I wanted. I just wanted a cheap runaround really as my current car basically was due the scrap yard. But came across a couple of cars. Couldn’t decide, but with help found a car. I did a bit of research on the vehicle and seemed in good order. Adam arranged for it to be delivered to my house once I went the next day to test drive and have a look. Which I was happy with and really pleased with it, did some paperwork. Very pleased and any issues or faults, Adam was able to rectify promptly. Adam has quite happily agreed any further issues to take the car to him. Overall will recommend.

Car developed a fault within 4 months of purchase and the company refused any supported. I offered them an opportunity to repair based on the Consumer Rights Act 2015, but they do not seem to know and / or care that they have a duty to repair any cars they sell if they develop faults within 6 months. Dodgy and unhelpful as they come.

After a 2 and a half hour journey we arrived to rude staff who had no idea where the car was to find out that it was over 60 miles in the other direction, baring in mind we had paid a deposit. They showed no remorse and when questioned they argued with us and also started trying to contact us from a private mobile number which is not just in-professional but downright rude in the manor that we were spoken to, also to add to the fact that the staff of this garage were using the vehicles that are for sale as there own personal f1 car. If you consider getting a car from here I STRONGLY ADVISE OTHERWISE!!!

Recently purchased a car from The Car People Wales (Brynmawr). The car I wanted was in Brynmawr, I wanted to see it in their Aberystwyth Depot. Contacted Adam to firstly see if he could send me a video walkaround of the vehicle before asking to see the car in Aberystwyth. Adam sent the video straight away, from this I decided to ask to see the car. The car was delivered, and I arranged to see it, look over it, and test drive it. All good and happy with the car, they even took my car in part exchange. The car was as described and came with a 3-month warranty. A week after purchase, the brake caliper ceased. unfortunately, this wasn't covered by the warranty. So I spoke to Adam and he agreed to pay for the repairs. I can't fault the service I have received from Adam and The Car People Wales, completely happy with the car and the service received! I Would recommend giving them a try for your next motor

Bought a car in December as a first time driver, staff were very friendly and helpful when viewing the car. Highly recommend to anyone looking to buy a car 🤩

Rang and spoke to Adam, very helpful and collected me from the train station to view potential car purchase. Took me out for a test drive in 2 cars i was interested in purchasing, Adam was very patient, honest and professional also helpful in choosing insurance company, I was given a courtesy car to use whilst the car i purchased was sent off to Bodyshop for a few scratches to the car, at no extra cost, Adam agreed to deliver car to me when work was completed. Car has been delivered to my home address, and car has no body scratches on it very professional job completed, Thanks Adam to you and your team, I'm a very happy customer.

I bought a car for my son, even on the advert was saying it coms with two keys I still was given one with dam excuse that they waiting for a second one to be dropped off and given to me. However this never comes. Mrs rang two weeks later chasing it again same excuse.
Three weeks later I rang chasing V5 because hasn’t arrived as well. Someone said it will look in to it and come back to me(never did).
Four and a half weeks later I left a two star review on Autotrader and few hours later someone rang me straight away asking me to withdraw my review promising the word.
I told him I’ll be happy to withdraw the review if they pay for Audi dealer to supply the second key, but he disagreed on this terms so I refused to withdraw my review with Autotrader so his words were “we working closely with Autotrader so if I ask them for your review never to show up “.
So that’s the five star Autotrader dealer means to you.
In his words they selling hundreds of cars a month but in my eyes they barely have any reviews. So that should explain how honest and reliable dealer they are.

Great at selling cars but if you trade in a car which has finance don't expect them to pay it off. Still waiting 5 weeks after trading it in. You can't ever speak to anyone in their finance department and no-one seems to like to take any responsibility. Avoid if you possibly can. Complaint has been lodged.

I bought my Skoda Superb from the Car People September 2021 together with a 4 year service agreement. It was serviced then and has been since on 22 and 23. The next one is soon coming up. i have been buying these service agreements with each car I bought since 2001 (23 years). They have always added the details to the computer, a very important factor when selling the car. But the Car People NEVER do. I will never buy a car from them again.
The date below is irrelavent because it is multi date.

March 2024 I bought a car from The Car People ashton under lyne.
I was served by elliot whom ive left a great review, but emma whom works on the service team was very rude about elliot, when i told her what a lovely sales person he was, her reply was very dismissive of him and was very rude about him.
Within the 1st week the car had to go back due to various issues which after 2 months was still no better.
The car was always with the garage for a week or 2 (more 2weeks) and never any updates unless I was chasing it, the phones never answered and the customer service was not great.
Infact you was made to feel like you was mithering.
I was always having to deal with emma and her customer service skills are not the best.
We had a courtesy car in which my husband had left my case in, in realising I'd left it in the car couple weeks later I rang the car shop and emma said oh yes it's behind the desk (why was we never rang)
On the morning of speaking to emma about my case why did emma feel the need to be going through my case when on that same day of me ringing knowing it was mine.
She told my daughter she was putting a note inside.....why? (She knew it was mine)

Going back to the car , it was in and out of the garage over the 2.5 months 6 times.
I spoke with the service centre manager (Jacqueline jackson ) to discuss a refund, my husband then called her and she was so rude because we was given a courtesy car saying we should not of had one as we had another car in the household, not sure what that had to do with her when she didn't know our circumstance, but did go on to tell me other people was in need of it.
If the problem had been fixed from the start this wouldn't of happened.
Not forgetting my drivers seat belt was also broken in the midst of all this when they had it, I would not of had to keep complaining.
My money was given back but I lost short of £125 for the miles I'd put on it (joke)
I would NEVER use or recommend this company to anyone.

Visisted today. Couldn’t park in the customer parking spaces as they’d put all their courtesy cars in the disabled and parent spaces. We parked near the doors in an empty bay. Noticed numerous staff come to the door to watch us u load 2 babies and when we got in created by arrogant rude staff asking “can we help you”? We said we’ve come to look at cars? They said
Well you need to move your car it’s in the sales bay (it was 5pm and 5 other spaces empty. No signs to say no customer parking) never in my life have I come across a sauce arrogant thoughtless staff to watch us struggle and unload the kids to then tell us. Wouldn’t have hurt to nip
Out and tell us would it. We left before shopping which is a shame as we’d seen the car we wanted to buy online.

Had the best care from Joe Moore, very patient and friendly.
His whole demeanour made me continue to purchase a car from car shop since his first phone call over a month ago.
I would definitely continue to come to car shop if all the staff are as friendly and knowledgeable as Joe.

Never look forward to changing my car, the process, the choosing… However I returned once again to The Car People, Wakefield and am happy to say I was very well looked after by Emily and Harry.
They both helped to make it a more positive and trouble free experience than usual.

We had a brilliant experience choosing our next car at The Car People. We were left to browse at our leisure so we didn’t feel any pressure at all. Once we found a car we were interested in Adam and Bradley at the Warrington Branch were fantastic at further advising and assisting us. They were very helpful and knowledgeable about the car and our payment options, and again, we felt no pressure which we liked.

We are absolutely thrilled with our new car and will certainly be back in the future when we are ready for a change again. Thanks again to Bradley and Adam, you were both a pleasure and made the experience enjoyable rather than stressful. We would definitely recommend this branch and staff to others!!

0 stars. Terrible company, took around 2-3 months to fix my partners car, when it was finally ‘fixed’ there were still problems with the car. When my partner got it back he sold it. 3 months after selling it he gets a court letter saying he has to pay a fine as he was caught driving with no tax, the dealership had his car at the time so now he has to pay a fine as they were driving his car when they were meant to be repairing it.

Bought a car from Wakefield. Richard, our salesman was very helpful. Lisa the business manager was very good too. As were Tom and Lewis. Haven’t had any problems so far so hopefully this will continue.

As a returning customer my new cars window regulator broke on a 2019 car.

Took it in to get fixed. It supposedly got fixed but I couldn't open the door from the inside, or lock it so it was unlocked all night, plus there was damage to the door panel.

Has to go back yet again. In thier credit they gave me a hire car and said they would replace the damaged panel. Picked car up, they did a good repair but still not an immaculate door panel like when i first brought the car. Attitude changed, saying they didn't cause the damage and basically accused me of the damage and saying it was there before but perhaps I didn't notice it on a car that I'm paying lots of money for. Very patronising and won't be returning again for a car in the future.

Wakefield branch Kasim!! Our sale guy Kasim has looked after us since September 2022, and he remembered to contact us again in January for our new car. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for your advise on the different cars and for answing our mountain of questions. I will be back to part ex my car come July time. 10/10
